  1. Solar panels to charge EV directly?

    Yes, it's possible. We have a 5kWh system and can connect the EV directly. However, as others have said, it is slow. About three days to charge from say 15% to 100%. We have an EV charger, we sell the solar power electricity to PEA during the day and then charge (using the charger) at night at the cheaper rate. This way charging takes around 6 hours but is effectively free.
