Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but if it was just for his girlfriend, couldn't he have just FaceTimed, or Skyped her rather than doing a livestream for everyone to see? Or was it a moneymaking scheme?

I doubt he will get a jail sentence. Probably just deported with a blacklist ban for a while.

His girlfriend was their in the restaurant with him and part of the act that was to be broadcast for his social media platforms which in all accounts is his full time job being that he has over 700k subscribers on one platform he appears to be quite successful.

  2.

If you have a multiple entry visa you don't need a reentry permit, but you can stay only 90 days per entry.

If you have a 1 year extension based on marriage you need a reentry permit if you don't want to loose this extension when leaving the country.

    He can stay 1 year

Yes but he should do the Re-entry permit every time he leaves Thailand.

Only in his 2nd year He has stated he has a Multy Entry Non OA, that enables him to come and go during the first 12 mths upto the validity of his visa without a re-entry permit. Its a Multy Entry Visa.

And after the 2nd year?  Do you have to apply for new Non OA out of country or continue the same policy as 2nd year?

  3. I doubt there will be an explosion in local theft, yet with the increased number of passports on the streets will undoubtedly lead to an increase in random lost and stolen passports.  This must be good news for local international crime rings, since one of the tools they require are passports.  On the other hand, for tourists losing a passport, replacements are issued within days.  In smaller terms, the inconvenience is not much of an issue.  The policy of checking passports at check points will police against the random overstay, but unless a passport is required when paying the ticket - B2000 will be your getaway ticket.

  4. Something I am finding very interesting.

Over the past few months of protests, there have been a considerable number of bombings, shootings, and deaths.

The army commander General Prayuth [sic] has asked for a stronger police response, investigating and accounting

The top Police General Adul, has asked for closer police enforcement and accounting.

Prime Minister and later caretaker PM Yingluck has requested stronger police coverage and investigation

Both sides of the arguments have asked for the police to do better work or at least a better accounting

The bombings, shootings and injuries surely by now number in the hundreds.

So the question is.. ?????? Where are the Police???

Have any arrests been made ????

This latest killing was reported by one news media report as the police when they got to the scene , estimated the victim was dead at least 3 hours. Is the closest Donut shop that far away ???

A open suggestion to Kn. Suthep may be for him to have some of the gang boycotte the local donut shops and not let all the police in..... apparently they are spending too much time away from the scene of all the incidents to apprehend anyone, even a suspect for any of the shootings, bombings, grenade throwing, beatings or other forms of death and injury.

So the ? is WHY NOT, What are you police doing...... looking foir helmetless motor bikers ??

The police are all out solving the fertilizer incident…

  5. The Israeli's?????

Do they not have a travel warning for any country beside Israel??

    cant you read

Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom are on top of the freedom travel index able to visit 173 nations without visa.

Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg and the United States all have free access to 172 nations.

Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands third at 171 countries.

Israel is 20th on freedom travel index with 144 freely-accessible countries.

The poll by Henley & Partners consists of some 219 countries as destinations.

  6. In short here is my story. Thai ex-wife remarried and moved to Europe with our son without my consent. We have been divorced for seven years. They moved to Europe about one year ago. I had traveled to Thailand to meet him and he was gone. She did not tell me until after they were there.

I had always paid child support to her in Thailand and was able to spend time with my son when I was visiting Thailand.

What are my rights now? Regarding child support and custody.

I appreciate any information and advice you have, thank you.

  7. It would not be practical having a boat service from Hua Hin to Samui, looking at a map, that would not be a ferry ride you would enjoy. The ferry from Surat Thani is much more comfortable and closer to Samui than the options in Chumphon, that i am aware of. And if it is the ferry you must avoid, minivan to Bkk and fly to Samui. It is nice to get out of town with those restless feet, although Hua Hin's nightlife has quite a variety deep into the night.
