Correct. He is not qualified to speak about viruses. An "epidemiologist" would be have the  expertise to speak and write about viruses. Pulmonologists treat lung diseases, including those that come from viruses. They aren't experts about the progress of viruses. 

First. "Immunity" means... You can't get it any more!  Covid is already proven itself as a virus you can get repeatedly, so "herd immunity" is impossible unless the virus completely dies out. 

Second, the good doctor is a "pulminologist" - NOT qualified as an expert in this field. His opinion is not expert (see paragraph one).

The confusion here is that the government requirement is that income taxes paid on income start at a minimum of 50k.

Most salaries for teachers at government are at the 30k-40k level - the vast majority

Thai private schools pay little more than government schools...35K-75K

The top tier of private international schools can pay 65k-100k and beyond

People strayed way off my topic, as so often happens here.

CONCLUSION: I took my TOURIST VISA, along with a notarized letter from the USA Embassy saying nothing but "Bank Account" (50 bucks), a Certificate of Residence from the place I rent month to month...to Bangkok Bank.

THEN, they opened an account for me (even though no one there could understand the English written on the USA EMBASSY Letter.

IN BANGKOK...I have been in five different branches of Bangkok Bank, two different KBanks. Same line from all - I need a work permit to open an account

This is totally insane. Banks refuse to allow me to open an account without a work permit. I want a retirement visa, which requires I have 800,000 in a Thai Bank...but no bank I've visited will open an account for me.
