  1. I've looked at people who contribute frequently to this forum. I have examined their posting behavior. This is what I think

    1. Mini Pats

I've written about these pipsqueaks before. These people are the wannabe expats who are here in Thailand on sub-standard remuneration packages that exclude school fees and accommodation. These people are the munchkins who claim to be expats and post ad-nauseam about their salaries. These clowns make me laugh. Never forget that real expats will NEVER post on a forum like this.

    2. Social Posters

There are lots of lonely men out here. They live in Nakhon Nowhere. They are socially isolated and bored. These guys seem to represent a fair-sized chunk of this forum's regular contributors. On the whole, I like these guys. They're straightforward and honest. Sometimes they've got a lot to offer.

    3. Gentleman who post under the influence of alcohol

This a massive category. Lots of men submit their masterpieces after one jar too many. The results are usually horrendous. Other men seek to engage in intellectual debate when really they should be taking a cold shower and getting ready for bed. I guess some men just don't know their limitations.

    4. Men with an agenda

Some men post because they have an agenda. They proselytize; they preach. Their tone is overtly moralizing. Needless to say, the causes they advocate are invariably whacko, immoral and just plain wrong. Welcome to Thailand.

QUESTION: why else do people post on this forum?

  2. About 15 minutes to find her and 2 months to get the divorce papers

Kitty Kat ... are you Gay?

Did you marry a woman here in Thailand ... w00t.gif

Or forgot which ID they were using - some people actually use more than one at the same time on here believe it or not.

Korean heartthrob one minute, TG the next. . .

But Reverend Johnny, surely this applies to you, too.

You've had so many different usernames, how on earth do you track them all?

From a strictly moral POV, of course.

  3. To be honest, I don't give a toss one way or the other but when he says shit like there's nothing wrong with prostitution from a "moral POV", he deliberately ignores the deep emotional scars that kind of life leaves on far more of these women than he finds convenient to admit.

Sure, if two parties are consenting adults, why not? It's her decision, right? Yes I suppose it is

That seems a very reluctant concession, as opposed to a firm statement of obvious fact.

The negative effects you see are not inherent in the work, but the result of how society treats the workers. Once they are accepted and respected and the industry legalized, their life vastly improves.

Working as a corporate lawyer, in drugs law enforcement, as a broker on wall street also changes people, in many cases leaving deep emotional scars. The fishing industry is by far more physically dangerous.

The denigration of sex workers comes from archaic moralizing by obsolete religious/social control brainwashing.

None of which has anything to do with my own personal life.

I have never claimed to be a do-gooder, I'm motivated by self-interest and am completely open about that with all concerned.

However my own view on self-interest is that sustainability requires you to provide a fair exchange of value, what goes around comes around and being purely selfish is short-sighted.

Lots of guys simply pay cash, buy cars and houses whatever in exchange for their companionship.

If I were to pay for them to finish school and attend university instead is that morally worse?

Your projections about subservience etc are just your own fantasy, believe me girls leave me much more self-assured, clear about their goals and very equipped to accomplish them.

And I think most importantly they know if they just seek to extract a lot of money in a short time by deceiving their partners, they won't end up having a happy life. Honesty and openness, fairness and consideration, delivering solid value for the value received are core values throughout my life, and what I do my best to teach those that live with me.

Obviously it doesn't always take, but no matter how cute and enthusiastic a performer a girl might be, if I see she's going to take the "dark side" and start lying and scamming to get on in the world, out she goes.

    <deleted>

Dress it up in fake erudition to your heart's content but even the most committed whoremonger, sex tourist or sexpat would quite rightly suggest that your activities would draw more than a passing interest from law enforcement.

That you have the audacity to compare the mental and emotional scars left on many prostitutes to the superficial ethical conflicts one might experience while being a corporate lawyer or a Wall Street broker beggars belief.

It also illustrates the lengths to which you will go to justify your depravity.

Only an individual adrift in a world in which his genitals make the rules would dream that such a diatribe could even begin to explain away what he does with such flippancy.

What do you mean the negative effects aren't inherent in the work?

You know that's not true and I'm stunned you tried that one on with the forum. Of course they're inherent in the work. A lot - not all - of them despise what they have to do/endure in order to make money.

    Quality. You're 100% right.

    Reverend Johhny is morally bankrupt.

Keep up the good work. Seems to me that you despise these sick whackos as much as I and other normal people do. Educated Thais also detest this farang garbage.

How the bloody hell can a farang be allowed to come here and make it his business to teach desperately poor girls to become prostitutes.

  4. When they're ready to go? What, are you fattening livestock? Who are you to determine something so vulgar? Some kind of perverted finishing school you run up in Issan? Jesus, I thought this forum was weird but my God….

