I am attending Thai University for a Masters, I have been getting year long extensions on my visa. I will be taking a three month break from Thailand for a training course, I will still remain enrolled at university and will return in 2019. My question is what I need to do in regards to my extension. My Visa extension will expire in 5th November when I am away. Can I apply now for a new extension or will I need to apply for a new visa? Thanks

Hi, I am on a Student Visa here attending University for a Masters, looking though the pages on TV I note that for a Certificate or Residence it seems at CW a 90 day report is needed. I came on a single entry and then got an extension after 90 days, I have not done a 90 day report since then as I have traveled outside Thailand.
Does anyone know if CW will issue a Certificate of residence under these situations as I had an extension plus showing my lease or do I need to deal with the Australian embassy.
Thanks.

I am slightly confused on the process for the ED visa and what the implications are to travel outside of Thailand. I am planning to apply for an ED visa in Penang as the Singapore embassy wants unreasonable documents. I will be attending Kasetsart University for a Masters.
What I don't understand the difference about is multiple visa or a multiple re-entry permit as I will need to travel once a month outside of Thailand. I notice on the visa information page that Penang only issues a 3 month visa, is this correct or does this mean that after 90 days apply for an extension in Thailand.
Thank you in advance
