    I've noticed that that is a common practice of Thai PMs. They walk around pointing the finger, saying 'fix this', 'review that', 'form a committee', 'make it better', then wander off smugly as if they've fixed the problem. But they never actually do anything.

    Doesn't matter how long the visa exemption period (and I'm loving the 60+30!!), if somebody is intending to overstay and work illegally then that's what they will do. Dropping the visa exemption back to 30 days won't bother them, but will make it more difficult for the people wishing to enjoy an extended break in Thailand.

    Do you realise that Palestinians/Hamas want to wipe Israel off the face off the Earth? Is that not genocide? If you're going to be anti-genocide, then it works both ways. Anyway, back to the story. Are they not being served because they are Israeli, or just because they're being dicks? I'm quite sure there are objectionable tourists of all ethnicities, so why detail them as Israeli?

    You mean the sour-faced pensioners that worked and paid taxes for 40-50 years and want it a bit easy as they get near the end of the ride? How unreasonable they are!! 🙄

    Problem is they're making it more difficult for the Bogans to get into Bali, but easier to get into Thailand.

    The 'Constitutional Court' seems to hold an awful lot of power. Seems if you get them on your side you can achieve any result you want. Who are its members? What is its intended purpose?

    Without reading the whole article, and I know the devil is in the details, but I didn't think there was a problem with using marijuana for legitimate medical purposes.