You comments about WYM's finishing school are interesting. I've seen posts like this before on this forum.

I'm now 100% sure that WYM posted on this forum in the past and was banned.

I remember he talked about coercing little farm girls into lives of prostitution.

I know I'm not wrong. There really was a guy a while back who talked about his "finishing school".

BigJohnnyBKK is the fellow you seek, he has returned and after a short period of restraint has begun proselytizing again, finding a way turn every thread he encounters into an exposition of his real/imagined lifestyle.

He also likes to speak of tolerance and respect for sex workers while using terms like "good girl" to make his point out of the other side of his mouth.

to his credit, he did not speak of coercion but does talk about making financial arrangements with parents and teaching his women in an exchange of services for value. He is quite proud of his finishing school and claims to offer his services only to those of lower education, unspoiled by by urban and western influences.

Okay, so his name's Johnny. I see you too have noted his proselytizing tone and penchant for dragging debates down to the lowest possible level.

His manner makes me think of those whacko cult leaders who operate whacko "churches" in places like Texas and California.

Henceforth perhaps we should refer to him as Reverend Johnny. And I guess his finishing school could be The Church of Isaan Edification.

Maybe I'll start a new thread: Reverend Johnny and the Church of Isaan Edification

  5. I think there's a bit of confusion there

But of course in the end, their choice what they want to do with their lives once they've left, and I'm not going to judge them, nothing wrong IMO with sex work from a moral POV.

No. There's no longer any confusion at all. You have been banned from this forum countless times. I can that see that now.

You're not wanted. Why don't you just go? It ought to be very clear by now that no one subscribes to your sick views.

And please stop talking about morals. You wouldn't know what a moral is even if one were to come and slap you in the face. You have no morals at all.

  6. When they're ready to go? What, are you fattening livestock? Who are you to determine something so vulgar? Some kind of perverted finishing school you run up in Issan? Jesus, I thought this forum was weird but my God….

I've just checked the rules for this forum.

    26) Not to create multiple accounts. Any member found to have more than one account on the ThaiVisa Forum will be suspended. Suspended or banned members found creating additional accounts will be banned immediately.

WYM is someone who posted in the past and was banned. It's definitely him. I remember how he talked about "preparing" uneducated farm girls for a life of prostitution.

  7. I don't think human beings need to be "matched" in superficial aspects like age appearance class race religion, as if they were furniture or part of a cutlery set.

It's this kind of judgmental attitude that "just isn't right".

Who people choose to get together with and their reasons aren't for others to judge or make snide comments about.

Western women have known for a long time they are on the losing side when looking for a mate, it's been a buyer's market for a long time for men.

Those of us left with only stale goods for choices go to another market is all.

far from being judgmental i simply believe there should be a modicum of commonality there.

given your remarks about western women in the next two sentences, id have to call you a hypocrite.

Well observed. This "WYM" guy posts often. He preaches tolerance but strikes me as one of the this forum's least tolerant contributors. He seems unable or unwilling to accept points of view that differ from his own.

Describing western women as "stale goods" speaks volumes.

  8. So your wife makes, what…$600 a month as a teacher and you make less? You come out here and publicly state that? Why would you not return to school and educate yourself into a money making career?

You do realize you can make a starting wage of 200,000 baht per month living in Bangkok and commuting to work for Cathay Pacific as a pilot? Flight school and a few years at a local airline…its not that hard. But if you look the way you do in your picture and can't change your current work ethic (i.e. extreme laziness), better stick with your teaching gig - you'll never cut it with the big boys.

you'll never cut it with the big boys.

Aren't you supposed to be that little guy claiming to be a midget?

  9. I take your despicable "sewer" comment as "moralizing" in a much more strongly negative sense than advocating for tolerance and acceptance of individuals' choices.

Silly. You're just allowing subjectivity to triumph over objectivity.

Drop your agenda. Step back. Review things. Understand that you're not responsible for the actions of your parents, nor should it be your life's work to vindicate their actions.

I can see you're not especially bright, but with a modicum of effort you should be able to work it out.

  10. Nothing to do with my actual point.

Weak, lame, and yet all too predictable.

On any forum, those who moralize the most will always run when confronted with unpalatable truths.

It's a shame you're not stronger and more intelligent -- we could have discussed your unresolved mother issues. I could have helped you.

  11. What sluts and prostitutes have less or more of is irrelevant. You do NOT marry a sewer.

What is the basis for your offensive characterisation of women who choose to exercise their right to do what they like with their bodies?

If you were a tad less stupid you'd examine and re-examine your overt defensiveness.

I think you have unresolved issues. And no, I'm not talking about your rather obvious OCPD; I'm alluding to your "mother issues".

