Buy it at Pratunam shop, order it online if you cannot go, no question asked, they do not care, this is new Thailand, and anybody thinking that you take a risk by using THC without prescription is a balless idiot.

Thanks, do you know what this is? or how i can contact them?

  2. Hello,
I have been prescribed Clonazepam for some time now from the doctors here, it was originally prescribed for chronic insomnia and other issues.

In the UK I would normally replace that with THC, I find the side affects of the pills I am on very bad bringing on alot of other things I did not have before I now have, I have been searching for some THC oils so I can throw these pills in the bin as they are starting to get on top of me after years of taking them. I have been told by the doctor to slowly taper off them which I plan on doing, question is, I have heard about THC clinics in Bangkok and also have heard about clinics in other cities which can prescribe you THC oil. Does anyone know if Bangkok still has the THC clinic and if I would need to go through a process? if so what process?

Am I able to go to any other hospitals (I live in buriram) and be prescribed such or is this simply not possible for falang?

    Thanks alot

  3. Hello,

I am going to extend my none O visa, usually I have to do this in Maha Sarakham,

I am currently in Buriram, is it possible I can get the extension here? A few friends have told me and I read some news sources (not sure which news is true or not these days) who said I can go to any immigration office in my case that would be just a 10 min ride to Buriram, however is this even true?

    Thanks

You can extend for 60 days. Your son must go with you when you apply. You must go to the immigration office of the area in which you live, generally as indicated on the most recent TM30 that was submitted.

Hello, thanks for your reply, i have never needed to take my son with me in the past?

I needed to take a bunch of docs including a letter from his school showing he is in the school, a copy of the schools liscence and some other documents, but never needed to take him, are you sure I need to take him?

Also the new rules I read state anyone can update at any immigration office as to not overwhelm the offices? not sure if thats true but I did read it on a few news outlets?

    Cheers

Here's my report of today's visit to Kanchanaburi immigration for a 60 day extension of my expired on June 5th non-o multi entry visa based on marriage to a Thai wife. I went in the office at 10 a.m. and gave them all the documents that they said would be required of 3 weeks ago. The girl on the desk ask for two more sets of documents, a copy of the Kor Ror 2 to prove we weren't divorced and a copy of every page from my passport even the blanks. After getting these copies we went back to Immigration and the lady who would process my application she said why have you got all these copies of blank passport pages they're not required. I paid my 1900 bht for the application and waited about 10 minutes for the stamp in my passport. After being told that the 60 days would go from the 26th of September I was stamped until the 8th November. I queried this and was told the 60 days now runs from the time of application not as I was told 3 weeks ago the 26th September. Took 2 hours from start to finish.

Will apply for a 1 year extension beginning of November.

Hello, I have to do the exact same thing as you, good to know it worked! so I think from what youve said, I should leave it to the cloest I can on  26th of September, if i went tomorow I would get less days then if I did this say on the 23rd of September right? thanks for posting this as its essentially confirmed I can even get the 60 days! cheers

  6. I have a none o which ran out in 16th june, I did go sometime ago when it was time to extend for 60 days (1900B) and was told its an amnesty so i should go home.

Now I am approaching the end of the amnesty (September), on a none o which is expired sometime ago.

Question, can I go and extend my none O for a further 60 days now? my none o is not based on marriage (im divorced - single father) nor does it require any funds, i got it in the uk as I have a son at school here. I do not think that matters however just to be clear.

I see no point in extending for the 30 days like I was on a tourist visa, IF im entitled to 60 days extension if that makes sense, also might I add, im not 100% confident I can get the extension? ok just to break this down

    1. I entered Thailand on the 19th of March admitted until the 16th of June.
    2. Before the 16th of June I went to ask to extend and was told amnesty no need go home

    3. Until now I have been on the visa amnesty like I assume 99% of other people here

    ----
My visa was issues in my home town of Hull, meaning I had to show my sons school licence copy, condo contract, school letter stating he is enrolled, and some other docs, nothing fnancial though as its my home country, I digress and probably you dont need to know this info just thought id add.

My ultimate question is, can I go now and extend my none o for 60 days? can I just extend for 30 days? normally I can extend 60 days on my none o.
If the answer is yes, I can go to any office right? I heard as offices are busy they are allowing you to go to any?
If the answer is yes, is it 30 or 60 days I will get?
If the answer is no I cannot extend, will I have to leave this month? when the amnesty ends? if thats the case would I need to become a tourist? or fall down with some kind of migraine which stops me from flying *wink wink*

I appreciate I have babbled on here, just wanted to give you the full info, I have my son at school and just starting to get back into the flow after the whole covid took him off his studies for a bit, so I really do not want to have to leave this month, I've been told by alot of people sure I can go when I want and extend 60 days easy, but 2 close friends who do know a bit about visas said no because if i did extend 60 days in June it would be over now anyway so time to go!

