The inadequecies are commonly known. Once a farang work ethic, ideals and values become known to thai women, their preference is clear. An iconic example of the male species can commonly be seen languishing around the ubiquitous motorbike stands. Why take on a deadbeat?

remember TIT:(
Yes, his "senior" status entitled him to the "suction" formality, yes the other lady is otherwise occupied with a mouthful.I'm deeply shocked. A senior officer missing out on a photo opportunity. That won't do his promotion chances any good. I wonder if the other lady is in the back room 'sorting things out'.

You know, for years I planned on retiring in Thailand, I am presently living in China, but after continuing to read countless reports of violence towards foreigners, I have changed my mind. I would rather live some place that if I have to fight, it's at least one on one, and the general feeling I get from this forum, is that Thais hate foreigners.
I am looking at retiring in Panama instead. Thailand sounds like a dangerous place to live.
If you do not speak Spanish, you will have the same problems there, or even more than western foreigners in Thailand. Most of them here have problems because cannot communicate well with Thai people or not understand how they deal in business. It is a big Chinese population in Thailand. Ask any Chinese living here about life in Thailand...not a western farang...You will get totally different input...
How is the food. And the chicks?

Yeah, they're pussies, never fight fair. always 5-8 to one at least. Look at them they're so frail like girls they could barely defend themselves otherwise.

I have added this to my Facebook page and I hope others do the same, to whatever social network you belong too. Hopefully someone has a circle of 7 that can make this article world news !
Good idea. I am doing the same.

This is not acceptable. A travesty of this magnitude signals to all thai scum they can do whatever they like and as long as they cede their wrongdoings nothing will happen to them. The judge should be removed for this grave injustice and himself be subjected to the terms he imposed(no suspension), taken out of office, and lose all entitlements associated therein. The criminal should be made to serve 5X that sentence. This injustice must be brought before a higher official or the king, and corrected. Though utterly unbelievable, I do not find this uncommon as this here is Thailand I am told!!

Following an investigation, it was surprisingly found that the woman had used her Thai National I.D. card to open the hotel room and that her identity was recorded by hotel staff. She was identified as 47 year-old Ms. Arranya Sijiam.
Dumb sex tourist, that good deal on beach rd was too good to be true Fortunately the "clever" thai hooker had left her thai ID at the counter, so the police are now her trail. Incidents like this with stupidity on both parties never cease to amaze me -like they say "this here Thailand, not same same your country" though we have our share of dumb crime too.

Most Thais still go old school, why don't you read up and enlighten her on unbiased current research. Both of you will benefit from this.
Educate yourself on the latest research: satuated fats, GMOs and omega3/omega6. You're living in the 70s. All that was driven by lobbyists and the corporate profit machine in America.Palm Oil is used everywhere in Thailand and South East Asia, It's cheap, heavy in saturated fats and not at all healthy. Olive Oil is now available at all Big C, Makro and Tesco-Lotus stores but not normally ay 7-Eleven.
Use Rape Seed Oil if you can find it as being very low in Cholesterol. Sunflower Oil is low in Cholesterol and the next best thing. you will find it at the same places.
My Thai Wife avoids Palm Oil like the plague but is well enough educated to know about these things.

I eat almost exclusively in cheapo Thai vegetarian places these days. I'm guessing that they use the cheapest palm oil, but I also eat small amounts of chicken, fish and yogurt. My cholesterol count was not bad before I started this diet, but it is excellent now. I'm not sure what that means, but i really hate cooking for myself, so glad that it seems to be healthy.
This is actually more paleo than most(and includes probiotics) and that's why you've improved. The majority of farang here in Thailand still subscribe to the old paradigms of western medicine & nutrition, that's why most are shaped like kegs
-
I agree completely here. Olive oil if you can afford it, if not, then Canola Oil. Used it in my restaurant for 7 years. Palm Oil is used here because it is so cheap. The cheapest price for Canola Oil seems to be Makro. Very affordable, and not as bad as the other choices. Best bet of course is to stop using oil.I always use Lite Olive Oil or Canola Oil.
I have always read that Palm Oil is pretty disgusting stuff, but who knows?
Fats and oils are necessary. Poor guy, still subscribes to the old USDA food pyramid. Wake up, there's new research out there
-
I cook at home but do not use a lot of oil. I use Canola oil because it contains essential omega 3 nutrients.
Then I use Coconut Cooking oil to make Dark chocolate (It is healthy) The oil is from Friendship Pattaya at B158 per liter
Canola is one of the worst you can use

Cooking with olive oil is a Common fallacy: the molecular structure of olive oil easily decomposes under heat to create trans fats which clog arteries. 90% of cholesterol is created by your own body and only becomes bad under the influence of excess carbohydrate. You should actually be more worried about the processed foods, excess grains and sugar. That's what gives the preponderance of westerners(farangs) that envious apple physique after 35-40.Palm oil - which is extremely bad for your cholesterol. Cook at home with rice bran oil (cheap and healthy) or olive oil (expensive and healthy).

One of the charms of Thai people is their 'no worries' and 'live for the moment' attitude and never once think of the consequences. It must come from Buddhist teachings and belief in Karma and reincarnation.
Yeah f%^^*% it!! Maybe they be an ant next time around and not have about anything.

4 dead and the denziens of thaivisa take the story to revel in their smug superiority. It is truly pathetic in its own right
Yes but the fact they are here today penning remarks. this attests to their superior forethought in not getting drunk and going for a ride while dancing on a moving truck

Ah the natural law of genetic selection at work. Again, glad there were no injuries to non participants. You just hope one of these doesn't accidentally take you out during their demise.

You would hope, but most likely, he is a career criminal, yaba addict, lazy and no count. Sad but true. The culture propagates this.If he is telling the truth I hope the courts are sympathetic and give him a chance to make things right,
Has anyone seen/heard a Thai male - farang female couple?

Yeah they thought they were in the frying pan, now they've got another responsibility they must pay for. Whose complaining about overweight middle aged farang ladies? Lol
