HI everybody

Plese tell me how can I do

I (Japanese) just come back from visa run company in Phuket.

I have been in Phuket since November 2011

MY visa record: 3 W T/R visa 3 S T/R VISA

visa exceptions 6 times since last Nov in my passport

I am applying to ED visa, but ministry of ED needs time over 1 month to give me a permission

so, I must stay Thailand 2 or 3 month, after get a paper work of permission, go to Penang to get ED visa.

【Problems】

Visa run company told me Penang consulate givesT/R visa us only 2 times,

so not good for me

Visa run to Ranong is not available for me (over record)

Visa run to Satun-Lankhawi (Maleysia)is still OK for me,but not sure for 2 times and more

【My option】

A. Go to Vien Charn to take a T/R visa with Bank report and Adress certificate

B. Go back to Japan to renew my passport ,after that go to Penang to get T/R visa

C. Visa run to Satun 2 or 3 times

D. Any other

PHUKET: Tourists who can prove that they are genuinely staying only short-term while travelling in Thailand will be allowed to leave on “visa-runs” and re-enter the country, Immigration Commissioner Pharnu Kerdlarpphon confirmed to the Phuket Gazette.

“Genuine tourists are fine. All they have to do is prove to the immigration officer at the border checkpoint that they really are tourists by presenting evidence such as their travel itinerary, hotel booking, tour bookings and any other documents to prove their travel in Thailand is genuine,” Lt Gen Pharnu said on Wednesday.

“Then they will be allowed to re-enter the country.”

Gen Pharnu clarified the focus of the new immigration regulation, which allows most foreigners to enter the country only once using visa-exempt status.

Satun(Thailand)-Lang Khaui(Malaysia)border has no problem

I did the land border visa run to PoiPet from bangkok last month on Nov 7 and it worked great and I got 30 days. Has anybody done a land visa run from Pattaya and gotten the 30 days? When I checked with a few Pattaya companies and the ones here in Phuket where I am now, they seem to still be unaware of it. The lady here in Phuket says Burma only 15 days, but I know she did not look into the matter.

I received a double entry tourist visa in Yangon, Myanmar, this July. The procedure was very simple, you don't need all those documents that are listed on their website (I guess it is just for Myanmar citizens).

I gave an application form, photos, copies of air tickets for travelling in and out of Thailand and that was all.

Just remember that you will need a Myanmar visa to go into the country or can arrange for visa on arrival.

How many ticket you show to take double entry visa,and how many visa have you take before apply at Yangon?

The ticket out can be at any time during the 6 months of visa validity. This from a recent report.

I got an information from Japanese BBS,but info is pretty old

A Japanese man told us that Jakarta and Bali give us a triple entry tourist visa (6 months ok)

He also told us, needs 3 days to get a visa. if apply on Monday pick up on Wendsday

Anybody has experience getting a triple tourist visa in Indonesia 2013?

I have three single entry tourist visa and three double entry tourist visa back to back already in my passport

I think Penang is the best place for you.They give you a visa quickly. apply and take same day.

High travel season is just started,so many people go to Vienchan to take a visa and waiting time will be very long

I hold a Japanese passport with 3 (consecutive) single entry tourist visas and 3(consecutive) double entry tourist visas which I got in Penang and Vientiane.

Last time (August 2013) I applied double entry tourist at Vienchan, but they refused a double entry visa and gave me a single entry visa

According to the Japanese reporter who live in Mukdaharn ,

He had been visa run to Laos for 13 months back to back ,crossing border 26 times with no visa

He had no problem, However, he was refused to apply single entry tourist visa at Savannakhet after crossing border 26 times with no visa.

Finally, he had to go to Vienchan to get a single entry tourist visa, and he got a single entry tourist visa.
