  1. Actually, the Victim should be issuing Civil proceedings for compensation and Punitive Damages against the perpetrators and the Night Club where this took place.

One of the huge problems with Night Clubs in all major tourist resorts in Developing poor countries is the very low level of security and alcohol/drug control in nightclubs. In several clubs, drugs are sold over the Counter like soft drink and there is no security safety.

Many bouncers are also untrained and very violent .

The Clubs also seem very friendly with local tourist police who often do not charge violent Bouncers at all and do not properly investigate crimes occurring at Club premises .

The entire night Club industry needs to be cleaned up and corrupt police kicked out of the force.

  2. It's very good news to see that some real justice will be achieved if corrupt officials are given the big stick !

Good news for Thai tourism too.

Thailand was once known as the Land of Smiles.

It can regain its reputation for the best Holiday destination in Asia if foreigners feel secure and safe again.

Thailand and its real people are very beautiful good hearted people.

Stamp out corruption and injustice and people will come back again to the Lost Land of Smiles.

  3. In order to discover what the real Pattata has to offer, you must know a local who can take you out of the Sex dens and explore the beauty and grace of its real people and its beautiful gardens and beaches and great food.

If you want to confine yourself you Walking Street, then you only see 1 % of what Pattata has to offer.

    Seek and you shall find.

  4. Whoever said Pattaya is awful is a complete idiot and liar!

I have been all over the world many times over and I can say that Pattaya has everything to offer for everyone no matter who they are or what they want.

Once you go there once, u will be back sooner than you think .

  5. In most western democracies, the Official Prosecuting Agency is required to be independent and impartial in deciding whether or not there is sufficient evidence to lay any formal charges. This includes an obligation to investigate any alleged criminal offence by listening to any exculpatory evidence as well as inculpatory evidence.

If the Police are not fair and impartial, it taints the entire administration of criminal justice which erodes the Rule of Law which underpins every civilised society .

So is Thailand civilised or just a barbaric totalitarian State which hangs its former heads of State without a fair trial?

  6. A charge of negligence in the administration of the rice scheme?

    A very odd charge!

Are they suggesting corruption ? If so, they should make that charge directly and prove it beyond any reasonable doubt.

I guess this is all part of the price the ex PM pays for being a loyal and dutiful sister to the deposed former PM who now calls Dubai home!

I would have thought that he should come back home and help his poor little sister out for trying to help the impoverished rural voters of Thailand who have backed the Red Party Brigade!

  7. That last post from Axact is offensive and disgraceful. Only an xxxxx would make such speculative and unfounded slurs on a victim of crime and his innocent father !
It matters not how affluent the victim or his family may be! What matters is that no one deserves to be attacked whilst trying to have a good time in Paradise!
    Shame on you!!

  8. Regrettably, young guns fly to an exotic island to let their hair down and release all their stress and frustrations at Home but let their guard down when they have a few too many beers.

Number 1 rule in a foreign county and at home:

Trust no one and watch your back!

Thankfully, Jack shall recover but l doubt he'll ever forget or even wish to return to Paradise.

    What a shame!

As for the cowards who struck and fleed, they will get their just deserts sooner or later: it's called Karma!!

    Jack from Downunder!

  9. Australia has the most beautiful beaches in the world but no match for the laid back culture of Thailand - not to mention the abundance of thinly clad beautiful creatures of the night who can make all your dreams come true . Let's be honest, if you have money, you can live like a King without all the baggage of life in a Western developed nation.

  10. Give Puket a miss and go to Pattaya which is much safer and has more to Offer to all travellers.

There are beautiful beaches, great hotels, lovely women and trannies and much more Tourist police looking after tourists. A great place for solo travellers and families too with great shopping and sight seeing too. Paradise on Earth

  11. I just let go of my Thai Isan girlfriend after 8 years of love and happiness . Or maybe she let go of me after waiting so long to have a real relationship in the real world with me back home.

If you love someone, set them free . It's really hard and agonising but if was never meant to be.

One thing I will say after 8 years: a Thai woman knows how to treat her man or men as Kings, unlike a lot of western women who treat is as invisible doormats.

    Such is life .
