By reading just a few threads, it always gives an idea that farangs are usually ignored.

Applying western standards in an Asian environment never works! You are thinking about a highway code, it doesnt exist, the only rule here is ........dont get killed and try not to kill, try being the operative word......everything else is "mai pen rai "......oh and how much can I make ?

Constitution Day is not one of the booze ban days. As theoldgit says, Malls are open everyday. Banks maybe closed. Constitution Day celebrates the first Thai constitution after absolute rule in the '30's., but as the current constitution is laughably undemocratic, it passes largely unnoticed except by the ruling elite who like to pretend this country is democratic.

Lets hope that the Reds will not do anything stupid on that day.

Will malls be open on that day?
