  1. There was just an explosion right near the entrance to the stadium

Followed by lots of cheering and yelling and a plume of dark smoke

Then a few ambulance went by ...

Red means war ... they came for it ... and got it

    Stay safe mate.

Any way you can substantiate any of Magenta2013 insane claims that it is all coming from the students including shooting themselves as a form of propaganda?

After all.... you are our 'man on the ground' as opposed to this huge network of 'friends' that magenta2013 seems to have placed in key monitoring locations around Thailand.

  2. Good news - Yingluck tells solidiers not to carry weapons and certainly no "live rounds". Unarmed.

Unlike Suthep and Abhisit - now those 2 have a Criminal Court appointment on 12th December 2013 on the murder charges.

Amid growing tension & reports of violence, government asked military to guard key locations in Bangkok tonight. Soldiers will be unarmed.

Glad to see that also the red shirts are unarmed, as usual

Yes, notice its past tense - towards where the fight TOOK place.

They were attacked by violent anti-government thugs and so have to be prepared to take defensive action against these violent Democrat/Yellow/PAD thugs under the command of Suthep.

There was no mention of the use of weapons during the fight, keep in mind that the fight was Red shirts ( adults ) against students ( teenagers ) .

Going out from the amount of weapons I can see in the picture, held by a person who comes out of the stadium, indicates that the red shirts have a weapon arsenal inside the stadium. AS USUAL.

Yes, and we all remember when the police actually handed all their weapons including helmets, shields and machine guns and pistols to the red shirts.

Then they all gripe about being shot when the army who are actually trained in combat retailiated to their attempt to start a civil war by trying to take out the army.

    morons.

If they end up losing more people this time round, then they have Jutaporn and their own lack of intelligence to blame.

  3. Confirmation of the disgusting anti-government violent thugs actions earlier today with the bus attack.

    Kaewmala ‏@Thai_Talk 3m

Daily News reports 3 injured in bus attack. Bus was carrying around 30 red shirts to rally at Rajmangla Stadium. http://www.dailynews.co.th/Content.do?contentId=198720

Good to see the pro-government supporters massively more than anti-government, and also they are assembled peacefully in the stadium.

Must be a 500 baht. Day poster.

    Sad, sad, sad.....

    Yeah man.

    he must be totally broke.

Go back to your spaceship magenta2013 you people are waiting for you.

  4. Just had a call from Surat Thani - people being offered 500 baht to go to Bangkok to support Suthep and his anti-government protests.

Rent a crowd again by the PAD/Yellows it seems.

    Lol... give it up.

Everyone on here knows that you are just talking <deleted>. Even those of the red side of the fence know you are talking crapolla.

You are wasting your time here, we are not stupid. My wife's brother is there, he says there are lots of people joining each rally at all the different sites, and has said that for the past 3 weeks he has been at the rallies, not a single baht has been seen to change hands, or any offers made.

But you just go and chat with your spies that you have placed at Surat Thani and let the adults have a discussion without your silly soundbites.

If you had said any other place, the credibility may have increased by 5%... but you had to use Surat Thani didn't you.

    Hahahahaha

  5. Oh, <deleted>...calm down! All of you!

    Lol....

    Embarrassed are ya?

You should not go supporting violent thugs then should you.

    Yeah right. Please elaborate!

Oh, <deleted>...calm down! All of you!

You posted that within 10 minutes of the OP being posted,

There were only a couple of replies, so you clearly wanted to preempt what was obviously going to be the tone.

    What instigated these feelings?

    Embarrassment?

  6. Presently Sutheps anti-government protestors number around 5,000 in total spread all over different area's.

Red shirts at the stadium now around 70,000.

This is why Sutheps mobs are getting violent, they are losing, losing face and Sutheps and Abhisit 12th December appointment with the Criminal Court for charges of murder gets ever closer. The people who support the government far outnumber those who are against it.

So now the Suthep/Yellow/PAD mobs are getting more and more violent, just like they did in the past when seizing airports - dead body found at Don Muang - everyone remember that.

Violent thugs, thats all they are.

They did have some moral high ground after the reds in 2010 - now they have none. They are a disgusting bunch of thugs who are totally against Democracy.

I just let my Thai wife read this..... her only reply was...... Idiot!

  7. Jutuporns rhetoric has spawned the violence and one can but only suppose that lessons have been learnt from the Red shirt movements in 2010, how long before L.P.G. tankers are parked into strategic areas and round housing complexes ?

Sadly tempers run high in civil disturbances as I well know having been involved in keeping sides apart in the past, common sense flies out of the window when rhetoric from protest leaders condones or suggest force might or in fact will used to settle the possession of certain areas. interesting to note though that as usual those proponents of vigorous physical action are far from the scene of conflict and surrounded by a cordon of defenders unlike the front line protesters.

'Twould be interesting to se the reaction of those involved in this current violence if those gendarmes who were policing demonstrations on the Parisian Left Bank were to appear on the scene swinging their famous or infamous lead weighted capes around them.

Didn't half make the fillings in your teeth rattle if you got a clout round the ear from one of those capes.w00t.gif

In my opinion Jutuporn has incited violence and actions where there was no indication of such activities prior to his inflammatory remarks and his suggested actions..

I just can't see how Jatuporn can be blamed for this. There were rumours that students might try to prevent red shirt buses coming in earlier. So Jatuporn in his typical firebrand nak leng style clearly says, if students don't block protesters, there won't be any trouble. So what do the students do? They attack protesters trying to enter the stadium. And this is Jatuporn's fault? He didn't say they couldn't have the area around the university, he was just claiming the right for reds to peacefully enter the stadium.

