I will start by saying that this really is my friend and not me the few out there that know me know I am happily married.

He’s 34 good looking single works for a major company here makes good money, he's not wanting a commitment sick of doing the bar thing. Which he has done for ages has a few regulars also has a few normal girls as well. The problem is they are all looking for some form of commitment, live with him, money, marriage, kids and so on plus he told me he's over the condom thing. With Thai’s its difficult to just explain how it is or how you want it to be. They say yes but then just do as they like or as he puts it, start wearing his shirts, still there when he gets back from work moving in quietly. In the end he has to get tuff and throw them out again he's sick of doing.

He met this girl studying at Uni met by accident, she was on some uni work thing and met at his company. After meeting him she asked if he would like keep talking to her as she wants to improve her English. He said she is so hot he couldn’t say no (i have now seen her wow) he’s not interested in just helping stray Uni students with their spoken English, but after I saw her I had to agree with him you just couldn’t say no. He then told her look I’m not doing the typical English conversation let just talk about anything and everything she said perfect exactly what I’m looking for. Oh I should say she’s 20 just third year uni, family are from the south somewhere.

He was talking to her about his lady problems and how he just can’t get a girl to understand what he’s looking for. This is after a few months of talking to her of course when they got to know each other better.

The other day she came to him and made him this offer:

She would give him sex minimum 3 times per week, he can sleep with any other girl he wants to just don't involve her or throw it in her face, help with his house hold duties, clean his clothes, cook for him when she can and stay any night he wants. In return she said that she wants 50,000 per month he said no way then it went to 40,000 he's 95% sure she will say yes at around 33 to 30,000 which he is ok with. She actually said to him this is a business deal not interested in love, money, marriage or anything more from him. But keep her own place and live her own life she dosen’t want anyone to know so they both keep it a secret. She lives alone in a small apartment and is low key she dosen’t really know anyone there. Said to him don't come to my uni call and text me only after hours which works for him as he's working during the day and dosen’t have time. She doesn’t have any kids no bf and she is not married she seem to us very independent and knows what she wants.

We said oh you want to buy gold, jewellery, party, buy new clothes, new phone she said no, I’m not interested in any of that. She told him she wants the deal because she wants to buy a block of land 5 rai for 350,000 not far from her parents place. Her parents are paying her cost here, but this money she said she will save the whole amount to buy the land.

Any ideas I can see this could end in disaster and can all go wrong there are so many things here. For him it works out perfectly exactly what he wants as far as he can see what she wants (for now) Even though she 20 she looks older has maturity elegant girl not like a child and she certainly dosen’t think like one. She not a bar girl and never done anything like this at all but can see its benefit in it for both parties.

Has anyone had an offer like this if so what happen?

What do you think is the right money to pay?

Anyone have an agreement like this?

Would you walk way or take the deal if you were him?

I told him take the deal she is incredible hot, sexy, tall, cute, beautiful and has a brain. Not my type of girl for me too tall and about 50 kilo’s. I like them much smaller, but any normal man wouldn’t say no to her. (i’m not talking about the offer)

When I read these stories I am always amazed at them

To me its simple tell your wife its me or him and or just put your foot down and tell them how things will be!

If not they don't like it WALK AWAY simple !

There are many many many girls in Thailand and good ones!!!!! so why waste your time with this shit and problems you don't need it.

When I first came here and all these tricks and games were played on me, I just walked away simple!

I just said how can you fall in love with me in 2 weeks and then start demanding i pay for everything because you love me or in your situation wanting things to be how they want it.

There is give and take all they are doing is taking your giving and getting nothing back

I'm not some fly by night want a be scammer trying to create some false made up document or bullshit resume. I don't need it in Thai

As far as doing it myself I work for a living big hours I have family plus with everything else in life I just don't have the time to do it myself,

I earn enough money to pay someone to do it as well!!!!

What i was asking for is if anyone knows a reputable company here that can do it, I can get a western company but they are a lot dearer furthermore as I am in Thailand I was hoping there was a place that could do it as it would be easier.

If there is no one fine i will get it done overseas

They need to be skilled in executive employment know how to write in that context

What I have found in my years of experience employing Thai staff

It dosen't matter what they say how well they interview, they don't have logic or reason and what you do or say to help them or motivate them will make no difference at all!

I do not say this in a degrading or negative way at Thai's, its just cultural.

What I have found is this you keep trying to find the right person and really it's like winning the lottery when you do.

They just need to be naturally enthusiastic, good work ethic, interested in what they are doing in the field that you need them to do.

They are around i have found them it just luck really.

In saying this that person who is like a westerner in their work can be just as hopeless at other things as other Thai's and non caring or lack the drive to do other things.