Really appreciate any replies in advance and thanks for even taking the time to read.

You are certainly not on an overstay. You are under the amnesty until the 31st like many other people.

You can still apply for a 60 day extension near the end of the amnesty. You only need proof you the parent of a Thai. It doesn't matter what your visa was issued for and it does state on it the reason it was issued.

Thanks Joe, I have extended several times before so I have all paper work in order, I appreciate what your saying that I doesnt matter what my visa was issues for either not sure why I added that, your a star, second time youve helped me out, appreciated, all the best

  9. Hi all, went to extend my none o a while back in mahasarakham and was in short told not to bother and go home,

anyway it’s well over so I’m overstaying but obviously not with the amnesty, however I want to know can I still update 60 days as normal or am I too past the date now? I went in time but was told to go home basically? I don’t know if I can extend 60 days from when it ran out or if I’m going home end of July now?

I don’t think it matters? But I have a none o on the basis I have a child in school here who is Thai/English however weirdly it’s classed as him being here in a priv school , not fully sure but it’s not for marriage although I don’t think that matters it’s a none o, I have two kids in school so I really want to get it sorted or at least plan, btw my none o allows me to get 60 days extension as opposed to the usual 30 here is a pic of my passport visa , I know a lot are in worse situations then me wanting to see there kids etc so hope it’s sorted soon,

I have attached an image of my passport/visa page, would it be worth going again to the office in sarakham? if so, will they even extend me given its overstay now? and if they did id assume the 60 day extension would be from the day my visa ran out? as in not from now? they could argue I should have done this before it ran out, at the time I did try and the covid was in full affect then so even getting around was difficult, if they didnt fob me off maybe they could have updated then just maybe couldnt be bothered or didnt know the rules at that point?

appreciate any replies or help in advance cheers

  10. Hi All,

I sell the occasional computer component on eBay and other bits for the family if need be,

I was set to list a few graphics cards one of which will go for a fair bit, just wondering... I usually use EMS tracked around 800-1200b depending on its weights which is usually around 1-2kg,

First question is, are the postal services closed? I googled the main countries I sell too and it seems US/Canada etc are fine:
    https://goshippo.com/covid-19-carrier-coverage/
So am I best even using EMS as I always have?  I notice when I say ship to Canada ill use the EMS tracking it will be very slow, then if I use the Canada post after a few days its alot more up too date, I would assume DHL/Fedex etc are alot better. I say that becuase I have had a few parcels go off and the staff gave me wrong tracking numbers just because my Thai isnt very good so cant fault them but with ebay you must keep it tracked if anything.

So whats the best postal service to send out too globally not just in terms of price for 1-2kg,

Is Covid affecting any or all of these services?

Is anyone else selling on ebay here in Thailand? I notice Thailand is lacking in any real market places with lazada being impossible for us to sign up, offerup I dont think accepts Thailand, not sure of any others. (fb market place is great for buying as ppl sell for cheap)

Be great to mingle with other ebay sellers here, I am not doing it for business but over the years I have faced a good few issues with postal but over all its pretty good, before all this I could use EMS and have it tracked anywhere sometimes in just 7 days. I have had the other side, tracking numbers not properly entered and the buyer stating it didnt arrive with my 0 proof.

    Cheers

  11. Thanks all, me and the boy have been on quite along holiday, firstly in the UK before this started kicking off too serious really.

I do get some of the comments, albeit some maybe a bit extreme lol, however the head villageman has said my son can go in only, yai/grandad would be in a car and pick him up from the airport (i wont leave the airport). He will have his mask on and I keep him clean. To be honest, this condo is quite large, and my thinking is, soon as a few come down with it in this condo everyone will and its very hard to keep a kid from touching anythinng in a small condo, plus I think Chiang Mai is going to get it bad.

All aside from this Yai is obviously missing my boy as she hasnt seen him for months, she doesnt really get alot ofit as she is elderly but they are all doing good in the village to keep clean and I assume as they eat more healthy, get out in the sun and probably have stronger immune systems isaan would be best for him than here, neither is ideal I can say that,

We are due to fly tomorrow after along time indoors, I am told by some I will get in trouble by the army, and then I have spoke others Thai (in isaan side) who said it will be fine, anyway I will chace it as I want my lad back with yai, he eats alot more healthy there and he has been kept clean so once he is in he will be good until things get back to normal and his school opens, I dont want him locked in Chiang Mai with the army locking us in condos with 100`s of infected people... extreme maybe but could well happen, and that wont happen in the village, I lived in the village for many years and know them all well, its one big family with stuff like this.

