1. It's clear that he is the best but more expensive than others also....

I would recommend Studio Smile -- Dr. Tapasit - he rec'd his dentistry training in the US and practiced there for 7 years. He speaks excellent English. For about 13 years he practiced at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya - when he left and opened his own clinic with some other dentists, many Expats here followed him to his new location. His clinic is next to the Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya -- info and map can be found on Studio Smile website: http://www.studiosmilethailand.com/OUR_DENTISTS.html

You are also correct.....and quite fortunately you always get more than you pay for with Dr. Tapasit at Studio Smile!

Absolutely!!! I could not agree with Khun Soi Sanuk any more.

Dr. Tapasit has had a great education and practical experience in the United States before arriving here in Thailand to begin working as a dentist and as stated above Dr. Tapasit has had pretty much the best experience and reputation a dentist could receive here on the Eastern Seaboard.

His popularity and extensive patient list of expat executives and residence and vast experience working with foreigners on holiday in Thailand make him a most excellent choice for sure.

As well....he is a great family man and person to know as a friend.

Get a great dentist and a new friend!

  3. It might be interesting to note that American children were still doing the Bellamy (Hitler) salute to the American flag as late as 1942

    pledge7n-3-web.jpg

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bellamy_salute

So I guess that means that Americans taught Hitler and Queen Elisabeth this salute?

That is how ignorant this line of thought is.

The salutes origin goes all the way back to Roman times as it was the Roman Salute.

We (the world) have been conditioned (brainwashed) to see this salute as evil as just another act of support and submission to the Zionist propaganda that inundates the world media and our entire lives.

Is it alright if I admire the Roman Salute?

Is it alright if I am old enough to have done the Bellamy salute at my American public school room?

Is it alright if I have an 'opinion' about Zionism?

And finally....can Scott (the moderator) or anyone here at ThaiVisa tell me why I should be given a warning for the following statement?

Now that the Obamanation (AKA America) is well on its path towards communism and Russia and China are basking in their new found free enterprise experience.....all of these inexperienced Russians and Chinese will soon be the upper classes looking down their noses at the westerners.

We all can say just about any terrible thing we want to about Syria, North Korea, Iran and now of course Russia........but we cannot communicate our feelings and point of views about America and Israel?

Where in the hell is ThaiVisa coming from or was Scott the ThaiVisa moderator just having a bad day?

Had they been paid an above market price for their rice from a scheme that could wreck the economy, they would be quite happy. They are concerned only for themselves, not the Thai Nation. Don't paint them as heroes.

These people are farmers not economists, bankers or politicians. They were offered a price for their product.

The farmers accepted the offer. It was not the duty of the farmers to calculate what the effect of the offer was going to have.

The farmers have not been paid what was offered despite delivering the goods.

It is right the farmers now demand, in any possible legal manner, that what is owed is paid !

Thanks to The Pool for standing up for the farmers who are the very people that are receiving and will receive the most damage and hardship.

These people make up over 50% of the Thai population. Yes, over 50% of Thailand's population are either farmers and/or deal directly and indirectly with the farming industry.

THEY are THAILAND! To hear some of you Farangs talking like LemonJelly is just pathetic and shows the insensitivity so many of you Farang blowhards have for Thais.

One more thing to all the BlowHard Farangs...why do you keep using the word Democracy?

Why does Yingluck and the Redshirts keep using the word Democracy?

One: This is completely 110% about criminal acts against the Thai people and severe and costly criminal acts.

Two: There never has been a democracy here in the first place....never!

If a Thai person votes the way thier Komnan (Village head) tells them as he was told by the head of their district who was told by their governor....fine!

Thai people have never had a problem with that.

In fact Thais are so used to corruption that as long as all Thais are in for the ride....all is well!

I am not condoning corruption but just telling it like it is.

When the corrupt officials are so greedy and corrupt that they FORGET to feed the mouths that voted for them....you have a big problem in Thailand.

These poor farmers and the entire rice industry has been destroyed by these hired puppets of the megalomaniac in Dubai Thaksin who has plundered this country and plundering is a most serious crime.

No matter what happens in the short term....the farmers and poor people of Thailand are screwed.

