My Dad has some homes with what your looking for. They are very nice and 10 mins away from all the noise in the central of Pattaya. Soi siam Country Club road they are down. And they are western too, my Dad planned all of them. A small area in which English people live, other nationalities are also welcome. They are called Park View Villas.

If there's a big rise in crime against farang you can pretty well bet it's across the board but Thais not so publicised... - well.. maybe just look at front page of Thai Rath.
The world is in general becoming more violent (see BBC for chip throwing incident in Islington, London).
BUT am I the only one to notice this? Doesn't it seem to be that half the populations of certain neighbouring countries have come to Thailand. I have lived in Chiang Mai for many years and you walk down any street and hear people talking .. its not Thai or English and not even any of the more local hilltribe languages. There is a huge influx of people coming into the country, some legally and some not.
The numbers are astounding. The next stop after Chiang Mai for many is Bangkok which pays slightly better for labour. I have seen and heard of case after case. Some of these people have Baat Dang Dao and some have nothing.
This is certainly fuelling the crime situation.
Guys i think it is really sad what is happening in the LOS, but i dare say that we better keep an eye open and if something does go wrong i say keep a quick pace outta there....
These thai's can get quiete pissed real quick all it takes is a bad look and your done 4.

They charge HER 50 bt, but charge YOU, the farang, 200 baht. Sure wouldn't want someone stealing 2 1/2 minutes of video, (after paying to get in the theatre in the first place), and using their own camera. TIT

All i can say is, i love 'em
their ways their trust and their word, as for all the other bastards who kill and maim people i say we should all just take care where-ever we are.
And the way they treat their women is magnificent i know a couple of TG's who wouldn't go with westerners and would rather go with arabs due to the respect and of corse the money but all in all they are just happy at the way they are treated with these guys
..
some tg's go to dubai and bahrain and qatar and are really heart-broken when they come back, not because they are treated as slaves but because they actually start falling for these guys, !!
now i wonder is it the money or the size that matters....other than thati've never heard of any complaints by tg's
and guys let me just say these guys really know how to take care of women and really show incredible respect....

thanks guys , i do think u r all right it is better for me to rent 1st although i've been to thailand so many times and am real bored of moving all the time.
but there's just so much to see and do in so many parts of pattaya and things seem to be changing real quick.....

Well then here we go,
I don't know about any of u guys but i'm here to stay and i think the only way to understand people is to actually talk to them and get to know as much as possible.
As i said before , These guys come here to party just like most of us, so hey ...who said we can take over and choose who we wwant to interact with or not .
pattaya is a big place and i think the more the merrier. Arab or non-arab, get out and about and see 4 yourselves.
where do u get arabs trying to get u into trouble in pattaya although alot of our own type give bad looks, curse and insult these guys every time they walk into a bar in north pattaya or a club loaded with farangs.
now let me say we do get a lot of bastards on both sides of the hemisphere

I actually have a close friend in England who is a muslim and I don't believe in racism against them because of the current events. You'd be suprised how many people there are like me who are not rasists Wild1.

been visiting pattaya for the past 15 years and got to tell y'all about south pattayan arabs
actually these guys can really party and have been real good to us on a couple of occasions
although there are a couple of shady characters these people only care about getting away from their normal routines of all out partying to actually come over and relaX with a capital X.now i'm not against any of them but hey some ppl need to check them out ...
I mean they spend a s**t load of money and don\t give a cr*p about politics and suicidal maniacs all or most of these guys just get over here and chill like all the rest of us, most of them are from well groomed families bored of living in the west after all the un-rest and believe it or not without mentioning names i met a lad who was actually aggressive in his defence of thailand and the southern parts and thinks that the thais should let the arabs sort out these ppl only for purposes of which they knows about.
now it takes a mentally challenged guy to actually preach
but hey when u get a western orientated arab with views that are out of this world for the benefit of every1, i say give'em a chance..
Most of these guys have travelled extensively through-out thailand and some of them have even re-located.
I\m no racist but i do like to visit a couple of middle eastern friends who live in Jomtien and i got to tell u, they r kicking it, owning large properties in Pattaya and Bangkok with enough money to make it over and over....i\m talkin' about 400 US per day on laughs and pu**y, they do contribute but unfortunately are not liked by a lot of bar owners which is really SAD.
Basically , i think we should all get to know each other after all we are all here for 1thing at-least we have some-thing in common......

Actually racism exists everywhere. no matter where u look
It's just a matter of who hates who, who fears who, and who discriminates against who.
let me just share an experience.!
One time I was invited to a party in France, so i also brought my friends.
My friends were Indians.
Once these guys got in the house, my friends started eyeing me with disliked faces.
At first I didn't know. I asked my Indian friends to eat something, soon another of my french mates cleaned the table and put the snacks and food away,so no more food was supplied afterwards.
Additionally, my Indian friends were dancing with the musicand just kicking back, as my french friends were whispering with insults saying "Bugger" and so on... so i left the room. Indian friends didn't even know that they have been insulted.
After they left the house, none of my French friends said " BYe"
It's not because they are uncomfortable with strangers, they were looking at them with "i'm gonna smack you 1" faces. Since I witnessed this incident, I've realized that many types of people favour certian people only and not certain other people.