Thank you for the replies, even to the extreme ones heh

  12. Hello all,

I need to fly my son back to Khon Kean as Yai and my ex want him in the village for a bit, I have had him for the last month as I took him to the UK, however he is with me in CM now slowly going insane as he has been kept in doors most days.

Anyway I am wondering, will I be allowed to fly to KK and back to CM the same day? the village leader has agreed to let me son into the village, half of me thinks he is best off in the village out in isaan with his gran as opposed to in a busy condo in chiang mai, then I dont know how the villages will deal with it if they get it?

Question is, is he better off in isaan, more so in a village where he spend half the year (other half with me), I send him to a privrate school but thats now closed down so even less reason to need to go, but I do get Yai as she is worried and I can see her point tbf.

    Can I even fly though?

    What would you do?

    Thanks

It's just bad reporting (and in this world of 24 hour news cycles, being picked up and repeated) and yes, if true, the airline would refuse boarding.

Thing is, im not sure if thats completely true, I was told an airline dutie is to check your passport only, its up to you to ensure you have the right paperwork and visas, then again who knows what is true, I am still unsure if the UK is on that list and if we will be denied, I see some good sources saying yes and some no, maybe just some sites are not updating quick enough ????

  16. Hello all,

I have been a bit reluctant to book a flight with all the madness going on, anyway today I got my none O visa from my home town in Hull and then booked an hour later.

Since then literally an hour after I booked I saw some reports stating ALL nationalities (im UK) must show a medical cert and an insurance cover for the virus, anyway I called my doctor he said a. do not come to the doctors we cannot accommodate anyone atm, b. he wouldn't even give me a medical cert unless I had symptoms of something more serious plus even then it could take weeks.

Anyway, I am here in the UK with my son who is both UK/Thai national, we are due to get on a flight tomorrow to bkk from the UK, I am getting conflicting info here, for example most are saying its not ALL nationalities but then CNN and some other sites updated today say now ALL nationalities must have this.

I have my son here, and my wife and daughter in Chiang Mai so I really want to get back, question is, would you guys chance it? I guess the worst that can happen is they say no medical cert or insurance go home, but can they do that to my son who is a Thai? surely no one can get a medical cert with all of this going on? insurance for the virus is  virtually a joke in the UK as in you'd never get that.

Sorry to babble on guys, just wondering is is not ALL countries must show a medical cert and if so, would you just get on the flight and chance it? I do have a none O already issued today however I am just a bit weary of getting onit and ending up in more of a pickle but then im in the mentality if i dont try now i might be locked out for months?

Any advice or info on if this is true now as of effective from today it seems,

Another thing im wondering is if the airline (finn air) will even let us board knowing we wouldnt get in without a medical cert if that is the case surely they must know? or do they just say well we take you and its up to you to check you have the relevant papers to get in?

My main nightmare worry is they try and force my boy into self isolation or sling is in a cell and send us home as he only 5 and they are not exactly the most pleasant people,

    Cheers all

  18. hi all, I have a fiesta I am trying to sell, I have had so many messages about it but not one person come to view it, I was told by a Thai person Fords are pretty hard to sell here and not so many Thais are interested in fords, anyway I have been reducing the price right down but still no one is coming to view it, as time is getting closer to when me and the family are going back to the UK its becoming a bit worrying, the mrs said I could take it to ford or the bank and sell it? its a really nice clean car with low milage but my question is, are they going to give me say 50% of its value? is there anywhere else thats good for selling cars? i dont wanna let it go too cheap and others sell at around 200k bhat with higher milage, then again if its a quick sale I would take a loss, any ideas guy? cheers

You can apply for an extension based upon being the parent of a Thai if you can meet the financial requirements.

It seems you were married to your child's mother which eliminates a problem people have a due to them not being the legal parent of their child.

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for the reply,

I am from Hull in the UK so it was quite easy to do back home, I did not need to show any proof of income etc, I had to show his school certificate, birth cert and a few other docs but nothing related to money.

So are we saying if I choose to stay in Thailand and get an extension I would need proof of funds etc? I get paid by a UK company you see and it can be quite awkward showing a steady income although I do have one, it kinds of depends on the projects where I work for gets in,

It sounds like I am probably best flying back to the UK and getting another one? seems alot of hassle just to get a none O when I have already been granted one, I assume I cannot just extend for 30 days or 60?

    Thanks,

    Ryan