They are going to have to be the ones that pay for the corruption and crimes of the Yingluck-Thaksin regime.

These Red Shirt leaders don't give a <deleted> about farmers or even Thailand.

They are all being paid and are being offered incredible amounts of money to bring DADDY back home.

They are greedy, dishonest and will become very violent in order to get their money from DADDY.

I've got news for you Red Shirt guys.

You are never going to get those huge financial bonuses!

And your DADDY is NEVER coming home!

Thanks again to The Pool for sticking up for the underprivileged.

    Boz,

You're probably almost completely wrong with everything you've said.

But 5 points for trying anyway

    Congrats

    Question for Honest Quiet Bob:

    1. Would you like to honestly tell us boys and girls just how great Thaksin and Yingluck have been or the people of Thailand?

    2. Is your nick name HonestQuietBob because every time you speak people tell you to shut the F%k up?

  5. this sums up the problems of Modern Thailand ..ignorance and stupidity

This one is for Terry the moderator.

    What's up with you?

You give me a warning for misuse of Shinawatra family names which you said was a post which uses aberrant spellings of politician's names and for insulting the intelligence of other members (Farang) on Thai Visa (Called a poster an idiot).

But at the same time you and many of the moderators on ThaiVisa continuously ignore posts such as Terry's above stating that all Thai's are ignorant and stupid.

Everything I said about Thaksin is true and most intelligent people know it and agree but you would not allow me to say that a Farang's comment was idiotic but Farangs on this site can continuously say that Thais are stupid and ignorant as if it was understood and true.

As you and other moderators continuously accept comments like these about Thai people you have established by default that ThaiVisa accepts the idea that speaking about Thais in this manner is the accepted standard on ThaiVisa which I have noticed for a very long time is the case.

As a moderator, in my opinion, you must ask yourself if one....you are being fair and equitable to both members on this site and Thais who have allowed your residence here....two....did you stop me for what I said or because you responded emotionally and felt I should be stopped (power trip)....and three....treat Thais who you are a guest of in their nation with a little more respect than that they are all stupid and ignorant.

I think that this is a fair and honest response to you and this ThaiVisa forum and worth sharing with the members and the public as a whole.

Let's see if you have the balls and integrity to leave it up for the other posters here to judge.

  7. PM YS and her cabinet did not ignore NACC warnings that the rice scheme was fostering corruption and causing financial losses. Measures and steps were being taken based on the warnings.

NACC should focus on supporting the effective policy implementation of a government and helping a government in fighting corruption, wrongdoings and punish farmers, traders, millers, officials and politicians caught cheating, colluding and sabotaging the scheme.

The government did not claim in anyway that rice pledging scheme is a money making scheme and without challenges. The rice scheme is to raise the living standard of rice farmer and therefore helps in boosting domestic consumption and ensuring food security. It also has a positive impact of the growth and development of related industries.

We have been focusing on problems instead of measures and steps toward successful implementation of a scheme/project - any scheme or project.

NACC should be careful of being entangled with politics.

I thought that Thai Visa had a regulation NOT to allow any politicians or lawyers to post on this site.

A little advice 'icommunity'....don't go back and read what you just wrote....it will only confuse you!

  8. He is so right, the court seem to forget about the little people who just want to move on with their lives, but are blocked to enter many government officers, face road blocks and some could no even vote because they were blocked by the peaceful protesters.

Can somebody please get that snake out of the yard....please!

It's not venomous but it is absolutely ridiculous.

    Somebody get a stick!

  9. Third party?

It is the Thai military that surrounds Suthep wherever he goes for his protection.

It is the Thai military that released the PDRC leader from the Thai police truck and it is the Thai military that is there every time Chalerm and Yingluck lie and use deadly police force against the protestors.

    1. The 'tried to be peaceful' opposition protestors deserve and need to be protected.

    2. The Thai military is all over this event and Yingluck, Chalerm and all their buddies don't have a chance in hell as it is only a matter of time.

    Lights out! Game over!

Now let's start paying those hard working rice farmers their hard earned money!

  10. It is very hard to avoid linking the judiciary into the political sphere when decisions constantly support the Opposition...One needs to look no further than a cooking show and supporting the Opposition mantra about an agricultural subsidy program....Trying to eliminate an elected PM via one or the other is same-same. They succeeded with the cooking show, so now they are trying again with some other spurious rationale......I just hope the PTP respect their majority electoral base enough to not fold in the face of this one, as the cooking show Samak did before.

