My belief is that the filthy rock spiders should be eradicated from society. As Chooka said, in Australia they are placed in protective custody and after serving a minimum sentence, are set free to do it again. A clear and strict condition should be mandatory, "conviction of a similar offence in the future  will carry the death sentence".

But, as mentioned in posts, what if it was a stitch up by the wife? The mental torment of being falsely accused, the family and public stigma of guilty as accused regarding such a heinous crime and the destruction of the family structure forever, surely the same fate should be extended to her if found guilty.

People often get into Drugs for 2 reasons . They get hooked into an addictive habit or they want to make money , even tho if arrested we may think there isn't enough money to ruin your life , if your poor , it may not take allot to get you to be a dealer.

Now i know this may not be a popular opinion on here but making drugs illegal and the so called War on Drugs , are

just a waste of time and money. As long as there is a demand ,someone will take the chance .

The legalizing and removing the stigma ,educating people to the harm . The reasons Ganja is illegal in the USA was the big chemical plastic makers wanted the product of HEMP ,removed by tagging it as the same thing as Marijuana. Which ,smoke hemp all you want but it doesn't get you high ,a cough maybe. Another reason ,when Prohibition ended , allot of Federal agents were going to be out of a job , so they made up this small problem of Pot smoking Musicians into this demon drug that was ruining the country and leading people to take stronger drugs . And the final reason Drugs are illegal ,Big Pharma dont want these much cheaper pain killing drugs for sale ,they want people to buy their expensive drugs !

Plus ,there is so much money in the illegal drug trade ,they pay off Politicians to keep them illegal ,instead of decriminalizing and controlling the sale of all drugs by Governmental regulation ,just like tobacco and alcohol and pharmaceuticals . All this stuff at one time was for sale , until the Bad guys realized Alcohol prohibition was going to stop their boot-legging. So ,now we have the Cartels making fortunes and USA spends 6-8 Billion $ a year on the War on Drugs , that they are losing to the Dealers all over the world ! ,

If someone wants to hurt themselves or just satisfy a habit ,that should be their choice. Only with it illegal ,you create criminals who cannot afford their habit ,who steal from anybody they can . I prefer to let them hurt themselves rather then my family or friends.

I formed this opinion in the late 60's and early 70's , after a US Customs Agent told me this story that I just told you.

Take the money away from the Bad guys , legalize & educate , there is no way to win the War on Drugs but there is a way to change the game! Allot of those people are dealing not just for the profits but just like on Wall St. ,they play the game for the RUSH !

If somebody can tell me a better way to win the War on Drugs ,you should go tell all the government drug agencies ,your ideas. The number of lives ruined by Marijuana offender arrests , for as little as a joint , alone is the worse crime of all ! But it has got to be without an escalation of Violence , as the answer ! Yes, of course he was out of line. Disgraceful Russian, being drunk with his friends at that place and time while Mothers are "taking their children for a walk". Don't get me wrong, sexual harassment is wrong and should be illegal.

I've been to Davao, Boracay, Dongguan, Bangla, Patpong etc at 4 am. Walking st at that time is the worst place a mother could take her young daughter "for a walk" on the planet.

I am a Thai man and I can't even trust my own Thai gf.. Can't understand why many many farangs are willing to trust Thai ladies. I lived and still doing business in North Carolina but retire here in Thailand.

I've had about 15 trips to the region over 20 years, Patong, Pattaya and Bangkok, though somewhat on a much smaller scale, carried a similar charm as you would find today. Hat Yai, Phi Phi, Chumphon, Chiang Rai and Ko Chang were locked in time In the late 70s, early 80s, the locals were content, genuinely happy, friendly and eager to go out of their way to assist a lost traveller with no expectations in return. Pristine beaches and waterways, spectacular mountains and rain forest were standard. We were interesting people from a foreign land, locals would take it personnel to ensure a good impression was made.

Not Now, we are a source of income where the name of the game is to extract as much thb for as little as possible. Girls, Tuk Tuks drivers, ladyboys, beach operators, bus drivers, restauranteurs, hoteliers, etc, etc are of a different character today.

Always ask... 10 baht anywhere north to south 2nd road and Beach rd Pattaya, standard price.

I have witnessed 2 incidents where passengers just went out of control.

The first, about 20 years ago, We were boarding a Ansett domestic flight Sydney to Melbourne. A passenger in his late 20s who had 1 too many but looked okay until he opened his mouth, "lets get this party started, bla, bla" demanding a drink like those on the other side of the curtain. When refused and prompted to "quieten down please sir, your disturbing the other passengers", for the second time by a more than polite hostess before the doors had even been closed, his venting was then targeted on her as she disappeared behind the curtain heading towards the front of the plane which bought a response from others seated close to him, simultaneously 4 feds appeared, who told him "the captain has requested that you are to be removed from the aircraft". He went nuts, jumped out of his aisle seat screaming objections and obscenities, in the blink of an eye, he was face down in the aisle, handcuffed, assisted to his feet and frogged marched in silence off the plane. Pre flight drink all round, an apology for the disruption from the captain and off we went. Those were the days.

More recently, 4 hrs into a flight from the Gold Coast to KL. A Cock Head, on his first international flight I guess, continues to call on the hosties, "you have Flied Lice, love you long time, I like Chinese", A real arse hole. He was 12 or 15 rows in front of me and I could still hear some of the rant, he was getting worse as time went on, the couple sitting next to him had moved.

A male and female hostie were talking to the cock head and he went off, said something very upsetting to the hostess, grabbing her and pushing the male calling him a "Plick" which triggered a pre emptive move by at least 6 other passengers to restrain him, among them 2 small guys who had the least to say but had got to him first and were very active from what I could see. 5 minutes later, 2 male and 2 female hosties along with 3 flanking, I suspect were security, escorted him,with a blanket over his head and hands cable tied, to the rear of the plane. I got a glimpse of his face as he gingerly went passed in silence, it looked like he had been in a major north Queensland hail storm, there were lumps and small but severe wounds all over his face, he had 4 fat lips on 1 lip. 3 hrs later,He was escorted first off the plane by Malaysian authorities and I never saw him again. I found out from a box seat passenger who was telling a few of us in the immigration line, that the small twin brothers attacked the mans face and body with a flurry of blows in quick succession, just about every punch landed with a surprising crack, little fists like golf ball sized ball bearings thrown with surprising power and accuracy.

I try to take my manners and a bit of consideration when flying, as most do.