If they genuinely enjoy their job and have a strong interest in it but more importantly have the inner drive to do it you will get a great employee, but you will never motivate or get a Thai to do more by incentives or better working condition or whatever other method you use.

As they just need to see it now, feel it now, get the benefit now, if not then they just can't do it, as they can't see the benefit or reason to do anything more.

My friend had a similar situation 

He didn't have another interest, but he had a girl that wouldn't leave him alone and went to his work at his apartment came at night all hours 

He just went to the cops and told them gave them her name and info

I said bad and bad Idea ....

But to my shock it worked they went and spoke to her he said they really gave her the once over and he never saw her again 

I don't know if he paid anything as i didn't ask him

You are asking do business here offer vendor finance? if you put give a deposit of 50% 25% or 75%?

As in Australia, if you want to buy a small business it virtually impossible to get finance for a business unless you are a home owner with equity or 65% deposit

So to Thailand, it would only be 5% of business sales that would offer vendor finance that i have ever seen, most don't do it as it too risky plus if your a westenter no hope.

Its nothing like our countries, and as far as a bank here lending you money to buy or set up a business no hope. Unless you had a wealthy Thai wife in that case you wouldn't need finance.

Only thing that i have seen is when you know a wealthy Thai and you borrow from them i have seen this happen a few times

I think if you have the right plan and have the ability to run a business you can make money in any economic climate

My friend bought a bar in Phuket that was no where and everyone said don't do it you will only lose money

But i thought his ideas and plan were good and said to him do it so did others

He has made a very good bar and is busy every night , so if you can do it with a bar you can do it with anything else

if you work here I said I have and showed him, that stuffed him up

It was his smart arse attitude and the smile on his face I got you buddy, plus he did say he is a police officer I said what in the Thai police he said yes!

Not True as I found out later when I did some investigation. I never have forgotten it due to his attitude

I'm not a dumb Thai cop he even made a remark along those lines to me as well

Here's a slight twist to this post that has been done to death

How many men now are really marring them or even meeting them? Now with Thai girls better off, internet , date sites, English is better so on,.,,,

When I first came as I said before I came for work and never knew about the bar game, after someone good man introduced me to it.

I suppose like most men first 3 month's loved it and wow the girls were so hot, cute, slim, sexy, beautiful after that got bored with it and I never gave it second look.

Now when friends come from wherever and they want to see it, because they never have seen it I go.

Wow its boring, boring and boring oh did I mention boring!

But what I will say is the girls now are not like before , fat, ugly , rude covered in tattoos (yes" some" had before) and on the plus side a lot more savvy more street smart than before.

Are there still men marring them really or not? If so must be a very small amount.

When I came I was very untrusting and tried to check and verify everything was very worried about anything I had to pay for.

As you gain experience and understand cost and the "people" (I don't mean in a bad way) then you relax more feel clam

When I understood more, I would really get angry and tell them to their face they are scamming me or I would say "hello I can speak Thai

But now I just laugh joke with them and say hey come on what the real price or bargain them down to a stupid price

then just say ok I'm joking and just pay the right price

Yes I agree with nanapong, I have lived in both Samui & Phuket and Phuket is just hmmm for many reasons

Want to feel your on an island, holiday, easy going, not too many people and I think less of those annoying Auzzie's

Cost wise Samui a bit cheaper but way, way over priced compered to the rest of Thailand

If you know where to look in Samui you can get very good cheap accommodation

I think sin sot will be a lot less than building a house

But I understand your situation and if that what you want to do ok do it, but there are many better ways to help her and still keep your money

as others here have suggested.

Her English is perfect she can understand anything has a degree in communication arts (Thai degree) hmm.

She now has a position working for a multinational company in Bkk she needs help in getting up to speed with office. She doesn’t know much!

I don’t really want the Thai type of company go but learn nothing company with 20 students per class which we have found!

I’m looking for maybe a smaller well-run company that only 3 to 5 students per class (I know it will cost more)and will really teach her how to use those programs.

As it’s a must as the company is western owned and operated most of the staff are westerners “nowhere to hide” so to speak.

I've seen people no idea of business, no plan, no system, just hair brain idea make millions of baht I know of 2 making a killing

so who knows what the answer is in Thailand just think of something give it a go you never know

I can remember not knowing where to look there were so many cute, sexy, hot little girls

Now young cute sexy skinny girls are few and far between

Funny this has come up

In all the years I have been living and going to Thailand never had a problem

Last time I was there I did use these outside ATM's as I always do and the card wouldn't work I remember having the problem thinking why wont my card work.

This was only 2 months ago I was there came home got the same call from my bank saying someone tried to book a top hotel in New York and bought ladies products for over 10,000

Of course I said it wasn't me

I too will never just use ATM outside or any where now only ones in the shopping centre with the guards there.

