Wow, does my geography suck!!! Here I was sure that Nigeria was part of Africa. ????
As for the rest of your post, I really think the lack of response is just a lack of interest and nothing racial. I think most people see drug smugglers as scum, regardless of where they come from. And let's make it clear that I'm talking about drugs -- not cannabis.
Did the comment state that Nigeria wasn't part of Africa? Purge yourself of pettiness.

Why do we have few comments on this thread? If he were a Nigerian or an African, many of you would be jumping on top of each other to shout, "Kill the motherf***er".
To you of little minds and pinchoms, know this: Crime has no nationality. -

Let's just say and in a very mild and sheepish way that most, if not all, Nigerians and other african nations that are staying in this country don't have a good reputations of being a law abiding visitors/stayers...
It is nauseating and shameful for you to stereotype all Nigerians and Africans living in Thailand. Many Aussies, Americans and Europeans have been caught for more than 15 years of overstay in Thailand but it didn't elicit such profiling and condemnation from you and your ilks. What do you have against Africans? What about those who are working tirelessly as teachers, lecturers, businessmen etc. contributing to the growth of Thai economy in their little space? Don't they have good reputations of being law abiding visitors and stayers too? Have you ever wondered how they were able to stay that long without being caught for such a long period of time? I think honest answers to these question will go a long way in addressing the problems by the authorities concerned. We are in 21st century and rise above your petty hatred and racism.

Same racial profiling Africans in Thailand suffered during the scourge of Ebola. What goes around comes around. Sorry!!!

I see. Only Nigerians are scammers in Thailand. What about the British and Russian credit cards mafians? The earlier you constitutionally rip yourself of stereotype the better for the society. Many locals are swindling foreigners of their hard-earned money here everyday. However, may I quickly remind you that only the GREEDY fellas fall victim to the low-life scammers which cuts across all races, religion and nations. Be civil in your comments.

He should go and sweat it out with other inmates in any of the Thai prisons that's been described as hell. No need to go home and chill in a ventilated prison. What is good for the goose is equally good for the gander.
Why send him back to Aussie? Is he above the laws of the land? He should face the music like his kinds...A Powder Cowboy . . . .. just send him back to Aus with a postit note on his forehead.
"Further training needed."
Aye lad, but in case you haven't noticed, exile is a handy tool, when dealing with undesirables.
We notice more than but a few criminals, avoiding Thailand justice, like this.
Having somewhere to send them back to, is a convenience not to be missed at every opportunity.
In the great and "real" days of the Magna Carter, this was a sound legal option.

It's now just about the gun not the drug that carries a stiffer penalty bcos he's an Aussie. If he were a Nigerian or an African some white-rabbits here will condemn the entire black race for the crime of one man leaving the substance behind...
A person who goes to equity must go with clean hands...

I am having the same problem. I am a Nigerian on Non-ED visa. I got a new English teaching job which requires Non-B visa while the work permit is being processed. Which of the Thai embassies around can grant me a Non-B visa in earnest as my current visa plan is due to expire by the first week of January?
Thank you.
