  1. I realize this adds little to the OP. However it always bugs me when an OP starts a new topic then does a "vanish".

No added info , nothing. I'm a hack TV contributor. My intentions are good, and sometimes miss giving correct ifo. Basicslly i try and assist.

I admire and store info from members like elvijero and of course ubonjoe. What's with many random op's that seems suss then offers no input to clarify.

So someone with 3 Citizenships and Passports from 3 different Countries somehow forgets to renew 2 of them?

And the remaining, valid, Passport is "stolen by a woman supposed to get him his extension"?

Red flags all over this I think.

    Patrick

Yes Patrick rubbish OP. Little info. No reply and who has ever heard of ban with 4 day overstay. No info about the procedure at airport and stamps in pp.

  3. Long shot, but clearly you don't have the required amount in income from home country? If you were close to the amount you could opt for income SD from your embassy. Prob suits those people living bkk. All they do is reject. Unlikely. Typo above above reentry permit. The multi gives you unlimited. Available and some airports. If your not changing your address proof of where you live prob not asked for.

  4. They ask the questions because its airline policy for many airlines that if your entering via flight to obtain visa exempt entry they require onward flight. Not always enforced. AA often does to name one. Side example...Thai get 15 day visa exempt to Japan. I take the Thai gf OFTEN. Every time they ask to see the onward flight. The airline is responsible to return you if you are not admitted to country your entering.

Aside from all that. Saigon is fab  place. I go every several weeks. BTW zero wait time at Thai consulate. Nice break from wonderful Thailand. Cheap booze.

The consulate will accept a bus or train ticket showing exit from Thailand but you probably wouldn't be able to check in for your flight without a paid for onward ticket

Have you done this, because that certainly is not my experience. In fact never heard of that before. The consulate insists upon FLIGHT out. Also anyone with a visa as per the intent of this OP will NOT be refused boarding plane. That applies to folk intending to obtain VE stamp on arrival. And yes many airlines may refuse boarding.

I don't care how you feel about it. Thats your problem. Statistically, innocents killed by firearms vs population is pretty low and going lower. The school shootings are the real tragedy.

We don't have to retreat and call 911 in our own home (most states), and don't have to fear prosecution if its justified. Wont even be arrested. I can't see how this is a bad thing but up to you of you wanna drink the hater-ade.

Ummm perhaps you can google something like "list of countries for deaths by firearms" USA over 10 per 100k. Most other western countries about  ONE. BUT never let facts distract you.

You can, its truemurderedl walmart locations but a  vast majority in my area sell AR15's and ammunition.

Yes. The right to protect yourself without fear of prosecution is a wonderful thing.

Yeah and helps keep them up the top end of murderes by firearms. A stat to be truely proud of. Other western countries so jealous

  8. Hello...sad to say this will all end in tears. You can't even afford few grand to get her here. Also she/you want start family. It just gets better.

Agree on one point, being that young folk do generally do not have my income. However the young folk providea vibe and interest to places like district 1 saigon and old quarter han oi. Without them it would be very boring for some. Tourists have many spin offs. Mind you the is under very few USA  tourists for country that population. Only bit more than AU yet pop 11 times au

  10. I'm not USA but travel Saigon often. I just applied for letter of approval. There was a new notice below the option box. Words to the effect ...USA pp holders will only be issued one year multiple.

OP I agree not fair. Nor fact USA and AU along with many others countries do not get 15 visa exempt such as UK.

its all weird. One year multiple perfect for me (I go every 7 weeks) but useless for backpackers.

  11. While it is important to to honest in any visa application sometimes too much information can cause issues. Your friend can simply state that he will be providing accommodation and living expenses for her. If he wants to make the letter a stat dec he can do that at the au embassy in bkk or in AU. Not necessary but some advise useful. If you do google search, type " visa to Australia for Thai partner" skip the adds and look for ozvisa. There is a comphensive guide with links to forms to download and sample letter of invitation etc