I had an issue myself around that time nothing like yours if you read my post you will know I'm not going into it

It was around 2002 not exact year don't want to say the right year

At the time Thai's cancelled my passport well in their eyes not in my countries eyes and I was on a list if found to be detained

After it was all sorted and they gave me back my passport I now had two the new one from my embassy.

As my embassy said the Thai's will never give it back. But to my shock the Thai's gave me back that passport.

With the company I worked with at the time I travel all over Asia and 1 time in my haste only weeks after this all happened I took my cancelled passport by my government and Thai's who if I was stoped with that passport was to be detained. I left Thailand when to 3 different Asian countries and returned on that passport nothing no one picked it up, not even me.

When I got home put my passport away I realized I used the old one and thought whole crap!!!

How was it I didn't get caught?

I then thought better I hand in my old passport to my embassy when I did and explained to them what I did and travelled on it they were in total shock and couldn't believe it. When the Consular General was informed of it he called me and said.

That most of the systems in Asia are not connected to the internet so they cant find out anything or know anything. He did say that the Thai's at that time were connecting all their custom office all over Thailand to the internet and also connect internationally

Of course today they all are so no chance of getting away with it now

From what I know I'm sure they have no information or list of you at that time.

All I will just say is this

It doesn't matter land, house ,car, shop for let business and I say this for Thai's and westerners well westerners that have been there too long lets say

They just pull prices out of their you know where!!!

I looked at trying to buy a business in Samui or Phuket on and off for years it was just too hard prices where crazy!

There is a formula you use to workout what a business is worth but try to apply it to any business there never works   

I have met other westerners that say the same thing there is no logic or method to price anything with them

Only thing you can do is just like always just go with the flow or like me give up!

Then by luck about 2 years ago I have now bought hotels in Phuket and Samui but I found an owner (Thai) who was reasonable I met him by accident at one of his hotels he was building

I will come back to Thailand in early June I have a 5 year contract with a company

I’m asking for any help from teachers that know what would be a good school and the cost

Last time I worked there I should say I worked as a consultant I’m not a teacher. I had a few teacher friends

So I know about you pay you pass, I know about the poor quality of education. I have looked at the insane prices they ask for rubbish education there. Moreso Australia will not accept or recognize any education results from Thailand.

Oh I should say I will live in Bangrak in Bangkok not far from the BTS, I will work in Sathorn road any good schools in that area I have a car we can drive somewhere as well not too far.

My son’s ages and class level, 7 years old, year 2 and 9 years old, year 4 I have spoken to their school here, they have suggested they will send them work each week that they will need to do so that they can pass this year as they have one more term. I don’t think there are any good schools in Thailand and the Australian government won’t recognize them anyway.

The other thing is my son who is 9 and in year 4 is clever most of his work is year 6 plus which makes it more difficult as there is a system here in Australia where you can teach that level to them and the child is tested in Australia including the work they have done for the year, but It will not suit my elder son because he’s highly intelligent, and more advanced than the level he must achieve.

My plan

I’m thinking I will find a private teacher to teach them, which will help them to achieve their results moreso help my son who has a high level of intelligence and their study will be tailored to the Australian curriculum. The school will also send them weekly what they need to study and produce for the school, which will be recognized by the Australian education department. I have made some enquires and it can be done. Only catch with this is they don’t get to interact with other kids of their own age, level and don’t have that going to school everyday, as they will study at home.

I’m thinking I will find them a school they can go to needs to be bi-lingual minimum as my kids can’t read, write or speak Thai (I’m sure very quickly they will pick it up) I’m not interested in what they teach as I will get a private teacher, but going to school will still keep them in a routine and still feel they are going to school of course it needs to be a good school.

My question is this, what do you guys who are in the know, what’s the best plan of attack?

I don’t want them to go to school all day them come home and be privately taught late into the afternoon plus they will be tired not a good time to really learn big a commitment for them they are only young. I was thinking that they go to a Thai school but 3 hours in the morning or afternoon they study at home with a private teacher.

Last thing is the private teacher, I’m tossing up over hourly rate or flat rate. Hourly rate means if you’re paid for 3 hours per day you have to make it last 3 hours and hang around for that time. On the other side of the coin they might need 4 or 5 hours due to the work load. What do you think is a good set rate I’m thinking between $30,000 to $60,000 baht per month? If I pay a low amount then the teacher will struggle and need to find other work. If I pay higher end then it’s a good job I think just 3 to 4 hours per day, plus the teacher is not having to look for extra work to cover their costs.

Or just pay and hourly rate?

I’m 90% sure my company can offer a work permit if needed. Should I offer this in my ad?

Should I offer transport cost?

Is a teaching degree important?

Is there any good schools in the area someone can suggest ?
