This reply is a bit late, but I use the Ambi Climate (basically the same as a Sensibo I think). It's not cheap, but I love it. It learned when we like it a bit cooler and when a bit warmer. I use my phone to turn on the AC 5 minutes before I get home. If your wifi is on, you can control your AC from anywhere. Their customer service is top notch in my experience.

Hulu, at least for now, seems a lot less aggressive in blocking the dns services. I use smartdnsproxy which works fine. You can use it on top of your existing VPN, which is what I do

Are you able to get US Netflix through smartdnsproxy? I was using UNOtelly, but it hasn't worked for about 2 months for Netflix. Your reply would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of examples along this train of thought...

I was in Annie's restaurant a few years ago back when it was still on Saladaeng. We got there around 9:40pm. We had no idea what time the restaurant closed.... but it was busy and we were seated. We sat down and were handed menus. We asked for a wine menu. The waiter took our wine order and went off to get it. He brought it back, opened it, poured it..... it was now 10pm... and we said we'd like to order. The waiter said, "Sorry, the kitchen closes at 10." After an argument, we left without paying for the wine!

I was in Central Lad Phrao earlier this week. I was interested in buying a juicer. I talked to the seemingly fairly knowledgeable clerk about them for a bit of time. I narrowed it down to three models that he all recommended... the first he said was the best of the three.... the other two both ran a close second.

So, I said, "Okay, I'll take Model "A".

He said, "No have in stock."

I said, "When will you have it in stock."

He said, "I don't know. Maybe not get more."

So, I said, "Okay, I'll take Model "B".

He said, "No have in stock."

I said, "When will you have it in stock."

He said, "I don't know. Maybe not get more."

So, I said, "Okay, I'll take Model "C".

He said, "No have in stock."

I said, "When will you have it in stock."

He said, "I don't know. Maybe not get more"

I said, "Why have you spent the past 10 minutes talking to me about and recommending three products that you don't even have to sell me?"

I received a lovely Thai smile in response.

I walked out.

I need to send a pair of headphones from Thailand to the United States for repair or replacement. I would say there is a 99% chance the company will replace them rather than repair them.

So, my question is, how do I avoid paying a duty when these headphones are sent back to me? I'm hoping there is some sort of procedure for this. Some way to document that the item was sent out of Thailand and is re-entering the country?

Does anyone know the procedure or have experience with this type of situation? I'd appreciate it....
