What if you don't have a blue book ?.

A question for foreigners who have the car registered in your own name. Do you have to get a letter from immigration every year when you re-tax the car ?.

Typical of todays thinking. When I owned my business I never ran out of stock. We called it stock control. Maybe that is why my business was so successful that I was able to retire at the age of 50, 20 years ago. The reason it takes 2 to 3 days to complete my basket is because I am in conversation with the store awaiting items to come back into stock. While waiting other basic items go out of stock.

Is anyone else have problems with Makro Pro since it changed from Makro Click ?. Many items I used to order on Click are not available on Pro. When I contact my branch they do have in store. Stock control on Pro is also very bad. I usually spend 2 or 3 days filling the basket, just when I am about to place the order some items are no longer in stock ( but they do have in the store). I end up having half my order via Pro and the rest via a very helpful staff member in the store via Line. Also not so much of a problem, but just annoying the 2 invoices come to more that 3,000 Baht but still have to pay 99 Baht delivery charge. I now only buy items that I can not get anywhere else and spend about 25% of what I used to spend.

I have had 2 POls 1 government and 1 private, both had to be emailed to me . I used the village head man to countersign both times they were accepted.

Tried Kasikorn Bank and SCB both refuse. Agent may be the final answer, where to find an agent ?.

They are both English. Just called them and they will go back to immigration to try and get the certificate of residency. Thanks will keep you updated.

Hi guys, my friends needs your help. They have a house here in Nakom Phanom on a 30 year land lease, arrived this time on a non-immigration visa valid for 3 months. Every bank they have tried to open an account with have refused, most giving the reason they they have to have a 12 month visa to qualify. As he will be unable to get a 12 month extension without a bank account with 800,000 Baht in. How do they proceed ?. It’s a Catch 22 situation.

I bought an item from ebay and paid the import tax at point of purchase. I was very surprised a few weeks later to get all the tax refunded.

Just flown Bangkok - Dubai with Emirates. Everyone had to wear a mask and constant messages about keeping your mask on. Then flew Dubai - Cairo _ Hurghada with Egypt Air. Almost no one was wearing masks on the aircraft or Cairo airport. Back in Egypt now for a few months and not one mask have I seen. Everything is like it was before COVID. Even my Thai wife no longer wears a mask. It's good to be back to normal.

Hello, so I have had a Intex above ground pool now for more than 2 years and use it almost every day. I am now thinking of building a in-ground pool with the help of my local builder friend. When I say in-ground I want it to be 60 cm below ground and 30 cm above pool size 2 meter by 6 meter. That will be 2 meters longer than mu current pool. That way the water pipes can be at ground level if ever I have to do maintenance. I want to keep it simple, just 1 inlet, 1 outlet & a skimmer. I have never had to drain my pool, so if I ever have to I can pump the water out. MY QUESTIONS to you all. Has anybody built your own pool ?. What if any problems did you have ?. Any advice will be grateful. Is there an inlet that I can fix the pool vacuum to the same as the Intex system.
