  1. Ho Hum.....more of same same. Propose this - propose that. Thailand needs to remember that "Tourists" are required to Quarantine when they return to their own countries as well.....as long as there are flights....which there are not many direct flights. So....most Tourist will still not travel to Thailand. Then, if the Vaccine Passport becomes compulsory - there will be even less returning to Thailand.

    Vaccines are not for everyone.

What is it that people think that getting a vaccine (assuming it works as claimed) will protect others?  It's so upside down on it's head.

If you come to Thailand you could sign a waiver that they're not responsible if you get the virus.  No lock down, no economy damaged.   Does anyone else see this as a financial game with an underlying intent of a great reset?

Thailand missed out on a fantastic opportunity to get ahead of all the other idiot countries.

    Gun meet foot.  Enjoy.

Should allow people to travel there with self-funded Insurance, regardless of Vaccination or No Vaccination....no Quarantine.

  3. Its a blessing that they are looking for signs of intelligence on other Planets.

Again.....Thai Govt does not do its research. There are many foreigners will refuse to be vaccinated, so the numbers will not stack up. Also, it doesn't whether a person is vaccinated or not - they can still be a Covid Carrier and pass it on to others.

Need to allow travellers with High Levels of Vitamin D and Blood Group 0, as these people do not get Covid. Don't put everyone in the same basket.

Thailand - Be Transparent and Come Clean.....who do you want living in Thailand ?
    The latest news:
Thailand's tourism authorities are putting their faith in celebrities, reality TV stars, net idols and influencers to get millennials flooding into Thailand, reported the Thai media.
TAT partners in China, Japan and Korea are working on the "Thailand I Miss You" project.
Tourism Authority of Thailand governor Yutthasak Suphaorn was quoted as saying that 10 million tourists - presumably this year - would be "mai yaak"- no problem.
One day you need to stop dreaming, have some intelligence and stop cooking the Books. The Thai Baht should be at least 40 Baht to the AUD by now. You say the economy is now worse than 1997.......so what was the Thai Baht to AUD then ? The world is not stupid.

Anyone with any slight form of intelligence would boycott Chine altogether !

  5. It takes 5 years to really know someone. If she was a Bargirl, Internet Bride, Golf Caddy or some other Cunning, Controlling and Manipulative Slut (with a past ) when you met her, then none of their actions, non-emotions or behaviours will make sense to you, her or anyone else. My Aunty always told me to tell the girls - if its not on - then its not on.......Condoms, that is. LOS...Land of Smiles and what exactly is behind the smiles ? Land of Sluts...and Ladyboys.

  6. I hope they all go out of business and firstly abolish/ ban Palm oil and then ban MSG......all this does is cause tightening of the muscles, diarrhoea, and headaches. If the food is not good enough to eat on its own - then why eat it ? same as coffee...if it's not nice to drink without sugar, the. Just drink warm sugar water and save your money.

I would really love to support the Thais and eat out more often...but they are poisoning me with MSG and Palm oil......will they ever learn to put the customer first . In the too hard basket I think.

  7. I am moving into a new house where there is no Cable TV available. I want at least one Australian TV Station and Some International News Stations, as well as the main Thai program's hat the locals seem to enjoy. I have a Smart TV so do not know if I go via the TV on Internet on arrange a Satellite Disc.

I am trying to avoid paying commissions to every Thai atom, Dick and Harry for simple advice. Which is the best way to go, given I am only here 6 months each year and want to cap the costs at 300 Baht per month.

  8. This is crazy, I agree deal with the problem.

Most people who celebrate are either on holiday or live there. They are not driving around.

Yes, put up road blocks, random checks, anything, and punish those who drink and drive. Not the people who just genuinly want to have a good time.

    Everything is blamed on alcohol.

Yes it is a major cause of accidents, but not just at festivals, all year round. Its just another excuse to stop people enjoying themselves.

A lot of people come on holiday just for Songkran. Kill the tourist industry, stop the enjoyment, and kill Thailand. That is exactly what is happening.

Sort out the problem, they have a police force....use it !!!!!

The Government could triple the Salaries paid to the Police Bosses and then penalise them (by x% per complaint and then remove them from Office once the % Minimum has gone below the Target Threshold) for every complaint made against the Police Force for "unfair / illegitimate" activities made against the Force.

  9. Yes - the Bus direct from Suvanabumi Airpost to Hua Hin near Soi 96, costs 305 Baht per Adult. I have a Condo which is available for rent and is a 3 minute walk from where the Bus arrives. It is also 500 metres from the beach and a short walk to the Market Village Shopping Centre.

Taxi's to the Golf courses are between 300 to 400 Baht each way.

  10. Greed and Ego's destroy businesses eventually. If Thai airways (and/or any other business) simply start out with low Profit Margins then they would retain customers and competitors would be minimised. Business Models are not easy as start-up costs are high and then the on-going development of the business continues to grow which causes high operating costs, however other airlines seem to do more with less and i travel Business Class on another Airline cheaper than a discounted Economy Class on Thai Airways.