But to essentially place themselves at the front lines of the coup-monger street stuff is over the top. To give Suthep and his shadowy supporters carte blanche with no concern about being challenged, is close to joining the ranks of the protesters without actually being on the street.

Good for Chalerm to face up to idiocy.

    My guess is:

    1. You don't live here in Thailand or you've been here a very short amount of time.

    2. You're an idiot!

How did I score on that one F.B.?

  11. Pookiki: I am guessing that you have been here less than 5 years if at all as you seem not to have much vested here.

As for your comment about democracy....it would be real helpful if you understood and realized that there has never been any democracy here pal.

All we little folk ask is NOT to steal too much from us!

What do you want the Thais to do....let Yingluck and Thaksin back in the government?

The money's all gone maybe she and he could ship the rest of the rice to whichever country she is going to hide after the charges of fraud and plundering are waged against her.

Is that your scenario for peace?

Yes! Let's give her another chance.

Unfortunately that is about the understanding of those that allegedly voted for her.

You just joined the crowd....the dwindling crowd.

  12. Excuse me, but are the above posts actually made by expats living in and out of Thailand?

I have been here for over 20 years and was on the front line on the night of May 17 1992 when Thai security troops under the Suchinda government opened fire at protesters gathering at Sanam Luang.

I am so proud (then and now) to see the heart of the Thai people out on the streets farmers and all.

Expats....do your homework. Do just a little research and you will find a history of a man (Thaksin) who has been a hugely corrupt and an unscrupulous and greedy parasitic megalomaniac who will NEVER be able to steal enough money from this great country.

He is a convicted criminal who has siphoned billions upon billions of baht from the Thai people and now under his own sister has completely ruined the best quality and best producing rice industry in the world!

It is gone with Cambodia winning last years Best Jasmine rice in the world award and India and Vietnam's rice harvests both out producing Thailand.

They have ruined the country and totally divided the Thai people.

For God's sake! These poor rice farmers are the very people the Shinawatra's convinced to vote for them.

Yingluck doesn't even have the integrity or consideration to even show up to appease these poor farmers and Chalerm is running scared and half mad as he knows that if the Shinawatra Regime crashes his career and life is over and that includes his alleged murdering son.

The alleged murdering son comment is simply information taken from public domain (Google it!) and should not be omitted.

Wikipedia: Chalerm Yubamrung: In 2001 Duangchalerm was arraigned for the murder of a police officer. After deserting from the Army and fleeing to Malaysia, he returned and handed himself in. He was released from jail on bail terms in 2003, and finally acquitted as the court considered the evidence insufficient and the witnesses accounts contradictory.[

Notation: In Thailand the word contradictory is often a synonym for purchasable.

Yes, it does seem that you have to organize a band of corrupt thugs to become Prime Minister in Thailand but plundering the nations funds, ruining the country while turning Thai citizen against Thai citizen and then spitting on our King is just NOT in the cards folks.......it ain't gunna happen!

Yes, Suthep has his own allegations of a corrupt history......but which one of you would walk in his shoes today....for even a minute!

The man is and will go down historically as a super hero and servant to our King and the people of Siam......want to bet?

Stand up Khun Thai! Stand up every Thai farmer that gave their rice harvest and received nothing in return!

Fight this insanely evil piece of dung and through every generation of his family out with him as they have disgraced our King, our country and the very souls of our people.

Yes, I'm white but I'm no expat!

This is my home, my King and my brothers and sisters.

Fight on and drive the snake out of the land!

Now let's turn this over again to the usual ignorant barking dogs so they can shoot their uneducated and sorry asses off!

Nicely put, but hopefully you do realise that many millions of Thai people disagree with you.

At this point....less and less everyday!

Is it funny that the rice farmers got paid 500 baht to vote for <deleted> and then lost hundreds of thousands of baht after giving their entire rice crops to Yingluck (her government and her Rice Association!).

Hopefully you do realize that there never has been a democracy here pal.

All we little folk ask is NOT to steal too much from us!
