BTW, not so long ago they were considering a 500 baht jump.
It’s the old ploy of stating a high price initially to shock everyone into complaining before eventually reducing it so that everyone thinks their outbursts caused the reduction and they feel that they’ve won and accept it with a smile.

Been getting a few of those SMS messages (with name not a number) in Thai that are phishing or scamming myself. At least one can block call numbers easily.
You can add this as a contact in your address book (without opening the message) then block the contact to stop the messages being received…

Typical Thai response to fewer customers is to put up the price to compensate, which in turn means fewer customers so let’s put the price up again until they price themselves out of business.
Everywhere else they reduce the price to entice more customers...

You have to ask yourself if 1 death in 100 days is worth the current economic chaos Thailand has put itself through?
Does anyone actually believe the figures the Thai government release. Last month my daughter had coronavirus after a previous illness weakened her immune system, she was in an ICU in a Bangkok hospital along with others who had coronavirus. They were all Thai and none had been out of the country. Luckily my daughter fully recovered but an aunt of my Thai wife died last month of the virus, where was this reported ?

“100 Days without Local COVID Infection in Thailand”
What a load of <deleted>. My daughter was in an ICU in a Bangkok hospital last month along with her great aunt. Both where diagnosed as having Coronavirus as were others in the unit. My daughter has fully recovered but her great aunt died of the virus, neither has ever been out of Thailand. One rural town has reports of approx 200 new cases of the virus.

Why stop at extending the emergency decree when you can also extend the days in a month as well.

Best to try it on the government officials first as there would definitely be no fear of any possible brain damage.

If some Thai people are returning to Thailand, and are not self quarantining for 14 days
This drastic measure will ensure what happend on last Friday, when 160 odd Thais returned
home and disappeared into the woodwork. Will not happen again
How will this ensure it won’t happen again?
It simply postpones it & and they will refuse to self quarantine when the flights start arriving again. This is a worldwide problem and the CoronaVirus could be around for months.

The picture at the top of this post showing the blown engine is actually a picture of an Air France Airbus A380 and they have just cropped photo enough as to not show the Air France logo on the inside engine.
