I am not gay, but I'll try anything once.
I always wanted to be gay for a day
Make it two days, at least, you'll have the night in between.
A more 'complete' experience...

May I ask that the Mods show some reaction, either by doing what I consider is the correct thing, closing these threads, or at least posting their reasons for allowing this nonsense to continue.
What is Thomas thinking?
Since he was the one starting this thread as well as posting the remark (in another thread) Totster just posted here .

Seems more appropriate in this thread....

We are slowly reaching 'Lost Souls' hours...
-
Yes I am! But well, I went there only once and loved the atmosphere (even though I was in a foul mood ). There were only a few Thais there. So, I hope it still does qualify.
From what I can see from their website, there are no girls at all...

With Thomas Merton as your hero, maybe YOU are the lost soul?
He was an American.
Thomas Merton, known in the monastery as Fr. Louis, was born on 31 January 1915 in Prades, southern France.
Merton died by accidental electrocution in Bangkok, Thailand.
Not related to the topic but well, anyway, what is the topic?

En résumé, I agree with the girl who tried to convince you to go there: the best and cheapest wine bar I tried in Bangkok (there maybe better ones, but I haven't found them yet).
Maybe one of these days, we should organize a TV pissup there.
With all the wine lovers.
I'm one of them and the good Dr. is also, I think.

Do they have any decent food at the Black Swan?
Not sure about the food. I only had quite a few drinks there. Ricky Vaughn (from Virgin Radio Thailand) is DJing there too.
Geez, if you go there, LC, it does not qualify anymore as a suitable place for the starter of this thread.
Aren't you Thai...?

Nice talking to you too. Heheh. Do I know you from somewhere?
Maybe, but please, do not tell Pat.
And by the way, I liked your story , even it is one most farangs here experienced...

Tommy, I believe the good Dr is probably asleep, look tommy try this link, it will keep you occupied for hours.
My Mum always said, never trust a girl who offers you strange links.
Right, Thomas, never trust a girl, anyway...

I did not read the whole thread, just your question.
Thai people can not stay alone. So, they will all stay together wherever they go.
I agree it is cheaper but not really what the farang has in mind...
Please read the 'Thai Fever' book...
Wow... Maybe you should read the tread, and not just post in order to get your number up... 77 so far in 5 days? Are you on a mission?
No, I'm not but are you?
I just read the whole thread and what I learned I prefer not to comment about it.
But anyway, nice talking to you, Peder...
-
Well, I suppose I could go and make another sandwhich.
Right, is the one on death row entitled to a meal of his choice?
Yes he is.
What's your choice, Will...

( teach ) her and show her ( face ) of real life by acting at least for few minute as gentleman , example instead of few bhat tip or with few bhat tip , live in table a reasonable Thai book or talk to she about respect full life or one way or other open she’s eye to a greater world then gogo bar and pub .or help she is family quietly out of bar , . TIZ ME have to look more deep to all this economical and political agenda of Thai government for there people and country .. to day world is come very close to each other , there’s no more east and west , to day if thai people have control of there own life , you never see a falang in all Thailand accept same . like you never find a English word in thai man pocket . the rest who tray to talk about fake and not fake or my personal id .. I request pleas ; focus your mind to subject ,,
Please, can you separate one sentence from another?
And I'm sure we will come back with a smart answer...

just looking at the title makes me laugh, no doubt this will get viewed a lot
The question i have is:- I return to Pattaya to pick my fiance up and take her to the UK shortly.
Before she goes, her sister and a friend are coming to see us. Her sister is coming from bangkok and i think her friend is too (not sure), i will be stopping at the sabai lodge. I have offered to pay for a room for them to stop for a couple of days. After reading previous posts, i understand thai's stopping in a room alone may be a problem. do you think i will have a problem with this??
They could always stop with me and the missus (they are both stunners)
I dont mind honest!!!!

At least put some sort of smiley face there or you'll be misunderstood as being cruel.
Maybe he is not being misunderstood at all....

Come on, Tots, it was not Thai, it was Lao, I think...
Maybe it was... Thao... he he
totster
It sure was, Tots.
We've got some edge on the rest of the forum, we're the only two in the world speaking Thao.
We'll make a fortune soon...

Does anyone smell a wild cat ?
so anyway tommy, in the above post you have the thread title and this post has the initial posters question, I feel sure that you can explain the ins and outs of this topic to us newbies, and then explain to us where it went off topic so us newbies do not repeat that nasty mistake again..
waiting in anticipation; thai norman.
I would not have said it better, Norman.
