Should also add that after 61k km it sounds better than ever.
Air and oil filter, oil, always changed at the 6k km services. Cables lubed and Spark plug, tires, pads, fluids etc. always changed pre-emptively.

Residents in 27 communities in 13 Bangkok districts have been warned to be on alert for flooding as the Chao Phraya River is rising.
Good to see them list them.
I recently moved to See Kan, close to Don Muang airport and I would be interested in just how likely it is, and from what source (canal name etc. so I can check it out with my own eyes).

You won't get much. Keep it simple with a air filter, fuel controller and pipe. These will probably cost you 20-25% of the cost of the bike and give you around 10% more power.
Probably better to just get more bike. Look at used CBX 500's or even Er-6n's. Depending on just how rough the terrain you want to ride is.
I would probably sell it, and put the mod money into getting a used cbx.
Of course the used market now is certainly not a seller's market.

I once paid 1,900b for an extension and at the end of the process she asked me for it again. I said that I gave it to you 10 minutes ago. After 20 mins of her (they) looking it ended up that I had paid it and they found it.
Just a busy day and a lot of work for someone whom multi-tasking involves existing and thinking at the same time.

But there is no questioning the quality of the Suzuki products.....well from me anyway!
Jap made. Tried and tested.
Beats Thai made. Untried and untested. Any day.
If they have decent, competent service centers with staff that actually know and care it will be like a beam of light coming down from the heavens.

Great to see.
The Gladius might actually be a bike I'd consider upgrading to depending on how it rides in the city.
The Inazuma 250 could be a bit of a miss, it looks like an upgraded Tiger Boxer.

Drop it off in Sumet for a few days and enjoy a break in BKK.

The little CBR definitely needs to spread its wings every now and again.
I remember during a long break in it felt great after a long day ride where it had sat on WOT for a few hours on end. Others around the World were saying the same thing.
After 6 months of not venturing off Viphawadee-Rangsit during rush-hour I actually got to take it out for an 8 hour spin 10 days ago. The first time it saw over 130kph for 6 months. Had it pinned open for probably 3-4 hours. Since then it has felt really tight and responsive.
Strange, but good.
Bike has over 60k km on it, and hasn't got to stretch it's legs in anyway for probably the last 7000km. A good decent topspeed run for a few hours has certainly helped it.

What were the parents doing while their children played in 30cm of floodwater next to a field covered in 4 meters of floodwater, on a road where military trucks (and presumably other heavy vehicles) pass?

The styling is definitely a little bit different, in a bland sense.
If they firmly beat everybody else on price they may well be competitive.
Perhaps even just having unbeatable financing deals might be enough to succeed in the Thai market.
