Yeah, I guess I'll wait till tomorrow and will go ask in person, thanks

Thank malt25,
But I want to send via post office, no container or anything big, just a small package, jar of pickles....might be too heavy for plane and too small for sea freight!
-
I want to ship some small stuff to back home, I found out air is 900 baht per kilo, but how much is it by ocean freight or land?
Small items, does it go by cubic meter or by weight?
Thanks

My work permit is running out in a few days, having a hard time getting a hold of my lawyer to do this...I have a fresh Non B visa good for 3 months.
If it expires, can I simply renew anyways?
If this is urgent I need to find a new lawyer in a hurry...
Also, how long does it take to renew ( I figure same day?) and how much should I expect to pay?
Thanks

How much is the fee roughly?

I've seen a thread on this from 2007 on this website, but nothing current, going in 3 weeks, does my GF need a passport?
Only going for a visa run will only be in Laos 48 hours or so.
Thanks
The thread is here:
How about a redirect 301 to current answer? hint hint webmaster

Actually my travel agency who does my 90 day reports, says immigration opens on the 20th not on the 18th.
YOur tavel agent is wrong, Ubonjoe is right! 18th immigration told me

That is a new 30 day visa exempt entry not an extension. Extensions can only be applied for at a immigration office.
Yes , Ubonjoe, I went to cambodia last month, and my 30 days runs out tomorow on April 15th.
So I go and extend 30 days at immigration on 18th no problem yes?
I called and lady even said I wont have to pay overstay, correct?
But extension no problem yes?
Thank you,
I'm very worried about this..

I can get 30 days extension from 30 day stamp in Cambodia, did it last month, can do it twice a year, and next month I go to Laos for tourist visa.

Might work out on the 18th with or without an overstay fine.
You have no other option than setting the alarm on the 18th and join the queue.
My GF called and they said no overstay, my stamp runs out on the 15th, tomorrow, and I tried to go today. So nothing I could do...I got confused about Songkran big day on 19 in Pattaya and big day 13 in other cities...
I thought that they would be closed on the 19th like other businesses, little did I know that the gov takes the whole country's schedules as a holliday!
Getting a 30 days extension from Cambodia, lady says it's fine, relieved, please confirm.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that this is happening to...

What kind (length) of extension do you need and what is the exact due date?
30 days and I have to renew before the 18th

Extension on 30 days on arrival stamp from Cambodia

I need to get an extension at Jomptien immigration before march 18th.
Are they open everyday or some days off because of Songkran?

Getting private car all the way there, worth it for me

Big bus doesn't leave from Pattaya....

I'd do Ban Laem or Ban Packard, instead. You can pay $30 USD for the Cambodian VOA (bring USD) + 100 Baht tea-money (some don't pay this), no "health" scam, and perhaps a return-fee. Also, generally less crowded.
Downside is, unless you have your own vehicle, a van will be required for at least part of the journey to any point other than Poipet, which is now an non-useable crossing for this purpose. If willing to take the van, there is a direct to Ban Laem from Pattaya (061-44-30-847 - have a Thai speaker call), which is a fraction of the cost of the "visa run" companies' offers.
I just called, 320 baht one way, how is the van? Is it a suicide driver?

Can't go to Poipet? How far is ban kapar from border? I can't find it on the map...is it pailin?

That depends upon from where you will be starting the border run from.
Ban Laem if in Bangkok and its environs.
Ban Pakard from Pattaya.
I want the shortest distance and less headache, I live in Pattaya, I may hire a taxi or take multiple short bus rides over a couple of days to reduce my consequitive time on the vehicle.

Need to go to Cambodia soon to get a 30 day stamp.
What border is the best?
I'm a Canadian so get 30 days and not 14 yes?
How much will this cost, will they try to extort me? Do I need plain ticket back scam and health certificate like they used to ask?

That is after they deny an extension application and it is 7 days to leave the country.
You would be applying for an extension for medical treatment.

I have a lawyer now, meeting him in an hour

The overstay cannot be paid unless you qualify to apply for an extension at an immigration office.
Some agents and etc might be able to do it for you if immigration will do an extension.
Immigration told me they only grant 1 7 days extension...
-
I read you need 3-10 million...
