This law about child seats has been established last year September already for the whole country. But nobody seemed to care...

If you have a plastic septic tank, use chemicals as little as possible to clean the toilet because of the bacteria, there are also organic cleaning liquids which are bacteria friendly

And never use the silly blue chemical things that people hang into their toilet cysterns. They distroy the bacteria in the septic tank. Also there should be an overflow of the septic thank which allows the now grey water which comes out of the septic tank to flow into a separate soakway made of cement rings. I have my septic tank now for more than 18 years and had not to pump out anything there. The precleaned grey water goes into one of the cement ring tanks and then I have an additional overflow of that one which goes further down into the garden. This is no problem here, because we are on a slope. So it drains well. We also have quite rocky and sandy soil (unfortunately) that helps to let the grey water soak into it. And if you want to do it really well, you should lead a 1,5" vent pipe from the plastic septic tank up the house wall to roof height and put a T-Fitting on top so the rain can not go down the vent pipe. With this you will not have any bad smell if the weather conditions are not so good.

These are no septic tanks, these are just the ordinary cement rings that let the grey and black water sink into the ground. You should install a real plastic septic tank only for the toilets and let it overflow into one of those cement rings. The grey water from the showers and the kitchen can be directed directly into another tank of these cement rings. The overflow of these can be lead to the garden. Maybe dig a pit maybe 1 m deep and fill it with gravel. So the overflow will go into that hole. Of course it also depends on the soil condition. If it is very dense and has a lot of clay, it will be quite difficult for the grey water do seep into the soil. Just make sure that the overflows are not near a well location in order fo avoid contaminating the well water...

Most effective and lethal. With laser pulse travelling 300 times faster than the speed of light, I'm surprised none of the 5 Eyes alliance considered developing such weaponry and installing them on their military aircraft.
Since when can laser light travel 300 times faster than the speed of light, if it consists also of a light beam????

I think one of the catamarans is moored in Bangrak in Samui since a few monts already. The Pattaya - Huahin Ferry writing is not there anymore. But about 1 year ago or so, the two of them were moored at the same pier for a few weeks with the full name on them still....

They are already flying 3 flights a day since a few days. That is nothing new....

yes, somebody really needs new batteries. After my calculations 100'000 tourists in 90 days would be about 1111 per day and not 10'000.....

That's what I did. I bought a Stiebel Eltron Waterfilter and filter now my drinking water from our tap. We have a water tank and a prefilter into a separat clean water tank which is used for the house water system. This prefiltered water is run through the drinking water filter. From that I fill smaller plastic bottles for house use. This is very nice. No more waterbottles buying in the shops and no more plastic waste.
The water machine Air to water, was too expensive, too noisy and uses too much electricity for my taste....

Yes Carlos, you and "rwill" have the same guy. I contacted him yesterday and have ordered the HR-88c from him. I'm getting his last unit until his next delivery in May. I'll be sure to leave my feed back on it as soon as I get it plugged in.
I think this is not the same guy. Because before there was a company in Phuket "Generation Water" who sold those things. I contacted them various times more than one year ago. But they never replied. And now it seems they are out of business.
My friend is very happy with his machine. He bought it end of last year. The only problem is, that it makes a bit of a noise when operating, same as a dehumidifier. So maybe not to put in the bedroom????????

First of all take off the iron fittings at the pump inlet and check the inside of them. You will be surprised what you will find there. Just look at the attached pictures of my Grundfos pump which I took apart after about 16 years of service. Replace all metal fittings with PVC fittings. And cut the pipes and install unions so you can screw them apart if you need to get to the pump. Now you have to cut them apart. I have opened up my pump completely and have cleaned it from all the rust and other corrosion. It was a lot of work but at the end the pump and the stainless steel impellers looked like new. All the internal parts in the Grundfos pump are stainless steel. Only the casing is cast iron whith alot of built up corrosion. So I only had to replace the paper gasquets 4 of them for 80 Baht each and the pump was like new. Also the PVC pipes on the pressure side should be 1 " so the waterflow is much better and stronger. And put unions every where where you would have to remove a pump or a pressure tank. So you do not have to cut the pipes and glue them back every time you have to work on them. The Thai workers are just to lazy. They glue everything together. Of course, this is much easier and faster to do. But a hell of a lot of work to take the pipes apart again, if there is some work to do. Look at my pictures of the rusty fittings and valves. And by the way, replace all the metal valves (if you have any) with PVC ball valves (with unions). The pictures speak for themselves.

Even more lucky, Surat Thani's nightlife seems to reopen tonight, some clubs on neighboring Samui have already advertised reopening...
Do you have any official confirmation of that?

Well just kill it. Squash it with a tissue paper or with the bare fingers. Just wash your hands with soap after that. No problem.
The skin on the fingers is quite strong, so no problem. But still wash your hands.
You can also use the electric tennis zaper, kills them instantly.

I buy my coffee bean from Redcliff Coffee in Chiang Rai. I order online and they send it by EMS all over Thailand. They grow their own coffee and toast the beans after ordering. So you get the freshest coffee there is. The quality is Arabica 100 % and the taste is very good. Price is reasonable. Shipment from Chiang Rai to the South in about 2 to 3 days. Just google Redcliff Coffee Chiang Rai.
Enjoy!

@Tchooptip, what are you writing about April 11? If your 90 report is due then, it wouls be much too early to file the report now....Or am I missing something?Â

I order my coffee beans from Redcliff Coffee. They have their own plantations in Chiang Rai and when you order online, they roast your order freshly and send it immediately by EMS all over Thailand. You almost can't get fresher roasted coffee. The 100 % Arabica beans are really good and very reasonably priced. Look at their website:
https://www.redcliffcoffee.com/
Very fast delivery.
Enjoy

As written above, it would make much more sense to use recycled rubber from old tyres instead of wasting the nice new rubber freshly produced. This is just a waste of natural resources.

Why do they always write the time wrong? There is no 12.50 am. Either it is 12.50 and then it is afternoon or it is 00.50 pm also afternoon. Or then it is 00.50 am and that would be in the night. They seem to mix up the 12 hours and 24 hours time table many times....
