My wife said she won't buy anything more from Chinese web site. I bought compresion runing shorts from their site 579 baht but they sent me a cheap one that listed for 90 baht on their site. She ordered sheets for 3,000 aht and when they came was not the quality she expected and looked cheap not like the photos they showed. She bought 2 outfits for 1,000 baht that she is sending back says tired won't buy from them anymore. -

Lawyer says no problem but actually could be a big problem especially since they are not married. If legally married you would need to divorce and law would require the 50/50 split of marital property. But since she is only his GF she could say the cars, motorbike, house or furniture were "gifts" -

Thailand’s Public Health Ministry Provides Guide for Foreign Visitors
Tony125 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
If you were bored in DR and Columbia you will be super bored here. I have been visiting Thailand for 21 years and can tell you that you have never seen it like this.In Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket main drags look like a ghost town with stores boarded up, clubs closed , malls closed , restaurants closed for in dining (take out only) or the next week limited in dining, no alcohol at restaurants presently even in Phuket sandbox. No entertianment venues open, you cannot use pools at hotels, parks closed , cannot walk on some beaches , curfue from 9PM ---4AM even 7---11 closes at 8PM. Students rioting in the streets. Thailand is NOT open and not a place I would visit at this time. -
Got SMS yesterday from Chulabhorn Hospital, Lakisi--Bangkok to come in Sept 9th for 2nd shot of AZ. That's a week earlier than the slip they gave me said when I got my first shot.

Bangkok used to flood alll the time especially in 2011 untill Thaskin hired engineers from Amsterdam to put in flood measures , pumps, locks ect. Same ashe hired engineer who built the Zakim Bridge in Boston to build the Rama9 bridge here which is a copy of ours. They need to do the same for Pattaya. Every heavy rain the beach or roads wash away. If they don't have the expertise to fix hire those that can.

People who retire in Thailand - Whats your plan?
Tony125 replied to Leveraged's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I worked for a Gov Agency and it was part of their health plan pkg of which there were many companies and plans to chose from as an employee. Also life long life insurance that they pick up part of cost. I could cancell the part I pay and still would get (or rather my wife) $70,000 that they pay for me. As I said in previous post you wife or a friend can do your retirement paperwork if you have a note from a Dr stating you are not able to travel and you give the person a note stating they have your permision. -

1. Planned for my retirement in my 20"s and carry a health insurance policy that covers me anywhere in the world and presently pay lesss than $150 a month at 73. Cannot be cancelled because of age, health conditions. Life insurance policy for about $200,000 which I can cancell to save money that wife and daughter share when I pass. Employer pension that my wife will get for the rest of her life when i pass at 75% of what I get. 2. No need for a Non-OA visa , was on a Non-O retirement but now a Non-O Marriage. Can always switch back if she died or marry another . The reason you don't see many care givers draging some old wheeel chair farang to immigration is that the person can have a caregiver/friend submit the forms for them with a letter from a Dr saying it's necessary or use an agent to process the extension. 3. After having a hear attack 7 years ago I considered it a wake up call. After recovering fully I realised I brought it on myself by letting myself go, eating junk and not exercising and getting overweight. I had been an athlete all my life. Got back to exercising , eating better (more fish, veggies, fruits), taking anti aging suppliments and feel great. If I have a stroke or become feeble weak I hope wifey will take care or I will find someone who will and there are some ederly homes here in Thailand that I would rather be in then overpriced careless ones in the US. -
Maybe you should at least take out accident insurance, not very expensive.

You said my numbers were xxxxx but as the link showed it's over 98% of unvaccinated people who are coming down with Covid now. Those are mostly antivaxers who don't want to take any vaccines or persons who are afraid of taking this new unfamiliar vaccine because of the new tek used to make it. Aslo many say it's not fully FDA tested and and an emergency use/expiramental drug. Well for those folks the below article is for you. Full approval for Pfizer Covid vaccine could come from FDA on Monday https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/20/full-approval-for-pfizer-covid-vaccine-could-come-from-fda-monday-report-says.html -

If you had an AZ here in Thailand and 2 Pfizer in the US why would you think you need to order Moderna for when you come back here. They are recomending a possinbel booster if you had 2 shots in the US 8 months down the line from your second shot but you have already had 3. Don't think you would need any booster shot till this time next year at earliest and definately not 2 Moderna shots. These are not supposed to be yearly shots.
