Understood. But what about when you go for your retirement extension? A photocopy has always been required. I've read that some immigration officials seem to do their own thing and ignore directives from above.

Just returned back to Thailand from the UK, 1 week ago & no TM6 required. In fact they have placed notices, just before the Immigration desks, stating that it has been suspended. Straight through Immigration in less than a minute, using my re-entry stamp, no hassles at all.

After a couple of days at home, i needed to renew my Non 'O' "retirement' Visa & this was also completed with zero hassle, at Jomtien office. Just the usual paperwork, photo, Bank stuff etc required.

Am I reading this right? You got your first shot August 26 and your second shot September 16?

Yet BHP has me waiting nearly THREE full months (July 28 to October 21) for my second jab!

Exactly the same as myself, 26th August for 1st Pfizer jab & 16th September for the 2nd one.

Central Festival in Pattaya, through BPH. Got a certificate of vaccination with QR code & also all vaccination information is on Mor Prom app.

Cops need a driving course lucky it wasn't a foreign driving the pick up TIT

Exactly the same thing happened to me 5 Years ago, on the Expressway in Bangkok, except he cut straight in front of me to go down one of the slip roads. He came from nowhere & the 1st I realized what had happened, was when he came to a stop on the concrete barrier ?

As he picked himself up & brushed himself down & started walking towards the car, I was preparing for a visit to the 'monkey house'. As he reached the car, he spoke to my partner, who told me to drive away. He had apologized to her for cutting in front of us & said it was all his fault ????

Just wish I had bought the car camera a few Months earlier, because that is one video I would love to be able to share.

  4. Just wondering if anyone has recently had electric gates fitted on their property, the sliding type, in Pattaya.

I'm looking for any recommendation's that anyone has, as I'm looking to get the fence on our property replaced & an electric sliding gate fitted at the same (preferably by the same Company, if possible).

    Any recommendation's gratefully accepted.

  5. To Trickcyclist

She managed to get herself to the Hospital in less than 1 Hour, where she received 5 doses of the Anti-Venom & a few days being monitored very closely.

She was bitten on the top part of her foot & almost instantly her leg swelled up & she wasn't able to walk, let alone drive. Luckily she was able to get hold of the Lady who opens the gate to our housing village & she went with another lady on a scooter straight to the Hospital.

When she was released from Hospital she needed to go back for regular blood tests & check up's, to make sure there weren't going to be any long term complications (internal organs failing etc). She was eventually given the all clear, much to our relief, hence her reaction to seeing the snake come out of the bushes at her yesterday w00t.gif

  6. Showbags, thanks for the reply.

Do you happen to recognise what it is then, just to put her mind at ease.

Yes,unfortunately it didn't stand a chance, as she was working in the garden when it struck out near where she was & she replied with the garden spade she had in her hands (totally non thinking reaction on her part) ......................................................... and before she starts to get abuse for killing it, i'm with her on this one, if i had gone through what she went through.

Can anybody identify this snake for me please.

Found it in the garden today (Pattaya) & it scared the living daylights out of my G/F, but then again it was only the middle of last Year that she was bitten by a Malayan Pit Viper & nearly died, so i can understand why she screamed so loud.

I'm not sure if it's another Malayan Pit Viper or not, but she seems convinced that it is & it's shaken her a fair bit.

Hopefully there's somebody out there who might be able to help us.

    Many Thanks
