  1.
Your teachers training Thai nationals how to hair dress, and charging paying clients in a commercial salon ?

One suspects your already skirting the boundies of whats legal already

oh... let's stop this discussions, ok?
I will post here some photos of our work.
And again I need a contacts of lawyers, not a discussions about how we worked and how we will work.
And again all the time we works absolutely legal and we have high reputation on Koh Samui and we will not work somehow illegal. We want to discuss the questions about our work with the serious lawyers.
    Thank you very much.

  2. I think it's all about frequency. If she trains staff discretely on a one off basis or cuts her friends hair for free (not in a commercial premises) you might swing it.

If she is standing there cutting hair time after time for reward you could well have problems.

As this is your wife, do you want to risk it? At best is going to be an expensive problem to solve.

    Yep, I know it.
That's why I want to solve this question legally and we don't want to work in some grey ways or some totally illegal ways.
The problem is that we can not find hairdresser as soon as possible. First staff that we hire before opening our salon we tried to find for 5 months! And we gave big salary.
But we can find easily the staff that wants to learn how to be hairdresser and we can teach (legally we are teachers in our permits), but lawyers said that we can teach only by words, but not with showing on our clients how to do this .
And we have couple of variants how to solve this questions legally. That's why again and again we need to consult about deadlocks in the understanding of the situation with the serious lawyers.
Most of the lawyers can help with opening the company, taxes and other typical things only, and lot of them don't know about how to solve employment law questions.
  3. There are no legal varients if your wife as a foreigner is cutting hair on a commercial basis she working in a restricted occupation, its that simple

That's why I told that we have couple of variants how we can work legally.
We will work nearly the same way as we worked for one year. She will not work like hairdresser on commercial basis. That's why we need to discuss this with the serious lawyers.
If the lawyers will say that the variants are bad and we can not work in these ways, I will be clearly know what to do after, but no one even can answer me on my questions. Thai lawyers from Samui, Phuket, Pattaya (that I found in google) just ignoring me
  4. You probably already know the answer. If you want to hire foreign hairdressers you need 4 Thai staff for every work permit, and on the work permit they need job titles such as business development manager, senior training manager, etc.

In their job description you need to include a paragraph that states from time to time they will wash, cut, colour, style the hair of staff, models and customers to demonstrate new techniques or to help transfer knowledge to Thai staff.

You may also need to increase the capitalisation of your business.

We don't need to hire foreign hairdresser, cause my wife (foreigner) is hairdresser (owner, teacher & consultant) , but she can not work like hairdresser.
Yeah we talked about "from time to time we will cut, colour, style the hair of staff, models and customers for show to our Thai staff new techniques e.t.c".
But the typical lawyers said that we can not do this, police will not believe you (whaaat?), this is illegal, you can only instruct with the words (super great teaching abilities at the level of telekinesis) what your staff need to do but you can not show or do anything with the hair of your models and customers.
That's why I need more serious lawyer that can clarify and analyze the legal variants, not the typical lawyer companies that will only copy-paste same things that I heard every time)
  5. I'm fully understand you guys.

But the main problem - is our field of activity.

We have beauty salon. We provide high quality haircuts, hair coloring e.t.c.

We know about professions that forbidden for foreigners.

We worked with Thai hairdresser for one year, but now everyone in Sabai.

Someone opened own bar, someone don't want to work and we very tired of this, cause we have not time and money for wait. Now our salon is closed.

We want to continue our work. For now our company just sells Thai cosmetics all over the world.

We love our work and you can see how many people we made happy.

Just type "BLOOM! Beauty Salon Koh Samui" in Google. You will find a lot.

But now we can not find any Thai hairdresser here on Koh Samui who can works a lot and wants to have a good salary for it lol. A lot of thai girls want to do absolutely nothing and they want to earn big money for it here on Samui.

But if we said that you will need to do a lot and you will need to work in one team - it's too hard for them.

I have couple of variants how to work fully legal and clear, just a little bit change the way of our work to work without depend of unscrupulous people.

And we need to consult with serious lawyer about our variants what we can do and how we can work.

Cause if serious lawyer will say that our variants are bad we will need to close our salon and we will find another country to work.

I just want to see the full picture about the situation and about the variants that I want to show.

A lot of lawyers can see only the list of professions that forbidden for foreigners.

One company that sometimes writes here offer to me to open a company on Koh Samui. But I already have a company and work permits for all our team. They don't try to read my mail at all.

Another lawyers said that I can be only the owner and I can not be the teacher of my staff, but in my work permit - I'm the teacher of my staff. Funny isn't it? :)

Most of lawyers just ignored me after I sent them legal variants and asked them about what they think.

    Just need deep consultation :)

And I can not write about this variants here. I hope you understand why. All I can say that the variants are legally acceptable like I think.

I will not pay to corrupt police for working somehow unlegal. I don't want to earn big money, I just want to work legal and make people happy cause they need high quality services that will not depend of mood of Thai hairdressers. :)

    That's all)

  6. What are the issues what you may think are complex issues may in fact have already been worked through by some else on here

If someone already been worked through them and he knows the answers, he will not answer here.

That's why I am looking for a competent lawyer for personal issues about the labour law.

I am deeply sorry if it's a bit clueless with respect to ThaiVisa community.
  7. Hello there.

Can someone recommend really good lawyers that can help to solve some employment law questions.

We don't need any help from lawyers that will copy-paste paragraphs of the labor legislation and will not answer on difficult questions after.

We works absolutely legal in Thailand already for more than one year, we have a company here and we know a lot about the laws, but now we need in more detail analyze some issues.

Can you please give some email contacts of lawyers? Thanks a lot!

    I'm very appreciate it!

    Big regards.

  8. Soooo....
    The investigation was...
Сriminals were Thai citizens we will find them -> nah, probably not, criminals were Burmese, yes, we think, that were illegal workers -> ho we saw farang there, it was probably farang, not asian people for sure, DNA? who cares. -> ...we need to defuse the situation a little bit -
"20 armed uniformed police and immigration officials, arrest immidiatly those computerworms farangs in Chiang Mai!" -> ahhh ok we have a new information, criminals were probably Thai citizens and immigrant workers (maybe with farangs?), let's get them... but... let's do this at monday, mai pen rai.

  9. Hi Alex

I bought some of these years ago (10 or 12 years?) on the island, but there is no way that I can remember where. Probably Kh Yot in Nathon.

I think that I still have one or two left. They are yours if you want them (and I can find them). You will need to replace the material - and they are only three sections in size.

I will PM you if I find them.

It would be great. Thank you very much!
