Could anybody tell me whether or not the Cha Am Global Golf Course is open or closed. I believe it was known by another name about 1/2 years ago. Be grateful of any advice on this.

I have heard that if you are able to show a 'Work Permit' or a local Thai driving licence. You are entitled to enter an attraction at the Thai Admission Price. I am not sure of the validity of this. Would appreciate any guidance. I have paid the thai price when with University students. Maybe someone could give me advice, or personal experiences. Thanks.

I would be grateful of any advice or information on garages or individuals who may have a reliable second hand car for sale, (with AC ) in the Hua Hin/Cha Am area. I am looking to pay around 150 000 baht. (which isn't a lot I know).
Any relevant info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I sometimes visit Hua Hin. Does anybody know of any hotel with pools that I can use and pay a fee. Preferably near the centre of the town. Thanks.
Most of the hotels do offer deals for non-residents, ranging from the Hilton (which charges a ridiculous sum, more like a room rate) down to the Sport Villa (south HH), which charges 50 baht. One I tried & liked was the Majestic Beach (near the Palace) which charges 100bt a day per person.
These prices may have changed, especially as we're now in the peak season, so check first, OK?
