  1. Hi...

I am planning to move to UK by mid of 2016. I have a condo on my name. Should I sell it or is it possible I can owe it even if I don't have work permit or visa here? I mean just give it for rent or is there any other alternative? Do I get visa on basis of a condo on my name?

    Please help decide

    Thanks

  2. Cooking is my free time hobby but i wont store indian spices in bulk because the long u keep the aroma and the taste of masala fades. I always buy 2-3 packs and i strictly see the mfg date and buy fresh. But since u live in udon i can understand your need to stock up. Make sure that before u use those spices warm them in a pan . Sukhumvit 71 near shell has indian shop they have home delivery but if u need i can ask if they can send to u or u may want me to give the shop number so u can call them directly.

Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app

  3. Just heard on Twitter that it is flooding on Sukhumvit 50. Can anyone confirm this? It was only one report, also putting Bang Jak on alert. Any news as in the centre and need to know if I should dash home.

TV news reported Sukhumit 50, 54 and 56 starting to flood.

Affirmative. Just got off the Expressway and when coming down on Soi 50 I was not allowed to turn right, so had to go left towards Sukhumvit instead.

Police blocked Soi 50 south. I came from Minburi (Ramkhamheng Soi 160 - 168) and all was dry and sunny on my way in. Did not notice any floods close to Outer Ring, Rama 9 and Ram Inthra Expressway. God speed

Planing to go to Nakhon Nayok this afternoon from onnut, can anybody confirm the express way towards Bang Pa-In towards rangsit dry or not? Taking Onnut-Bangpa-In route exit to Nakhon Nayok on rangsit-Onkarak road.

  4. drive into Onnut Soi 46 about 2 km inside and then you may see a big Water Tower (circle) go further 150 meters and on left you may see 5 star chicken stall .. go further around 200 meters and on left you have see a soi number 1/1... take left turn into that and go straigh about 1.5m.... a very remote place... park car there and walk 20-30 mts... inside and ask there.... its just behind that house... I will be going tomorrow will try to upload video map if possible. :)

  5. I am using KTzmico since last 4-5 years and happily invested in Thai market but I never used their brokerage recommendations as I found out it to be good in long long term. Basically I am Intra Day Trader and for expats there are very limited (Hmmm... almost NO) English materials/brokerage reports. So I do my own research. You may want to try www.settrade.com here you get all the company information, balance sheet, 52week H/L, and most important various recommendations by brokerage firms.

You can register to various brokerage's free trial account and check in every morning their research reports... example I do it through kasikorn securities, they have a very good research on market very day (even though its a complete dot to dot tranlation from thai to english) but its still a good read. Another english version of a decent market analysis can be found on Philips online Electronic Mart... its a good read.

My market strategy.... I never got invested in small value stocks..example the stocks which move 1 satang, 2 satang or even 10 satang in a day (Having said that..many advance investors do that in huge bulk) as I am a Day Trader or Swing trader I go for valued stocks Kbank, BBL, Pttar which moves 25 satangs and + or - 2 or baht a trading.

If you need basic tutotials on stocks go to http://www.investopedia.com/ and very good startup for novice investor.

    Happy Investing!

  6. I've bought some in MAKRO couple of weeks ago(here in Phuket). Around 250Baht/kg but a lot of fat......

    Gerd

    Cheers Gerd,

I'll try the MAKRO here. BTW if you gently fry the mince you can reduce the fat and in fact it can enhance the taste. Especially if you start off with onions and garlic.

If you are in bangkok you can get the fresh lamb/mutton meat at bangrak market (near robinson bangrak) but you need to go early. But if u are somewhere near sukhumvit then march towards onnut soi 46/1. they have the big farm and this is the place from where they send the lamb meat to other parts of bkk. Open all the time... u get the fresh daily... buzzz me here if u need more info... or place ur order here.. (eieieieieieiei) :)

  7. Please accept my apologies if this is not the right forum to post my questions...

    My question..

I am an Indian National with proper Thai Visa and Work Permit. I would appreciate your comments/suggestions on . Can I Cross the border through Aranyapathet (sorry if I spelled wrong) and visit Wat Angkhor and enter back through the same check point?

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
