Why were they not on level one at the arrivals taxi stand but instead trying to circumvent the system at the fourth floor departures which required hopping through the incoming turnstiles with their baggage if I’m not mistaken. Looks like they’ve been following cheap Charlie’s advice on how to save ฿50 surcharge and 10 minutes going downstairs. I’ll bet they leave those facts out when the fact finding report comes out. I’ll also bet she left her handbag in the back while unloading suitcase and duffles and the driver assumed they were finished and left when they shut the tailgate not knowing her bag was there as he was easily found within 3 hours and nothing was missing.

Being Cheap Charlie does not make stealing more legal.

  2. A few times I have witnessed indian groups spreading out in the lines, awaiting one of them moving quicker, and then gathering where one of the group holds a place. This is not a good way. On 2 occaitions, I have seen officers taking the whole "bunch" of these, and move them out of the lines and into offices. Which I think is a good reaction.

Maybe this is the case? I wouldn't be surpriced. And then the money issue comes up as an excuse....

  3. This is why I don't go to Phuket. Taxi drivers.

Think about it. I spend about 200.000 baht in Thailand every year Not much for a farang, maybe, but I believe it's a lot of people like me, choosing other destinations for the holidays.
How much will Phuket loose because of these shit-brains?
Thailands biggest asset is the people, but they are also their worst enemies.
