considering the number of derailments and crashes the trains have been having lately, I'd think getting the passengers drunk would be a good idea
I kindly suggest you think again.
no I believe I'll stick to this thought

Democracy, grammar all rules We don't need no stinking rules!
Yeah, I know those thoughts. Me and most of my classmates thought so, during our
rebellious teenage and student years BUT being a lot older now, I understand very
well, humans are not considerate and compassionate enough to be able to live a social
life without having rules.
Off course, the more complex our society is, the more rules there will need to be.
Stating that we don't need no rules, is pretty immature.
As much we might disagree with those stinking rules, we still DO need rules!!
You and your classmates thought that up all on your own did you? Maybe you should have thought it all the way through and realized that all the "rules" do is keep the general population in line as the ones in power making your cherished rules bend them and break them at will without fear of consequences. Perhaps in a society which at least does lipservice to the concept of eglitarianism you might have a point, but here in the enchanted kingdom were elitism has been raised to a near religious fervor you are really out of your depth. Maybe you and your classmates should reconsider your conclusions.

Thing is? How can anybody, [heads not in sand], on this Planet, STILL, believe in democrazy??? screw your [if it worked the way it was supposed to,,, BLAH blah Blah] Thing is! It's not capable, by Design, of proper function.
& your [Well if it had good leaders]??? ,,, blah Blah blah. Same/Same with autocracies, communism, even anarchy.
They would ALL be great, maybe even as civilized as bee hives {IF} the right people were running them. *CanNOT happen, System Flaws prevent.
Truth is? Every Governing System we have, ever, been Subjects of, ALL of Them, Rely on DUMB luck as to who will sit in those rooms where all the Monies flow.
Truth is! We are capable of Designing Corruption-proof political architecture. I've gone ahead and done it.
Leadership CAN be by Experience, Competence, Fairness, ;;; by Design!!!;; and Our Tax Monies CAN be kept out of the pockets of the Corrupt.
It seems like you've not only lost faith in democracy, but in grammar as well.

Because of people like you, apparently we do. Chaos is not the answer.
Really? Can you demonstrate any proof to that statement? I mean things are working so well right now and all

Does that mean Thailand will use secrete agents licensed to kill? Probably will cause a big diplomatic issue with the Emiraties as it is not good for business when one of their guests gets done in...
And what we'll have a Thai-arab war?? Now that would be a thing to see.
-
Getting very SILLY now!
Absolutely, let's get back to the "Kill 'em all" idea
-
A death sentance seems a little over the top. Thailand already has in place laws and fines for corruption for those giving and those receiving. The fines, prison terms could stand some tweaking, but the asset seizure part (already in place) will get all parties attention.
Now if you want the latter to even start to work you have to compensate and protect the whistle blowers, snitches, or what ever name you use. Then just to eliminate the driver, butler, maid being assigned the asset, ban for life any political activity/office as well as any government paid, approved or financed business. Money, wealth is the god these people worship, set a few examples by making them and all family member, paupers and the first battle of the war will be won.
That's an excellent idea but a bit complex. Kill them all is beautiful in it's simpplicity, so let's stick with that
-
All politicians are corrupt ergo just kill them all seems like the best idea.

To all of you, who have responded negatively to this topic, please be aware that you are all guests in this country, and you should behave accordingly. If you do not feel comfortable her, no one keeps you, and I am sure most Thais wouldn't mind if you returned to your home country.
.
I have to disagree!
I am not a guest here, I am a sponsor and would like to betreated like one.
Good luck with that, it ain't never gonna happen and you know what Misab? There's a whole lot of Thais are most definitly going to mind when I go back home next week but that's just the way it goes!

Just wait till Myanmar is discovered, unspoilt beaches!
And the landmines for free

They have another nominee, and are we supposed to be surprised? Let's face it there's a neverending line of chinese gangsters ready to jump into the driver's seat, it's always been that way and always will be
-
Best possible solution the army comes out and takes over. Sorry but things were a lot better back in the day when the military were running the show here
-
Haven't you figured it out yet? They don't want us here, that's the bottom line. Oh sure there are Thais who are fine about it but society at large and the government in particular don't want to see us here at all. Deal with it

When I first arrived in Thailand you could buy speed over the counter in any drug store a few years later the government in it's wisedom decided to make it ilegal. If the past 20 years the goverment's "war on drugs " has increased the consumption of this product by thousands of percent. So yeah I would say going back to legal sales of a controlled product would make a fair bit of sense. As to guns well that's another topic altogether.
