  1. We specialize in Spanish Hound bred for fantastic temperament, courage, companionship, best friend, working ability and show. Not much is known about this breed outside Spain where is called Sabueso. First in Asia we have decided to start breeding this beautiful dog here in Thailand importing them directly from the best Spanish breeds. The Spanish Hound in fact is considered to be one of the oldest breeds of hunting dogs, it is affectionate, loyal and sociable and is recommended as well as a house companion providing that the dog is well trained and socialized. In case anybody might be interested I will be glad to give you all the information about this wonderful dog and friend.

  2. yup, but not recently, about 4+ yrs ago....HSBC Bangkok....they extended the Baht condo loan to the company and I personally guaranteed it.... they would only extend a 10 yr loan (I understand that Thai nationals can get a much longer term), but its moot because I just paid it off early :o ..... that feels good....

you also might wanna try UOB (Thailand), they sent me brochures recently for condo mortgage loans to foreigners...do a search on this forum for details....

    I will thanks.

Anyway I heard of 8% fixed interest rate mortgages for a max. period of 5/10 years being offered on the market at the moment.

  3. Hi there

you can check all the capes around Rawai, Kata and Karon and in general along all the weast coast of the island. Since all the coast is quite shallow have a try only during high tide times. Moreover be extra carefull since all the rocks are quite slippery and several accidents happened in the past.

Squid, Grouper on the bottom and Narrow Barred Macherel (or Tenggiri as they are called over here) is what you can expect to find.

    Have fun

  4. After a good start of the year the fishing around Phuket has been quite slow during the last month.

With the exception of the always present Skypjack and Wahoo in fact the action is still not at the level of the previous years.

Still we had few marlin showing up at the drop-off nearby Phuket and at the Don Mai seamount in the Similan Islands. All juveniles which confirm the theory according to which the area surrounding Phuket is more a nursery for the Black Marlin.

I have to say nevertheless that we saw also few “big blues” jumping around but the fact is that at the moment they don’t seem interested in our baits at all.

On the contrary Ko Rok Island, even if not continuously, is fishing pretty good compared to the rest with some days of multiple hook-ups of Sailfish but only on slow-trolled live bait.
