  1. my wife is  a natural in the garden. we have many different crops, mostly from seed, however weve had no joy with avocados.

we have many avocado trees from seeds. some  from the changmai variety, some from imported fruit, and  a couple i brought from my home in the Canary islands.

after 5 years , no sign of any fruit.

    any ideas?

  2. not an answer to your question, but just to say, after getting my yellow book some 5 years ago, i applied for a thai style id pink card, at the same ampur, and had one in a couple of days. while this card by no means is in lieu of  a passport, i found it useful for tourist attraction discounts, and also as id.

whenever im asked for id (not police) i show my pink card and if thats not enough i dig out my passport. So far it's been good for rail, bus travel, my bank, shops, and many other situations. all i would say is that its virtualy free and is very useful, and doesnt appear to have n expiry date.

  3. my home province is Ubon, but I'm in Prachuap province on  a visit. My 90 day is up on April 22nd

The local imm office here told me I could not report at their office, only my home province,

however i found this on the official website

(Updated last June 8, 2018)   You can file your 90-day report (or authorize someone to file for you) at any of the following locations:

    • Immigration Bureau Office, Chaengwattana Road, Bangkok
    • One Stop Center Chamchuri Square Centre (if your visa was issued here)
    • Immigration offices throughout the country
    •

    Any comments?

  4. I have read various helpful posts on this subject, but my local Amphur will not issue me with an id card, even though they issued me with the yellow book 3 months ago.

I think the only chance I have , of getting this pink card, is if I can show them an official notice, in Thai, stating that I am entitled to one. Can anyone out there send me a copy of such a notice, of info on how I can get it.
