The whole point of this dicussion is that you are running around saying the vaccines "prevent infection", which is a lie. They may reduce infection, but getting a vaccine is not necesssarily going to stop you from getting infected, just as wearing a seatbelt will not necesssarily stop you from being injured in a car accident.

Vaccines may "reduce" infection or severity of infection, but they do not "prevent" infection.

That study only measured the people once for viral loads, a flaw in its research.

    Here's some more.

A vaccinated person is less likely to get COVID in the first instance, is less contagious, and is contagious for a shorter time, resulting in significantly less spread of the virus through a highly vaccinated community.

"vaccinated people clear the virus faster, with lower levels of virus overall, and have less time with very high levels of virus present."

The site you posted is obscure and not a good source of information.

According to the CDC as reported in Newsweek, viral loads are quite similar between both groups. https://www.newsweek.com/cdc-data-shows-delta-variant-breakthrough-cases-equally-contagious-unvaccinated-people-1614521

Do you disagree with the CDC?

actually, no. The anecdotes are overwhelmingly on one side of the debate. The side that believes in science finds it easier to cite actual credible research and data. The other side can't find any.

Maybe you’re only hearing certain anecdotes because you self-select for certain information sources and most of your friends share your own views. I can tell you that most of the anecdotes I have been hearing lately from friends, coworkers and family are much more in line with the observations I stated earlier.

And besides, they’re just observations. Take them or leave them ????

  4. Staff don’t care about the details of the tests anyway. They just want you to audibly say you took the test and wave any old piece of paper so they can have plausible deniability in case the manager catches them on camera.

Same goes for lots of other countries, too. Seems fewer people really take any of this stuff as seriously as the media lets on. It’s mostly all just for show.

Went to a massage shop today. The gal put oil on both hands. I feel like she did not see the "real me" - I felt undervalued, and very uncomfortable; however, I soon forgave her...

Did you keep your masks on?

How can you possibly know that, you are not Thai.

So only Thai people can notice other Thai people doing things?

I guess you think only Americans can notice other Americans doing something, or only Brits can really notice other Brits doing something?

The lack of logic around here is truly jawdropping.

Since you have now reached the point of calling me a liar I feel I ought ask you to back up your own claims.

Provide evidence of claims that the vaccines would be 100% effective.

What are you on, bro? Are you that out of touch? People—doctors, presidents, officials—were saying it all over the news media, throughout 2020 and earlier this year.

As perhaps one of the best-known examples, ol' Joe Biden himself said it. He was fact checked. News article here:

    https://www.wthr.com/article/news/verify/biden-falsely-claims-people-vaccinated-against-covid-19-cant-get-infected/531-bd262f52-e4a1-4ff8-9855-9a7e0ece588f

According to your own logic, this proves you're a liar. Although personally I just feel you're terribly misinformed. SMH

This is anti-science. Look a Sweden. No lockdown, thank you very much. And ?

Lower number of deads (in proportions) than France or UK.

    1 438 versus 1 736 and 1 931 (deads per million, source Worldometer).

To be fair, this is hardly statistically significant.

Thus is a link to a study done by Ivermectin cheerleaders.

Thus do you derogatorily label HUNDREDS of MD's as "cheerleaders" rather than doing any due diligence on their arguments whatsoever.

Maybe the real cheerleader here is you, who are a cheerleader for censorship.

Just to fact-check your MSNBC-owned fact-checker... it's pretty funny who you trust.

“As far as Ivermectin, VERIFY has investigated this issue before, and the drug is not currently recommended for the treatment of COVID-19 – even by the company that manufactures it. Last month, drug company Merck, which makes the brand-name of Ivermectin, told VERIFY it stands by its February statement that said there is “no meaningful evidence” the drug helps patients with Covid-19."

Oh really? "EVEN" by Merck... a company that's been marred over the decades by a series of scandals, and is buried in lawsuits for destroying the lives of thousands of people over the decades?

Like I said, funny who you trust.
