  1. I'm the OP and I'm looking for love. I don't want to waste time getting to know a woman only to find out we're not sexually compatible/no chemistry or she has hangups about sex (pain). So to some degree, I'd prefer having sex on day 1. Like others have mentioned, most dates with Thai women end up in bed and this is women from all walks of life and income/education levels.

Given the dating sites asks candidates to indicate what they are looking for: friendship, marriage, etc. I think it's nervy of any woman to write she wants a husband and (without uttering a word prior about payment), she turns around asking for payment later. It's cheeky and not welcomed. Not about being a scammer or cheap charlie or rape. It's about what's right or wrong. To then try forcing her way back into my condo afterwards was uncessary and I used just the right amount of force as I hope my family would use if an intruder tried to do the same.

  2. There are a lot of judgmental people posting here!!

I don't have any firm opinions one way or another on what constitutes a good girl, or bad girl, etc., but it would never occur to me to offer money to a woman who came home with me to get laid. If she had asked prior to coming home with me, I'd make a call on that at that time, but if she didn't make it clear that she wanted money, then I'd feel under no obligation to offer it after the event.

Slamming the door and catching her hand/arm? I had a similar thing happen in Singapore back in the 70's, and I had to shove her out after she threw all my clothes out into the corridor. I slammed the door after her, and did jam her arm, but no serious injury. I did check she wasn't hurt, and then had to get security to remove her.

The cause of the problem? She asked for money for spending the night with me, after not revealing the terms of the contract up front!!!

You got it. You understand because you've been there. Are you me??

  3. Why not just stick to bargirls? They are far less complicated, generally sexier and very good at what they do.

The good girls are sweet but terrible in bed most of the time. It's like a free 2 day old pizza buffet. It's not the best but you'd probably eat it anyway...

  4. A Thai's analysis is that there is a lot of money to be made by keeping the protest sites up and running. While some shops are being harmed, other enterprising Thais have turned this in to a land grab opportunity to re-position their businesses and profit heavily. Perhaps when you walk around, look at the economics of the situation and see if there are some large organised operations providing new services to anyone and everyone in the protest areas and crowding out existing businesses in the area. I'm curious if this is true as it could provide extra monetization to the occupiers.

    Any come to mind? (whistles?)...

  5. No stuctured youth coaching here. Not like UK where there are lots of recreational sporting clubs for all sports and the development and welfare of the young is paramount. Here its a way of life, the kids are paid/pro's from infant's, often they are the breadwinners of the family. Money Number one.

Go see Tony Ryan at Sitpholek gym on Sukhumvit near the orphanage. Great teacher and very handsome too although my eyes are very bad...

  6. A friend (not a BM) owns a guest house in central Pattaya and has come to me for help as he knows about the boards.

I've stayed there many times. All seemed fine. I find the guesthouse to be spotless with great wifi, AC, safe, and good rates.

Suddenly, a rash of negative complaints have sprung up online all written within the last week making some extremely strong (and allegedly false) allegations about the guesthouse and owner. Maybe someone with an ax to grind like a competitor or someone malicious.

Most of his guests, who use Google to find info. about the guesthouse, are reading the (fake) reviews about bed bugs and theft, and are cancelling their bookings in droves.

I'm not a computer expert but does anyone have any suggestions on how he can get rid of the complaints? When I Google his business name + Pattaya, I see his website as #1 and directly below it, are all these phony reviews over many sites. I've tried making a few positive reviews on major hotel review sites but even they are appearing below the complaints sites.

    Thank you for your replies.

  7. Major is still the best because you can get a student card if you're here on an ED visa as I am, My movies ANY TIME cost only 80 baht. I also accumulate points on this discount scheme so once in awhile, I get a free large popcorn.

Seniors get the same privileges. No proof of age required. You just need to look or act old. wink.png

    Top marks for Major.

How old do you need to be for the senior discount. I think I might qualify but probably don't look it.

    Try harder. haha.

I've gone with guys in their 50s who got it. Thais don't want a problem nor do they want to try figuring out how old you are if you were born in the 40s, 50s, 60s, etc.

  9. If Thailand is 3rd world, PI is 4th for sure. Not ready for prime time.

Having said that, the women are REALLY nice. I speak fluent Thai so I can handle myself just fine in Thailand but I really adore the Filipinas way way more although I wish to live in Thailand as it's more modern. My dream is more Filipinas in Thailand. Then you get the best of both worlds.

  10. It`s in the soi next to me, from what little I know, appears to be trying to help to provide a better future for some.

I spoke briefly to a lady that was taking some classes there.

    Massage, languages etc.

    Fair play to them.

That's correct. It's a Christian endeavor. The manager is a nun. They offer free courses in hairstyling, English (taught by mostly Scandinavians -- oy vey!), German, computers, and massage.

There are big signs in the schools stating in English that all courses are free. The reason is because some unscrupulous girls got their boyfriends to pay for their free courses, unbeknownst to them.
