Why would you say that?  Older men like Playboy's Hugh Hefner and actor Michael Douglas have sung the praises of Viagra, but now scientists say the erectile dysfunction pill is not only good for your sex life — it's good for your heart.  Viagra allows greater blood flow. British Pfizer scientists Peter Dunn and Albert Wood create a drug called sildenafil citrate that they believe will be useful in treating high blood pressure and angina, a chest pain associated with coronary heart disease.Mar 27, 2013   -- Now you know the rest of the story.

Original use was hypertension, they found out later about helping ed. Not the other way around.

Or come to thailand with a tourist visa contact your embassy about criminal check and take the proper action from there

You can take it from thai police station too but it takes time

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect

Does anyone know if degrees need to be notarized and checked as well for wp for teacher?  If so, does anyone know if US Embassy does any of this.  I have searched but it seems like it needs to be done on the state and fed level in USA?

  3. Hi, I have a quick question.

I have accepted a teaching job in Thailand and I am gathering the documents together to get my 90 day work visa sorted.

I am in Hanoi at the moment and have been here for about 3 weeks.  I was in Thailand before that a couple of times and Cambodia as well.  I have been traveling for awhile now.

My question is, under the documents listed for work visa;  it states this for police check

" Police certificate verifying that applicant has no criminal record or equivalents or letter issued by authorised agencies in applicant’s country. (The requirement of the submission of such police certificate is optional. The applicant must submit it if consular officer requests he/she to do so. This requirement is effective as from May 2007)"

What would be the most practical way to approach this.  My school is telling me to tell them what to do and gather the documents they need?  Which is interesting in itself.

I have only been in Hanoi for 3 weeks and it also has a clause that I might not need to do this?

It would be pretty hard for me to get this done back in USA.

Thanks in advance for any insight?

Always question. I overstayed my Thai Visa once, by less than 12 Hours due to a holiday, I had to leave & return. I chose to fly to Siam Reap, as it was the only flight available. Spent a day on the bus to Phnom Penn, the following day I checked for chatter about the Thai visa section there. I saw many comments stating that the Thai visa section would deny a visa for the slightest excuse, however you can give money to the guard at the gate, and the following day you could pick up your passport with the proper visa attached. I did not bother to try it as I realized I had a multiple entry visa. The Immigration official at the Thai/Cambodia border told me she did not know why the BKK immigration official was so "mean".

I have learned when doing business at any Thai government Office it is best to wear long pants and a button up shirt. I recalled when I first was "overstayed" I was wearing shorts & t-shirt...

my only problem with this, is ive already tried once.  i am almost hesitant to go try again, even if i try to give some extra $.  I might check it out.  I am also hesitant of just having a full book and then them denying me entry bc of a stamp. I do have room for a stamp but in Cambodia and Thailand, its sometimes up to the gods when things are aligning up a little borderline.

Most pages will say visas on it somewhere. On mine it says visas at the top of the page and endorsements on the side of those pages.

sorry to beat a dead horse here ubonjoe.  couldnt verify this info on here.  Idk if u know this information or not but thought I would give it a shot because I am trying to do some planning.

As far as getting a new or renewing an old US passport because it is full;  Does it actually take 10 working days as stated on the US Embassy website to get this done?

Your explanation seems like you are still In Thailand and just passport Is there......??

Sometimes the embassy or consulate of your country can add some emergency extra pages for a quick use and In meantime Issue a new passport book expiring the same date of the old one. This makes the procedure very fast being like a duplicate, not a  reIssue.

Sorry, I was a little vague on my response.  I am in Siem Reap at the moment and was trying to get a 60 day tourist visa.  I had no idea about the endorsement pages due to my own ignorance.  I still have about 2 good months left on my Cambodian visa.  At this point,  it looks like my passport is full and I need to go to the us embassy in phnom penh and just get a new one.  Not really excited about it,  PP is not my #1 vacation spot.   Just get it done.. Thks for all the responses here

If you have space on a page for a entry stamp you will not have a problem entering Thailand.

You will get a 52 page passport that is all they issue at embassies.

You might want to think ahead and make an appointment in Bangkok. See: https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/acsappointment/

u were exactly right, ubon joe.. i was ignorant on this.. my last 3 pages are only used for endorsements.  i just recently got an extension in cambodia.  which they just put over another page in the earlier part of my book.  Thai said nada.. at any rate.  I need a new passport anyways and will got to pp to get it done.   Thanks for your supporting comments.

Thanks buddy, yea been to bkk embassy many times.  It is so much easier to access, make appts, etc than pp.

Might use this option instead of going to pp.

Same as mine that has a total of 52 pages. Endorsements on pages 49,50 and 51.

Less than two weeks to get a new one at the embassy in Bangkok.

Ill look at it tomorrow and report back.  I dont believe I have the 52 page book..  Nonetheless, it is time or is coming time to get a new one.

I just was not wanting to go to pp myself to the us embassy.  its 2 weeks til theres even an appointment to get a new book.

im assuming thailand wont let me in the ctry as well on the US arrival visa under these circumstances?

Last week in Phnom Penh my friend used an agent to receive a visa in a totally full USA passport. The agent called to confirm before taking the passport. The passport only had the 3 blank pages at the back marked for endorsement. The visa was stamped to the first page.

nice, I think I used the wrong agent it seems.. I am in siem reap at the moment.  humm,  After looking at more research.. Looks like maybe my passport is full.  I didnt think all 3 were used for any additional changes

Since you just stay at home, work out and watch movies... Vietnam because you'll get better value for money quality apartments, a much higher salary with the part time teaching, better internet.

Nice apartments are in short supply in Cambodia and more expensive than Thailand.

Cambodia is more about trying to live as cheaply as possible, lower quality apartment for cheap, lower quality prostitution for cheap, cheap booze/cigarettes and hard drugs of all kinds easily accessible, very cheap visas, and casinos.

ha, thats an interesting take on cambodia.  theres def truth to it.. but imo, at least in siem reap. the apts are better quality for about the same price as thai.  in bkk, cosmetically they are good but they are thin walls and not well built imo.  put up fast and look contemporary but you can hear the person breathing next door.  just an opinion based on my experiences

its a bit of sarcasm.. i think everyone knows there are a ton of losers in cambo and maybe more than thai..  i was just merely saying,, the more thai goes downhill we will see the dodgier ones first i suppose.. dont take it personally , son

u have to define "good" , more sincere girls here.. but u def need to speak khmer.. if u are looking for a quick lay..yes,, more action in thai and viet

If someone wants to be close enough to travel to Thailand by car, Cambodia is the best choice.

Actually who cares anything else but a good Internet and cheap western food ? Then Cambodia also seems the best choice.

i can agree with this.  it is so easy here too, good food, and close to thai.. but the more u say this.. the more losers from thai come:)
