Hello All, Where am I most likely to find the most affordable/ best quality prescription eyeglasses in SEAsia (Chiang Mai, Laos (LP and Vientiane), Cambodia (Siem Reap), or Vietnam (Hoi An) ? Are any of these places similar in cost and quality to Malaysia? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Hello All
A family member has asked that I return with some of this from an upcoming summer visit to Chiang Mai. The only CM source I can find online is
Doi Chang Coffee, but does anyone know if there are any other retailers (supermarkets?) that sell this? If only Doi Chang,
does anyone know where I can locate a Doi Chang coffeeshop / retailer that sells it? Preferably the Old City area, but can also try other possible sites (malls,etc.).
Any / all suggestions are appreciated. Image attached.
Thanks.

Thanks all. I did both Hanoi and HCMC a couple of summers ago, so am now aiming for Hoi An with a day trip or two from there to Hue. I also did Vientiane and liked it so much that I want to tack it on to the visit to LP. Is Da Nang worth a day or two? I've got about 35 days, inc. about 10 days between trips in CM.

Anyone think CM, LP, Siem Reap, Vientiane, and Hoi An would be too much history , culture, and 'laid-backness' for one extended trip? Any suggestions on connecting all by affordable air transport , without excessive backtracking via BKK or DMK, are appreciated. Thanks.

And what about Hoi An in Viet Nam (another UNESCO site). I'd like to visit both LP and Hoi An this summer from Chiang Mai. Would they be somewhat similar experiences? Thanks.

Great. Thanks.

V. Quiet when I stayed there in August, but pleasantly so. Can you share the name of your 500 baht riverfront room with balcony? Thanks.

Now planning a short visit to Yangon and am looking for a nice, affordable downtown/ central hotel within easy walking distance of tourist sites and restaurants. WiFi is important and budget is $ 125 or less per night. Are the Grand United hotels a good option?
Thank you.

I've always been able to find 38, 40, 42 inch waist brand name trousers (lengths 30, 32, 34) at ground floor open plan vendors at Tesco and Big C and Pantip Plaza. Dockers, Eddie Bauer, Polo, Gap. I've been told that they're 'factory seconds/rejects' due to minor irregularities.

Thanks again. Off to Krabi shortly and really looking forward to my stay there.

Thanks. It looks like I'll focus on the food and land based sights. Perhaps wading at high tide if feeling adventurous.
Thank you.

Thanks. Perhaps a second look at what the sea has to offer is in order.

Hello
As I'm not really into water activities nor island hopping tours , is there enough in Ao Nang/Krabi town to keep me occupied/interested for 5 days July end? Any/all suggestions much appreciated.
Thanks.
Thank you.

No worries. Thanks again.

Thanks. Various on line booking sites indicate that BKK Air fly in/out of Suvarnabhumi? The last time I flew with them there was even free access to a dedicated lounge, VTN I think.
Thank you.

Hello All
Other than the differences in price, are there any other pros/cons when comparing the different carriers (Thai, Bangkok Airways, Air Asia) for flights from CEI to Bangkok?
Thank you.
