Unfortunately this is the case now with Phuket Immigration, anyone who does not use an agent and attempts to do it themselves for 1,900 baht, are in fact (in the eyes of the immigration officer) circumventing the system.

First it’s 14 nights quarantine, then 7 nights and now 1 night, yet people are still not happy. The mind boggles.

Thanks Joe, I already did this but they did not give a reason, there was an admin remarks box at the bottom but this was blank. I guess the IO processing the application was too lazy to type the reason for rejection, no surprises there.

Anyone experiencing their 90 days online reporting coming back as rejected ? Im following the steps, 1st report done in person and now doing the 2nd, successfully applied on the 24th Sept 4 days before due date (28th) and received reference number, received email today (27th) as rejected with no reason for rejection. Anyone else experiencing this ? What should I do ? Going in person is not an option for me.

My case is exactly the same as the OP, both cases are about falling under the minimum fund requirement when applying for an extension of stay. The purpose of the extension of stay (wether this be for marriage or retirement) has no significance. So I will offer my advice from my own experience, do not go below the required amount needed in the bank to apply for an extension of stay, no matter what the purpose of the extension of stay is. My advice of course is only for Phuket, as others have mentioned it all depends on each immigration office.

Last year I fell below the 400K for just one day, the amount was very minimal (was something like 4,000 baht), they refused my extension on these grounds and gave me a 60 day family visiting extension. They politely handed the passport back with a smile suggesting I try again in another 60 days, and not go under 400K. Overall experience: Brutal. Location: Phuket.

Yes they can, the Future Forward party guy (can’t remember his name) was the ideal candidate but he simply did not have the power to defeat the military junta.
