I'm surprised at your experience. I've been using Thai dating sites for over a decade and have had only a couple of negative results. I've met many lovely ladies in that time, some of whom are still friends/lovers after years.
Thai Cupid was a good site but I didn't like the cost. I've been using Tagged for a while now. I'll see a 1,000 profiles, like about 20 of them, get responses from maybe 5 and meet up with 2 or 3. I correspond a few times before coming to Thailand and never try to rush things or even mention sex. If the lady does either, I move on.
Maybe a factor is that I'm only interested in women over 35. If you're looking at 20's and are over 60, well "go figger, trigger"

I has both eyes done at Ratchawithi public hospital. First rate doctor and service, fantastic results. Cost was less than 40,000bt both eyes. This was 4 years ago.

I had both eyes done at Ratchawithi Hospital near Victory Monument about 3 years ago. Everything was fantastic - the doctors, nurses, staff. I booked an appointment and was seen in a week, one week later the first eye was done, another week the second eye. In Canada it would have been free but I'd have had to wait over a year.
Before the surgery I could barely see the eye chart with my left eye, never mind the letters. After the surgery I could read the bottom line.
I think I paid about 20,000 baht for each eye - I remember the total cost was about $1,500 Canadian .

I saw a doctor at Phaya Thai hosp who sent me to a doctor at Bangkok Hosp who would provide me a prescription for Trimix or something at a cost of 10,000 baht. A bit steep as in Canada it's about 2,500 baht

My prostatectomy killed my sex life but penile injections (Trimix?) may help. Does anyone know a pharmacy in BKK that provides it?

Drinking isn't your problem, it's your solution. It fills your emptiness. erases that feeling inside of loneliness, molifies your fears. It's a great way to numb your feelings and hide from yourself. There's a way out, I hope you find it.

In early February I was advised by Justfly that my trip to BKK had been cancelled by Air China because of Covid. Shortly afterward I was told that my refund had been processed but would take 8 to 12 weeks to show up on my credit card account. That seems weird. Has anyone else here had a similar problem? I'm worried that Justfly is "going under".

I want to apply for a retirement visa using the 800,000 baht in thai account. Every bank I've been to says I need a work visa, Right now I have only a 60 day tourist visa and have no intention of working here. How do I open an account?

I'd like to take my Thai girlfriend to Ha Long Bay when I visit her in October. She already has her Thai passport. I will be applying online for a VOA. Does she need a visa as well?

If you want to see protesters shutting things down without consequences (to them) check out the news from Canada.

Most of my friends who have remarried in their later years have had small, intimate ceremonies. A second, third or fourth marriage is rarely seen as a momentous occasion. I suspect that, to some, marrying a Thai lady puts the event even further down the scale.

I only look for women who have had kids. They totally understand why my children come first with me.

Has anyone had Remicade infusions by a Bangkok rheumatologist? I've seen prices as high as 150,000bt per infusion whereas it is 30,000 in other countries.

A few years ago I would go to Panthip Plaza to have computers or phones repaired. They were usaually good and inexpensive. I heard it's no longer a good place.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
