Taken from an earlier email
Currently, we charge GBP15.00 for this service which we will deduct from the proceeds before remitting to an account in Thailand. We will convert the funds to THB in the UK at our very competitive exchange rate before transferring.
If you would prefer, we can remit the funds in GBP so that the conversion is done in Thailand, but for this we charge GBP20.00 and there will be an additional charge in Thailand of up to THB500. -
I have been trying to get this sorted this week and it's a pain.
You have to register with the London branch before they will accept/send any funds.
You need to email London and request the application form. This 'original' along with original UK bank statement with UK address (Internet Banking printout not accepted) passport photo or copy of UK driving license.
I took all my completed paperwork to my Bangkok Branch here in Hua Hin to have it witnessed by the manager. He scanned it, countersigned it again and sent it to London through internal email.
Here is a copy of the reply I received:-
We require the original form and certified copies of your documents before we can proceed.
We look forward to receiving the form and the certified copies.
Regards

It's a shame on the country, that as modern as it is, it is unable to supply drinkable water at the tap in 2018 (2061 if you prefer).

"four Thai passports have been revoked."
How do you get 4 "Legal" Thai Passports, and why would you want/need the other 3???
Pretty damn sure that I wouldn't be allowed another single UK passport never mind 3 more.

Is there a list of these fees available anywhere (Website or Immy office). I have twice been asked for a fee at my local office (Hua Hin) for Proof of Residence letter/certificate, 1 for purchase of a scooter and another to open a bank account.
Just realised that the original article stated that there is no such fee for these items......... the service is FREE. There won't be any list of fees anywhere.

What happens if you need a toilet break between courses???? :-)

I upgraded to 150/50 (with 3BB) a couple of months ago and am constantly hitting higher d/l speeds than 150mbps.
http://beta.speedtest.net/result/6842904775 I live in Hua Hin on Soi 88 so no complaints here with speeds. Not sure how far away my 'Box' is though.
My complaint at the moment is that I am still waiting to be refunded for my old modem which they said would take 2 months (WHY?) but has so far not happened. I feel a trip to the office coming on next week.

Transfer it direct online from your UK bank to your Bangkok bank using their London branch.

You're not upsetting me in the slightest. Just a tad more than I get with my UK pension though.

I agree with daveAustin but I think the following has a bearing on it too......... £74,962 MP’s salary as well as the £36,045 in income from three separate pensions.
Mr Corbyn is entitled to an extra £39,272 a year as leader of the opposition on top of the basic MP salary.
I wish I could have a serious talk with my old school careers advisor.

A friend arrived here in Hua Hin at the beginning of October last year 2016. He needed a bank account to prepare for a full move here in a year or so. I'm a customer of Kasikorn so took him there to arrange things.
Apart from the minimum financial requirement (10.000bt) which we thought was quite high he was also required to take out ''Compulsory'' accident insurance which he didn't want or need. It was a case of ''no insurance, no account''. I certainly won't be introducing any more of my friends to Kasikorn.

I recently went to KBank in Hua Hin (Market Village) with a visitor friend from UK to open a current account in preparation for his full time move here.
They absolutely refused to open the account if he didn't buy their accident insurance.

Looks like he's had a bit of a hard life for a 31 year old

This new office will be very handy for me as I live close to 88. Just had a ride up and down and can't see anywhere that resembles the photo's posted. Anyone out there that can point out it's location or a landmark close by?.

Looks to me as though he's sat on the drivers lap

Sooooo, does this mean that all those that have been humiliated in this way, and found not guilty of the accused crime, will get an apology and be suitably compensated from government funds.

Apologies for appearing to be a bit of a thicko........................
I got both my bike and car licences on 28th January 2015 (this year). Both are 1 year Temporary licences expiring 28th January 2016. Are you saying that I can assume these are now 2 year licences and will not expire next year 2016 but now expire 2017???

Same as robblok, crap for a couple of hours late afternoon. Phoned them and they confirmed that the international server was the problem. Back up and running by 7pm.
I also changed my router to a TP-Link unit about 4 months ago.......the 3bb supplied box was worse than useless.

There has already been a vote. The UK voted to leave. End of. You shouldn't be able to change the result just because you didn't like the outcome that the country voted for.
