    • Select your unit and pay THB 100,000 reservation fee to secure your 20 year visa.
    • Submit your Thailand Elite Application together with a copy of your passport (Certified True Copy) and 2 current photos, size 2” inches.
    • Wait 5 - 14 days working for your application to be approved.
    • After background approval is received, make the contract payment and sign the Sell and Purchase Agreement (SPA).

    Does the Thailand Elite visa allow foreigners to work in Thailand?

    No, Thailand Elite visa is classified as a special tourist visa. A foreigner holding or seeking a work permit is not recommended to apply for Thailand Elite visa in order to obtain / renew their work permit.

    Where can Thailand Elite members have their visa arranged?

    The 5 years Thailand Elite visa can be arranged:

    • Upon arrival, at Suvarnabhumi, Phuket or Chiangmai International Airports.
    • If member is already staying in Thailand, they can apply for the visa only at Cheangwattana Immigration Office and Thailand Elite staff can accompany the member to assist with the process, consider using EPL Service. (Depend what type of visa member is holding before getting Elite affix)

    Can Thailand Elite members transfer their membership?

    Yes, a one-time transfer to a third party for the property program is permitted but Thailand Elite membership and ownership of the property must be transferred together. The transfer fee is 20% of prevailing rate inclusive of VAT. Thailand Elite membership and ownership of the property cannot be separated.

    Can additional Thailand Elite memberships be included with the purchase of the condominium?

    Yes, a maximum of two memberships per unit applies at an additional charge of THB 500,000. The second member name must appear as a co-owner on the SPA and title deed.

    Can I obtain additional Memberships for my family?

    The minimum age requirement for membership is 20 years old. Therefore, a spouse or child that meets this requirement can be a co-buyer of the unit and pay the additional THB 500,000 charge in accordance with the other conditions stated above.

    As with any visa issued in Thailand, children below the age of 14 are included on terms of the visa of their accompanying parent(s). Children above the age of 14 would need to apply for their own visa. If they attend the appropriate educational institution, they can apply for an education visa.

    Would there be any effect when there is a change in the Thai Government?

    No, Thailand Elite program was originally implemented by the Thai government and while there have been many changes in government over the 12 years since the program was initiated; the visa continues to be granted by Immigration authorities. The visa is granted and permitted by law.
