  1. The main thing for you, that you need to understand if you have some extra weight you need to move more or eat less.

We all know that. There isn't a person with a weight control issue alive that doesn't know that. Just knowing that is a start. But to tell people what they already know a MILLION times isn't really helpful. It is often seen instead as condescending. As if we don't know that, but we DO know that.

I would adjust that a little bit though. Scientific research has shown in an overwhelming way that the food intake part is much more important than the activity part of it. It's often a question of math. If you eat a slice of cake it take so many hours to work off those calories, so it's just much more PRACTICAL just to avoid eating that slice of cake!

This information is what we have been hearing all our lives but it's not true.

A calorie from sugar is treated differently than a calorie from fat.

Sugar: raises your blood sugar and by that trigger insuline hormone to store fat in your body.

Fat: doesn't raise your blood sugar, no trigger of insuline and body burns that fat instead.

Nothing for sale, no pills, no medicine, no gym memberships, only free advise.

You forgot to add that if you eat too much fat it does not have to mobilize insulin to store the fat in a fat cell as it needs no conversion. Carbs are not the enemy.. excess carbs and simple carbs are.

The energy balance still counts.. eat too much fat and you will get fat anyway, it will get stored without the insulin.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The idea to replace carbs with fat is that you will feel more full with fat than with carbs, thus you eat less.

The body will eventually switch from storing fat to burning it, which is the body's real function.

Think about how long time in the human history we've had access to processed food such as bread and sugar, not very long.

Have you ever tried this? I have and lost weight without any excercise. The body is normalizing by itself.

  3. The main thing for you, that you need to understand if you have some extra weight you need to move more or eat less.

Your advise have never worked well unless you starve yourself or exercise forever.

The only method is to start eating natural food: Stop sugar and carbs.

You will NEVER go hungry. No excercise.

    Check this out:

Plenty of information. Nothing for sale, just free advise.

Try it for a few months, you will lose weight guaranteed!

  4. This is how I lost weight and kept it:

Stop eating junk food, start eating natural food.

    Stop eating

    Bread

    Real beer

    Sugar

    Potatoes

    Eat

Fat food (bacon, sausages, pure fat, double cream)

    Meat (all kinds)

    Vegetables

    Drink

    San miguel light

    Dry Red wine

    Pure whiskey or with soda

No heavy excersize needed to loose weight.

You'll never need to go hungry if you eat enough fat.

It's all about keeping the blood sugar level at a constant low level.

    This has worked for me.

It's not a diet but more of a lifestyle.

If you go back to eating processed food and fast carbs, you will gain weight again.

Umm, eat bacon, sausages and pure fat, but DON'T eat processed food!!? Call me sometime after you have had the first stent installed. ( I guess you have never had the 'golden' opportunity to watch a sausage being proces....made )

OK, you can allow yourself to eat processed meat sometimes, meaning sausages and other meat/fat produce.

Pure fat is not processed food and this is actually what we have been eating for thousands of years. However NOT in combination with quick carbs (processed food) like pure sugar and wheat.

Try and you'll see for yourself.

  6. San Miguel Light has 50% less carbohydrates(gluten).

That's the one I'm drinking and it works well for me.

I stopped eating bread, regular beer and sugar. Lost 10kg within a few months.

Dry red wine is also OK to drink for those who want to cut down on Carbs.

  7. I was in a depression when working in Bangkok a few years ago (after a messy separation).

After having done a health check-up in the largest hospitals in Bangkok, I spoke with the doctor afterwards and explained that I think I'm in a depression and asked if he had some medicine for me.

Surprisingly he did not want to give me any medication, he said: "Try to activate yourself, do things you love, excercise, sleep and eat well".

I did that and finally found my way back to a normal life, even if it took a while.

Now I'm thankful for his advise, I could have been stuck with medication and perhaps adicted to it and never gotten out of the depression.

I think it's a matter of getting those bad thoughts out of your mind by forcing yourself to be active. It's NOT easy but it works!

  8. - Stay away from all types of sugar (even juices). You will get all your C-vitamines from vegetables.

    - Skip bread and other carbohydrates (musli, oat etc).

    - EAT protein, vegetables and fat (real traditional food!). It will keep you full all day and your blood sugar at a low stable level.

    - The best part is that you will never feel really hungry (ready to faint).

You will see and feel the difference after only a few days and after some months perhaps you can cut down or even remove your medication.
