Kath70, if you had been walking at night in London or New York, or Manchester or wherever and had seen something suspicious, would you have walked back to check it out? Jeez you girls must grow up and realise Bangkok is not some bounty bar tropical advert full of people who want to assist you in getting home to your guest house.
Give me a break Toni157.
Did I say I saw something suspicious - NO
Did I say I needed assistance getting home - NO
I was merely passing on, in a woman friendly environment, something that happened to me. What if what "caught my eye" was someone hurt that needed MY assistance.

I must admit, I thought BKK to be a pretty safe place for farang women - that is until last Saturday night.
I was walking home down my soi off Sukhumvit Road at around midnight when something caught my eye. I went back to check it out only to find a Thai man jump up out of the hedge openly fondling his nether regions. He had a huge grin on his face and seemed to enjoy the fact that I had spotted him.

I would love to come too - so should we say V9 at 8pm? Having never been there, is it best that we book a table and then at least we will be able to know which group we should be with?

Thank you so much for the recommendation, I will give it a whirl!

I am a 35 year old, single, expat lady recently moved to Bangkok and wondered if there were any other ladies out there who would benefit from a regular monthly get together for dinner and drinks?
I started a similar group in Hong Kong years ago and it was a lot of fun trying new restaurants and bars. Some of the people I met through these evenings have since become life-long friends.
Anyway, if you are interested, please respond and once we have a big enough group we can organise our first event.!
Hair Rebonding

Just a word of caution when getting rebonding done - if you have highlighted hair, it can really dry it out and make it super frizzy on the ends as well as extremely brittle. I recently went to Schwing to get it done and they didn't explain that to me and I was a litttle disappointed with the results.