  12. Well what a pompous wanke_r. You terms like SLUT AND PROSTITUTE.

Can't wait to you find the so called "Mrs right" only to have her maybe screw you over or pick another farang when she tires of your narrowed minded ways. First of all if you need to ask that question on here you, im surprised you have made it this far in life.

Ive only lived here two years. Have the good and bad bar worker and same in office workers.

Take a leap of faith just work it out for youself. Have to leave mummies hand eventually

Also try and learn to treat all women with respect.

When I first read this, it seemed a bit harsh. But then I read the OP again, and you're absolutely right. At the end of the day, they're all women. And one thing I've found to be true in TH is the "sluts and prostitutes" often times have less of that immaturity I spoke about in my previous post.

the "sluts and prostitutes" often times have less of........

What sluts and prostitutes have less or more of is irrelevant. You do NOT marry a sewer.

  13. I met my wife after I had been here 6 months, we dated for almost a year then went for it, marriage, babies. We now have 4 kids together and now married for 12 years. We are 18 years apart and have as great a relationship today as we had when we were dating. We have a very involved life raising our children together. Honestly I couldn't possibly live without her and I think while she could live without me, it would be horrible for her. We both share virtually identical outlooks on raising children, we both agree we should follow her parents blueprint and should definately not follow my parents blueprint. So far our kids are fantastic, good at school, well behaived and extremely close to both mom and dad. Maybe this is more info that required but I'm such a happy camper, just wanted to share....

    "just wanted to share...."

    Good story. Well worth sharing.

  14. There'll never be a right if you are not content with what you have. Try to adapt - both ways!

My wife won't even take a glance if Brat Pitt, Tom Cruise, Capri (?) sitting next to her! She has no vanity though she can afford to spend from her family background or from me. We argue often for several decades. There's no hypocracy and hide our feelings. We've learned to adapt to each other, more from her part, as a female, of course! Oop, can't say that, can I?

My advice here is, be yourself, and try to adapt to fit in with each other, but don't be too hypocritical, guided by the Western way, for you'll be the one who sufferes at the end if your practise that.

You obviously have a very relaxed approach to spelling, grammar and sentence structure, but I'm sure you mean well.

All the very best to you and your wife.

  15. well ive had about a hundred goes, and ive still not found the right one yet but i shall persisit in my search,as they say the right one must be out there some were.

    Well good luck!

Sometime it helps a bit to stand back from things and perhaps accept that you may be doing something wrong.

Men have their "types", but are often too dumb to see that these "types" are wrong 'uns.

It took me a long time to work out that a thirty year-old miniskirt is usually just trash. Ditto tattoos and excessive jewelry.

  16. The term "Mrs Right" means "the right THAI woman for you".

For obvious reasons, then, this is a thread for men who've found the right woman. It's not a thread for whackos or slut-mongers who can't form normal adult relationships.

My guess is that a large number of foreign men had at least one failed relationship (often with a Thai prostitute) before they smartened up and found Mrs Right.

Contrary to what a lot of people might tell you, I think "romance tourists" who come to Thailand in search of a wife are no less likely to find Mrs Right than ex-pats who live here.

Sometimes people get lucky and find Mrs Right very quickly; other men take a fair bit longer.

It seems to me, however, that most men get there in the end.

So how long did it take you to meet Mrs Right?

  17. When I started my 'international gypsy' life (with actual degreed skills), nomads didn't conjure up pictures of landless tribesmen living in tents because that's exactly what they were. And their camels were almost as up themselves as these gobby new IT types.

    Actual-degreed skills

I bet the likes of Bills Gates and Mark Zuckerberg envy you enormously!

  18. Easy to brows through 162,432 people who put their politics out there for anyone to see.

My point is Thais are very political and very open about it.

Your figures are wrong. Thus far the Messiah has amassed 1,621,397 likes

You're right though about Thais being political. They're the same in this respect as people in most other countries.

If you're unable to discuss politics with your wife or girlfriend, it may be due to communication problems.

My figures are correct you didn't look at the link! Ah habiggrin.png

I looked at the link but I don't see your point.

Sure, one of the Messiah's Facebook posts has got over 160,000 likes, but the FB page itself has about ten times as many.

Discussing the monarchy is a bit different: you may find Thais reluctant to discuss succession issues. The name Vajiralongkhorn is generally whispered rather than spoken.

Do you mean normal bars or slut bars? If the former, try Songkhla; if the latter; try Samui.

I believe there are used bookstores in Had Yai & NST.

Some people prefer the Andaman to the Gulf Coast. The water is often clearer.

Some places in the south are quite isolated and you can go a long time without seeing another farang.