You're also aware that at least four red shirts have been attacked by technical students unprovoked when leaving stadium during the past week right? I'd imagine Jatuporn spoke partly in response to that too.

    georgehenton @georgehenton 5m

Bus full of people just attacked by students for about 10 minutes. All windows smashed. People inside very shaken. It sped off.

From what I am reading and seeing in twitter, there are plenty of elderly and children in the red camp.... brought in as human shields perhaps?

They do have a history of it don't they?

  8. Jatuporn seems ignorant of Thai history. He should not underestimate Thai students when they are politically motivated. It was Ramkhamhaeng students that caused the final blow off in the 1992 political crisis by barricading themselves in their campus and refusing to back down even when the army moved tanks into position in front of them. They clearly would have stood their ground and been slaughtered, if the King hadn't intervened that night. In 1976 Thammasat students stood up to the military and were shot, beaten to death, raped and hanged, while the survivors fled to the jungles to save their lives. In 1973 Thai students fought on in the face of helicopter gunships and fought heavily armed police until all were dead.

Thai students have been sleeping politically for over 20 years but now they are awake and will not go back to sleep easily. They will fight for proper democracy that forces elected representatives to respect the rule of law because it is for their future.

Jatuporn, Nattuwut, Veera and all the other paid Southern lackeys leading the red shirts should take a reality check by visiting their native South and find out how much they are really loved by their own people down there.

Jatuporn was a Ramkhamhaeng student leader and was one of the last people on the stage in 1992 when the bullets started flying, so I doubt he's ignorant of that particular slice of history. Thida, Weng and other red shirt leaders and no doubt some of those in the red shirt crowd were present during the demonstrations in 73, 76 and 92 also, and these stories are often told on the stage. Also it wasn't the military in 76. They were just co-ordinating things in the background. Those who actually took part in the massacre included royalist vigilantes comprised of Village Scouts (rural villagers and urban right-wing bourgeoise) and Red Gaur (technical students and high school drop outs), who were lead & encouraged by the Nawapon (a shadowy right-wing organisation which involved many of the old elites) and the Border Police.

Unfortunately, I believe these particular RU students now stand against the very parliamentary democracy which you so rightly point out students have fought and died for in the past. And for some reason they seem to be deliberately trying to provoke red shirts:

    Jack Kurtz @photogjack 2h

#bangkok bottles being thrown at Red Shirts at Rajamangala stadium. Throwers appear to be anti-govt students.

    L. Suwanrumpha @TheLilyfish 2h

Ramkamhaeng students just chased, beat Red Shirt down main road. Confrontation over now.

    georgehenton @georgehenton 2h

Group just chased red shirt down road. Hitting him with sticks. He has now got away. Protester leaders trying to pull people back.

Is it any wonder that the students have their backs up>

You can blame Jutaporn for that. He is doing his best to instigate problems, and the students won't take his threats kindly.

Jutaporn is throwing down an invitation to confront the reds by intimating that the student protesters will get their <deleted> kicked by their 'battled hardened' rebels. That is just designed to rile them.

If there ends up a bloody free for all riot, then Jutaporn is totally to blame, because he is now on public record to have inflamed a situation. The night is very early and the beer is not down the throat yet and it is Saturday night..... He even chose his optimum time to lay down his invitation.

  9. A unidentified source from the Prime Minister's security team is/was the source of this, 'Rumor'.???? Forgive me for being a 'doubting Thomas', but the history of this family.s "truthful information" proganda groups has about as much credibility as some of the Prime minister and her Cabinet member promises. Assination attempts, beheadings, make you wealthly, no corruption, we have made your life better, etc.

The low point of any humans life is when. they are willing to donate a offspring/sibling for their own gain, be it financial, political, or social. In the Shin family's case they have all three avenues.

The decision to use her own son in a propaganda game could have actually just given the red shirts an idea to bring fury down on the peace loving protesters. Way to go.... you probably HAVE made this kid a target now.

Bomb threat my arse.... The police would have to have notified the school who would have had to inform all the parents who definitely would have withdrawn every child from the school and the press would have been all over that story.

The police are about as low as you can get with this desperate attempt to inflame a situation that is already very tense. Shameful as it gets folks.

  10. If Yingluck really wants to be judged by her achievements....

    Then she really MUST GO!

All her 'achievements' as she puts it, are all well and truly in the negative and a threat to the entire nation and its economy.

Everything that is in the positive side of the balance sheet are all the achievements (as usual) of the 'Elite' The very people who are allegedly despised by Yingluck and all her voters.

Yingluck...... Stop trying to steal credit from the achievements of your sworn enemies.

  11. People power in action, the government should call on their red thugs to act in a peacefull and civil manner as Suthep has done. The PTP's silence demonstrates their compliance with these violent and anti social actions.

They don't know the meaning of the word 'peaceful'. They will only get worse.

The government has bit its lip and not used force because the anti-government protests have been largely well behaved knowing that violence would be the catalyst for a coup and an eventual overthrow which is the last thing they want to happen.

Yet these brain dead red shirted morons have proved time and again that they know only one method and that is to create violence wherever they are. Which is just another confirmation that it was probably their own stupid fault they ended up being shot at in 2010.

They need to take a deep breath and think about that their actions will end up playing right into the hands of the anti-gov protesters, and they will end up with having the blame put on THEM.

The PTP and Thakluck need to start issuing statements warning the red shirts explicitly to stop what they are doing and that it is actually very counter productive.
