Hello, I am currently on an extension of stay based on retirement and reside in Chonburi. I am travelling to Malaysia in the near future and when I return to Thailand I will be staying in Koh Samui,where I have a plot of land and house on long term lease. My question is what, if any, documentation will I require when returning to Thailand for my new address, in Koh Samui, when submitting a TM6 upon arrival ( I have a registered lease agreement for the land and dwellings upon it but the blue house book is not in my name yet and still in the construction companies ) do I also have to submit a TM 28 form upon arrival. I will retain my house in Chonburi for the near future, the 90 day reporting is not a consideration as I travel with business frequently and I am never in Thailand for more than 90 days. Thankyou for your replies and information if possible can you tell me what paperwork my wife would have to submit to apply for an extension of stay, approximately how long the process would take, and where should she apply , local immigration ?. ( ours is Samui ) Or main office in Bangkok, Many thanks again

Hi hope someone can advise on visa options, we are foreign national married couple my wife has a business and work permit she is on a non b multiple entry visa. I am currently on a single entry non o visa due to expire the end of Febuary. My questions are; can I get an extension to my current visa based on being a dependant ( spouse ) If so without leaving the country i.e. at local immigration or do I have to apply for a new multiple entry non o at a Thai embassy outside Thailand e.g Penang. Also what requirements other than marriage certificate and proof of her company , work permit, company registration documents , would I need to attach to my application for a new visa or extension to existing. Your wife can get an extension of stay as your dependent after you get your extension based upon retirement (they are not visas).

What kind of visa or entry do you and your wife have now?

Thank you for your reply. We are both on the last entry of a triple entry tourist visa, we have to return to the UK for 1 month in September so I thought that we should apply for retirement status upon return in November

Hi, I intend to apply for retirement visa, I am over 50 and have all the requirements in place for this type of visa, my wife is 46 years of age. Can she be included on my retirement visa ? If not any suggestions as to which visa would be preferable for her.
