I went to Banglamung 30 September, they said they had to send details to BKK, I am still waiting for a reply and my Thai Visa runs out this week

Banglamung Amphur has a law of there own. I tried to marry my Thai partner there and was told I would have to wait 10 weeks. Apparently the corruption at this office is under investigation and all farang marriages are being referred to BKK. In the meantime my affirmation has expired and my visa will run out before the 10 weeks are up. We went to Siracha was was told it had to be referred to BKK but had a reply back in two weeks. In the meantime we went to Lak Si in Bangkok and the whole thing was dealt with in 90 minutes by excellent and friendly staff

This is typical of what is going on between the HMRC and Pensions. I am pursuing the same for a client and asked them to send a copy of the reply to the client in Thailand. The reply went to the wrong address and when I asked Pensions to check the address they put me onto HMRC who would not do as I said as I didn't have authority. I asked them  to let me have details of their authority for send my clients details to the wrong address. No Reply.

Since I have been coming 27 years, the cost has altered materially and with the fall in the pound and increase in Thai prices it now cost twice as much as 5 years ago
