During his 6 months I did see hi do some great things. Maybe not obvious to all, but certainly he was a huge supporter of charity and did everything possible to ensure that they had his full cooperation and assistance.

Good riddance.  This guy did absolutely nothing, quite like his predecessors and most likely his successors.  I wonder if he recouped his investment in his short time span here?

For once Phuket gets a governor who genuinely cares, has an intelligent agenda and is a truly good guy. Just a few months later gone, now what will we get next?

You obviously get excited over something insignificant. Wouldnt even represent 1% of the access to all sports, or the opportunity to participate, or the available facilities from where i come from.
 
"Internation athletes". Yes, someone who resides overseas. Just like Phuket is an "internatiinal tourist destination".
To some it may be. To me and most it is just a slum, a cesspool but with a facade to cover what lay beneath.
