  1. Yes, it's possible. We have a 5kWh system and can connect the EV directly. However, as others have said, it is slow. About three days to charge from say 15% to 100%. We have an EV charger, we sell the solar power electricity to PEA during the day and then charge (using the charger) at night at the cheaper rate. This way charging takes around 6 hours but is effectively free.

  3. I had the same problem but fixed it by instructing my wife not to accept the change. Now, it still happens that the cashier offers the change in the direction of my wife but after 5 or 10 seconds of getting no reaction, the cashier then offers it to me, and I accept it with a smile!
