  1. I know that OP didn't ask this but PLEASE PLEASE do not have suits made in Thailand sick.gif

No matter where you go and what you buy it just is not going to have the styling that is considered fashionable in developed countries. If you must! then my suggestion would be to buy an off the rack suit in Europe/USA etc that is a bit bigger than what you need, then have it altered to your body shape in Thailand.

For the person that is paying 1000-1500 thb in BKK... sounds quite expensive. I think I pay half that for egyptian cotton (2-ply)

Even the stuff I got made at Rajas (incl egyptian cotton shirts) pales in comparison to the stuff I bought in OZ and UK .. both are 2ply egyptian cotton. Check out rhodes and beckett or Duchamp to get an idea what I Am talking about.

  2. Hi drx13 - where did they respond? on here?

personally, the trainer's gender or sexuality is not my concern - as long as they are good trainers, and reasonable priced...

    @pattaya_girl - sent you a PM back

  3. well I am not racist, but if as a race they generally give off a behavior that I dont care much for (or they actually do things that stop me from having my fun) then yeah I rather not have them around... we are all entitled to our opinion and preferences. The chinese never bothered me .. the russians do - they are loud, get drunk, and cause trouble and fights. Their lack of an ability to blend in makes things worse for them. Sure other cultures are also guilty of the same but personally in all my travels .. never had a problem generally with English, Irish, etc.

  4. anyone know how to get to Castra on the cheap. I live near Diana inn (near the avenue shopping centre) and don't have private transport. I don't wan to pay for private moto taxi (how much would that cost) can I use a combination of baht buses to get close to the gym and then walk?

  5. I am looking for the same - a personal trainer to train me for 3-4 times a week whenever I visit Pattaya (3-4 weeks at a time). Ideally, on some baht bus route (even Jomtien is fine). I usually live near central festival.

Castra gym has personal trainer and reasonable prices but very hard to get to

  6. I admit, embarrassed, been many times, under the influence of alcohol, that I have been forced to have sex or take part in physical affection, by women with women. In my sober state I never would have with them and infact, to many of them, I have rejected them for months. But like men, they wait for the opportune moment to attack while I am drunk.

I wake up, embarassed and get on with life. I am an adult and take responsibility for my decisions and actions.

It took many steps and events, most while i was sober, that lead to me being in that bed with that woman. Same with this girl and her father. Many incorrect decisions where made prior to this 'rape' happening that is the only thing we know for sure. The rest are just stories and interpretations of what really happened.

Conversely, when completely drunk women starting making out with me I hv to politely refuse.

  7. Funny thing, Americans too understand money, BUT Americans do not have the courage the Thais have. Americans prefere to sit at home and let an illegal become dictator and destroy the country

George Bush was an illegal?? But you are absolutely right he single handedly destroyed USA and many other parts of the world while Americans sat back brainwashed by scaremongering .. which eventually became a self fulfilling prophecy.

Good on these other country's citizens for having the guts to stand up for justice.

  8. and you are the only one who ever does this and you have no access to the web to see how other people do, come on you need to upgrade you advertising a little.

    huh? I don't get it

it's a fair question to ask on this forum. Finding the right payment gatewway can be a maze sometimes. A lot of questions on this forum can be answered from searching google....

    OP - try citruspay, epayworx

power to people who are trying to find paypal alternatives, keeps the payment gateway competition healthy and stops a monopoly from being created

  9. But in sending, don't use the ocean freight or surface service by post. My parcels to Peru which are 4 cartons are exactly 3 months today, November 29 and the consignee has not receive any. I mailed them August 29.

I emailed the main post office and a month is already gone but until now they have no information as to supply me where the parcels are now.

Peru is one of the worst countries for postage. I remember living there and wanting to send a letter to India and they wanted sooo much money that I said I will wait till I go to the US to send. So add two really bad service oriented together (Peru and Thailand) .... and you have a mess. Sending my stuff by sea from UK to Australia took almost 3 months ... so there is still hope for your shipment facepalm.gif

  10. "The reality is that few, if any, Thai surgeons will have experience of the surgery you seek.

In case you have not noticed Thailand is not populated by obese people with "excess skin" who would need this kind of extensive surgery !"

Incase you haven't noticed, it is not the thai that frequent gogo bars and working girls - that does not stop thailand and thais from offering the service wai2.gif and being the best in the world at it!

  11. so my search in Thailand was a dead-end .. no one in Thailand is truly qualified for such operations. Even the ones that had a price quoted on their website (some of the big names do I think) were quoting pretty much the same price +/- 20% (about $8,000USD) as a super specialist in USA who has written books on the topic + lectures and 100s of +ve reviews on websites. So the decision is clear .. need to go to US to get it right. Sure the after-care prices will be a killer wacko.png but atleast I know I will be operated on a specialist who is transparent and well reviewed (as opposed to surgeons in Thailand that are no names or have absolutely no REAL reviews). Then I will come to Thailand once 6 weeks have passed after the operation to holiday....

  12. Thailand is all about saving face. Image is the most important thing in thai culture. She made him look bad and his culture demanded revenge. Not unlike in India where a man will kill his wife for asking for a divorce or a Muslim father will kill a daughter if she marries a Christian or embarrasses the family.

I do not think it is about saving face. It's just pure jealousy. How can time in prison be 'saving face' ...

It's not about "culture". But a madman who can't control his feelings.

    This exist in all countries.

I completely agree. I think crime is a lot worse in other countries like America and Africa. It is a madman's doing and nothing to with it being Thailand

  13. I also agree. Having lived in Thailand and being a keen clothes designer, I have NEVER EVER been happy with a tailored suit in Thailand (or in India and Vietnam for that matter). They just cannot match off the rack suits from the above mentioned brands (my fav being Armani and Boss). IMHO, the best way to go forward is buy a loose fitting design off the rack suit and then take it to one of these countries to have it altered to fit your body. That is what I do for all my suits and shirts now and am very happy with the outcome every time.

  14. why can't people stay on topic .. bah.gif

not looking for motherly advice nor am I contemplating the pros and cons ... otherwise I would have said 'I am think of getting xyz procedure .. has anyone had it done and can let me know if it is good or not

over on realself tummy tuck and body lift have a satisfaction rating of around 98% compared to 70% for liposuction. WOAH .. that does not open the gate on this topic to explain to me the differences between the two. I have spent 3-4 years researching the topic and already had 3 lipo procedures .. it was a waste of money because the issue is lose skin not necessarily "fattness". I am at about 18% BF (tested using many methods) and my bmi is 28 ... for people that understand what it means .. it means I am super muscly (I am a body builder) and actually very athletic. None of this resolves skin issues and fat cells left over from when I was obese as a teenager

just looking for surgeon/hospital recommendations ... not for a sermon thumbsup.gif
