Me and the wife are currently in Koh samui and where hoping to visit chiang Mai towards the end of the month to do some treking tours and sight seeing. Having seen the local news and read the forum here is it advisable to visit with the current smog levels or stay away?

Me and the wife are currently in Koh samui and where hoping to visit chiang Mai towards the end of the month to do some treking tours and sight seeing. Having seen the local news and read the forum here is it advisable to visit with the current smog levels or stay away?
